The high tea was ok. The set up looked nice but the food was not overly impressive at all, in fact, my scorn was pretty much half raw. Service was not so great either. We had a one year old baby in high chair but the waiter kept dropping dishes, hot tea even the birthday sparklers in front of her! It’s ok to experience but I won’t go back for high tea.
J. R.
Such a nice atmosphere here with holiday feels. Food was lovely and the staff was extra lovely with bright smiles! We ordered food to share and the lovely waitress noticed and approached us before we could. Excellent service! Thank you! 😇😇

A Bali-style restaurant with many discussions on the Internet. All in all it is worth a try but maybe I won’t be back again. We have an a la carte menu and not afternoon tea. The food is not unpalatable but there are not many surprises. The price is slightly higher .because the business is good, the service is not very enthusiastic.
K. P.
Beautiful venue, gorgeous food and drinks presentation. Three of us went there for lunch, and glad that we booked our table a day before because it was packed. We sat upstairs and it was as good as the ground floor. The temperature was perfect. The service was very lovely, from the host and the waitresses. I think it was better than the first time I came here.
Even it took us a while to get our drinks and food, it's understandable because it's very busy. We ordered nasi campur, sambal+omelette and gado-gado for share. The taste wasn't like Indonesian authentic food because it's Oz version, but we loved it. Our whole experience went great and would be happy to come back.
H. B.
I had the honey roasted pumpkin salad and it was delicious! I would have liked a more generous serve of pumpkin, but the pesto and feta were absolutely on point! Definitely book if you want a proper table and leave time to find parking. It's very busy. I definitely want to go back to try all the other yummy things on the menu, not to mention the amazing drinks! Beautiful decor too.
M. W.
Took my daughter here for a little mummy daughter lunch. We fell in love with the place! Excellent service food came out quick no long wait times despite it being busy. Orders were on point. Good flavours. I ordered the Pork Bao Buns, the presentation was fun and modern, flavours were all there and popping, the only slight complaint was some of the pork bites were a little chewy and overdone. My daughter ordered the chicken and waffles. Couldnt fault any of this dish. Presentation was very appealing smell and flavours were a 10. We will be back with friends. Great ambience and service guys such a good spot. 👍🏽
M. K.
The food was OK, but the atmosphere was great. It is busy and is hard to find a table especially on the weekends. So book in advance.
E. B.
Sitting at my table, it didn’t feel like I’m in Perth. The greenery inside the restaurant brought me back to Bali. Service was excellent. I ordered the Gado Gado with an extra side of chicken skewers. The food is more fusion than traditional. The portion size was substantial. Wished I left some room cos the cakes looked amazing. We managed to squeeze in a coffee. Even that was delicious. I highly recommend Chinta.
H. M.
Beautiful place, people and food! Highly recommend this place. The keto breakie was to die for!!!! Stunning interior. Felt like we were back in Bali 🥰
K. K.
Why this place is full of people and hard to make a book is reasonable. If you want to go to exotic cafe in Perth, should come here. You can feel like in Bali.
Food is so tasty but the pricy, so i give it 4 stars instead of 5 stars.
We ordered several menus, I recommend for Nasi Campur and Tempura Cauliflower.
but rest of them is also good.
S.
From my experience, If you want value for money for your high tea day, this is the place to be. I'v been here twice and the food has not disappointed me. Also well decoraterated to give you a very relaxed morning.
P. I. F.
Good place for Sunday breakfast. Portion sizes are massive. The “Big Breakfast” really is big. Parking is a b…..ch though. I would hate to be living close to this place.
Service was quick and unobtrusive which is always a plus. I’d go back. Although I felt the food might have been a little hotter next time. It might have been sitting on the bench waiting to go for a few minutes I feel. Other than that… it was nice.
S. R.
Never fails to impress. The local Balinese inspired eatery has an impressive menu. With something for everyone. An all-day breakfast lineup that is outstanding and why not throw in a morning cocktail or two!!
