Casual dining, great coffee, value for money and unpretentious. I had the spicy chicken bagel it was delicious $12 and my partner had the crispy chicken Caesar salad very tasty. Friendly staff withh excellent ambience.

Wow, amazing food and drink I have coffee every day. The flavour were outstanding The bagel burger was very fresh. Highly recommended. Cafe is small is my only issue. Inside and outside seating

A cute little cafe with exterior (curbside) seating available. Their delicious Chai Latte is made from scratch, not powder. I also had their lunch special, Vegan Buddha bowl. A beautiful balance of flavours with a little spicy bite. We also had the Eggs Benedict with Smoked Salmon and the hollandaise sauce on the side.

We were looking for a different Cafe, but decided to stop here. Although we had to sit outside, due to lack of space inside. The coffees were very good and we ordered croissants that were nicely reheated. Staff were friendly, and the premises were clean but not tidy.

Excellent coffee, I strongly recommend choosing a flight of espressos, long blacks and milk drinks avoid the batch brew. The Code Black beans are very tasty. Plenty of choices unless you're vegetarian as far as food is concerned. Great ambience and music, I'd avoid the restroom here though.

Enjoyed the ice chocolate drink. They use better quality ice-cream than most for that. Tastes similar to milo which we didn't mind. Went downhill after we got served the drinks because we waited about half an hour for our food. Looked outside and none of the 3 tables outside had any food served as well. If the kitchen was having a slow start or any issues, just hope they could have conveyed it to the customers so they know how long to wait. I liked my dish which was the eggs benedict with pulled pork. Boyfriend ordered the croquettes. Not much flavour or texture from it. Just the texture of starchy potato. Overall, not worth the wait.

Tried their mocha....the one that is most like a hot chocolate among all the mochas I had in my life(with an extra splash of chocolate sauce on it)! Suitable for those who LOVE chocolaty mocha. ~ I’m a happy customer greeted by welcoming staff! Will return for sure😁

Quaint little place coffee was beautiful. I noticed quite a wait for walk in orders. If I could change one thing it would be their knives for the love of god buy some knives that are serrated, they serve beautiful bagels but they are impossible to cut with the knives provided!

This cafe popped up on my Facebook as a suggestion so thought why not. Went for brunch with mates and ordered the full English breakfast, unfortunately the young bloke misheard me and brought out just eggs on toast. But they happily made what I originally ordered fresh. Very generous servings and reasonably priced. Plenty of parking close by too

Drink selection is excellent including a wide range of coffee options. Food was tasty, with my friends and I thoroughly enjoying the burger and Caesar Salad. For a trendy little cafe this would be hard to beat.

Can’t give this place enough praise! Recently moved to Perth and this is the best coffee I’ve had here so far. The mocha was perfect, not to bitter, not to sweet; just right. And the bagel, OMG the bagel. Cooked to perfection I tell you. Will definitely be back!

Just wow.. Stumbled upon this little café...was a bit hesitant as getting a good coffee is hard to get in Perth..well, I got a great espresso : fresh grounds, good crema, perfectly brewed and came with the perfect little companion, soda water ( many miss on that one). But the best of all was the service... 5* Just wow...friendly, chatty, polite...thank you PHUONG 🌺, you gorgeous girl for the great experience and your smile ...also thanks goes to the lovely young guy who served as well... Thumbs up 👍 Architects and Heroes for treating coffee right (and serving coffee how it should be) and employing staff who giving such a fantastic service. Will be back for more... Update 1 🙋: I gone to Subiaco and popped in again ( 12/03/19)..and yep...got fantastic service from the friendly Phuong and an awesome strong espresso... Update 2 🙋: another visit 15 apr...today I tried coffee from Burundi and I loved it..perfect crema, balanced bitterness..and the service 5*, friendly, knowledgeable barista Barry was such a delight on a rainy Monday 👍

Very decent coffee, decent scrambled eggs. Mushrooms disappointing. Used to be better, seems less care. Would go again but not as inspiring. Tea's decent and a good place to go for a variety usually not seen at most cafes. Still recommend.

First time visit, this Sunday morning. Very impressed. Small, with a cozy atmosphere. Laid back and friendly. The two staff were helpful, open to conversation and friendly. My cup of Ruby Tea, wonderful. Best new tea I have tried in twenty years. Very well presented as well, a small glass jug and handleless tea cup. Different to say the least. This place deserves to survive. And I'll be back soon!

This place is amazing and my favorite place in Perth. The coffee here in my opinion is second to none. The awesome barista Glen (Guy who wears the beanie that hides the luscious locks of hair) is always willing to make you want you want. The food here is delicious and leaves you licking your fingers / craving more. I’ve noticed the whole team smiles and treats every customer like a VIP. We take friends here each time they are in Perth and they love it. Put this place on your MUST visit list.

These guys are always on point. Consistently good coffee with a friendly smile. I bought some beans and they went to extra lengths to find out what process I use so that they could pass on any tips for the best extraction. It's not my local, but I make the trip because it's worth it.

Went this place for lunch and ordered duck and Spanish egg. Took a seat outside and more people came in after us. There was this couple who ordered 10 minute after us and we're sitting beside us. While we were waiting for the food waitresses kept on walking upto us asking if we ordered coffee. Happened 3 times as if they don't know who ordered what. Then after 30 minutes the couple next to us got there food. Seemed like they also ordered Spanish egg and duck. I walked up to the server and told her that we have been waiting for a while and probably she stuffed up the order. Then she went to the couple to check if they got the right order. Turns out the lady ordered gluten free Spanish egg but was served non gluten free bread. Then after 40 minute wait we finally got our food. The food was delicious but still I think they need to come up with some system to get the orders right

Coffee is generally very good, but $7 for an iced latte is upsetting... Staff aren't very friendly either, a lot of talking between themselves and giggling - which I found to be a little rude.

Service tends to be inconsistent, although the coffee is usually quite good. Have been here a dozen times and thought it was timely to give a short review after a bit of a recent debacle.The same coffee order (small flat white and a large long macc 3/4 topped up) was taken by the same girl this morning and two days ago. She didn't say hello or smile on either occasion (the place wasn't busy either) and today's order was mistaken despite her asking me to repeat the order. The long macc was topped up completely and tasted like it only had 1 shot. $8.90 is a high price to pay for warmed frothed milk served by people who lack friendliness.

I recently ate at architects and Heros. I have an onion allergy and this often causes problems when ordering food. I am always careful about this so I ordered the House Cured Salmon. When it arrived there was onion through it which was not specified on the menu. I said this to the waitress and she was so lovely. They replaced my meal straight away with an onion free alternative which was more expensive but they wouldn't let me pay extra. They were really nice about it, my replacement came really quickly and the food was so so yummy! I would really recommend people to try this place!!! Great food and really great service!!