A. B.
I am so surprised I’ve only discovered this gem! Hands down, absolutely wonderful experience! Extensive Balinese inspired menu, large portions, great customer service and beautiful decor. Will definitely come back to try their high tea. Very busy though. Bookings are recommended.
E. D.
I was introduced to Chinta a couple of years ago. The place is busy (with good reason) so booking ahead is a good idea. Chinta is an absolute pleasure to eat at. Delicious food and amazing drinks with attention to detail for presentation. The main menu seldom changes but specials do and they are always tasty. Absolutely delightful.
R. B.
Great atmosphere, lovely staff. Food was OK, pretty average Nasi goreng. Great coffee, awesome juice.
N. B.
Great place with a Bali vibe. Had the Nasi Goreng and tempura cauliflower.... The cauliflower was very tasty!
Staff were please and chatted to us. $50 including a Bintang and a glass of wine. Will be back.
R. A.
Had a nasi Goreng and rainbow juice.
Nasi Goreng was average kinda had no taste to it and I don't know why they give you enough kecap manis to marinate a whole cow, the presentation of the food was great
Juice wasn't bad and yet again presentation was great
R. M.
A very hipster location with a very generous dollop of ganesh and budth statues mixed in with destressed wood bars and greenery making this barn quite cozy and chic. The food wasn't bad either, a great place for a date. Less emphasis on the authenticity and more what looks and seems 'Asian'. It's a good place to hang out, bloddy Mary was not very flavoursome, best to go to another place for authentic indo food but like I said it's a cool place to be.

Such a beautiful Cafe and gift shop. Best coffee and authentic menu in Perth. Plus I always find adorable gifts and stunning items of clothing too. My favourite place ever!
م. ا.
A unique experience! Love the atmosphere and food presentation.
N. W.
A wonderful place to come for breakfast to lunch.
We came here for brunch and really enjoyed the experience.
Service was fantastic, food had plenty of colour and a good mix of flavour.
N. S.
This place deserves 6 stars. Best meals! Everyone at the table loved their food & drinks. Gado gado & bloody Marys were fabulous 🤌🏽
M. C.
Best breakfast ever at this wonderful quirky cafe. After you have eaten you can browse through the books, clothes and other delights!
M. M.
Very nice Bali style restaurant in the heart of North Perth, friendly staff, nice atmosphere, delicious food and well made cocktails.
Good job guys
R. C.
I visited three times here, such a nice atmosphere, good food and drink.
Con is No walk in, must make booking.
A. S.
Amazing food, cocktails, juices, atmosphere love it!!
S. G.
First time here and can’t believe I have never heard of it or been before - such atmosphere and just an interesting place to eat. The bloody Mary’s are great and so is the mulled wine - best I’ve had ins while. Food was good, service was good and friendly. Food was well priced and tasted good, the curry was great. A negative would have to be the lack of parking - took a while as I parked down a road opposite the restaurant near a child care centre - had to walk - was welcomed after the meal to settle the food and drink.
D. K.
Great atmosphere and decoration, friendly staff. Worth checking in and try their indonesian dishes.
X. N.
Best high tea experience in Perth. You have to book in advance, as they’re quickly full. The service is exceptional, the staff are so pleasant. Throughout the high tea we were ensured that our tea and coffee were topped up. The food was fantastic quality, with great flavours and variety. Usually high tea offers the typical cakes and finger sandwiches, however at Chinta you get sliders and baos. You leave the experience feeling satisfied and full, rather than wanting more.
I highly recommend the high tea experience. The atmosphere is great to spend time with friends and family for a good chat too. Price is reasonable. Parking is easily accessible, however you need to be lucky to grab a spot.
S. B.
What a delightful Bali inspired cafe. Lovely menu and dessert is necessary when visiting. The lemon meringue tart was the bomb!!
M. K.
I'm so glad I found this place. A nice zen vibe cafe. The food looked amazing shame we already had our lunch. The staffs were nice in general and the cake and the drinks were nicely presented.
Although the place is amazing their parking space is too small. We had to wait for another car to leave to park.
J. M.
Super nice atmosphere and service. The food is excellent too and most importantly - delicious strong coffee! Definitely need to book as this place is busy.
K. Y.
Beautiful spot for any occasion. Fresh food, great portions and excellent service.
S. P.
Absolutely amazing from the service, staff, food and drinks.
We had a booking for 10 and all drinks, and meals arrived together.
The drinks were amazing. we had the refreshing fresh juices (a cocktail of interesting blends of juices (a must)),
The meals were beautifully presented and extremely delicious (my wife and I can hardly wait to go back and try some of their other delicacies)
d. r.
Absolutely beautiful Cafe. The mix between old fashioned era and Asian influence decor makes for a very relaxing experience. Even though it was so busy. I was there for a High Tea. The food was fantastic, certainly didn't leave hungry.
R. M.
Had brunch with frds & ordered turmeric chia latte which was a bit powdered. Ordered nasi goreng which was nice but rice a bit too sticky. Asked for spicy but ended with cur chilies. All in all a beautiful place with nice food & friendly service.
A. L.
Loved all the food ....staff was friendly and service excellent ...thank you all
S. R.
It’s a little paradise that makes you feel like you’re on a holiday on a tropical island. Ambience is fantastic. Staff are super friendly and attentive. And the food... oh my the food... super delicious.
Possibly book ahead if you go and be aware that parking can sometimes be hard to find.
T. L.
First time here and we loved it!!! Almost make us feel like in bali 😍. Service and food was really nice, had the duck spring roll and the tortillas to start, sensational. Nasi goreng with chicken satay was perfect (surely the best satay flavor we tried in perth) also had the pork belly, was perfectly cooked and not too fatty so perfect but maybe bit expensive for what goes inside the plates, apart from that everything was faultless, even our juice and ice tea were spot on 👌🏽👌🏽we'll definitely be back for some more!!!
J. P.
A lovely place, very nice staff just got asked to leave as another booking was coming in.
L. H.
Great food and service. Nice and cool inside to escape the warm summer.
S. B.
Very tasty, nutritious, well presented fresh food served in a wonderful atmosphere surrounded by lots of green plants and the sound of an indoor fountain. Also, great coffee and staff. Will most definitely be revisited!
B. T.
It’s okay nothing’s special. Good to find something different. Food and drink are okay.
A. T.
Service and interior are top notch. I had the nasi goreng with market fish. Fish was really tasty but the nasi goreng was a little stodgy and could've used some bigger flavours. I tried a few of the elements on the nasi campur which gave me some food envy. Rendang was packed full of flavours, eggplant was delicious. The Ikan bilis lacked crispness though. It really is a beautiful restaurant though and there's a small gift shop with some really cool stuff in it. I definitely recommend checking this place out.
F. C.
Having just moved into the area, who knew that we had this gem on our doorstep?
A beautifully laid out café, amazing presentation, and some fabulous food.
We had the duck spring rolls, chicken tacos, Nasi Goreng and the Keto Kickstarter. Oh my. Everything was delicious.
And need a drink? The cocktails are amazing.
R. W.
Beautiful cafe with magnificent service. I had an oat milk latte and the Vegan Big Breakfast. The food was brilliant and the energy is exactly the right match.
K.
Delicious fresh food, great portion sizes. Amazing fresh juices
m. p.
Holiday mood environment, friendly staffs, good service and excellent food. The pumpkin roasted salad was so far the best that I had. I strongly recommend this venue.
m. c. l.
Good vibe nice set up - Bali like. Food is average price is expensive for the dish itself, but cheap for the target patron group - food presentation is good targeting middle class Aussie(those who would consider $25-$30ish/dish as average price). Recommend for those who are after chilling out with friends or friends
M. K.
This place goes off. Very popular. There is a wait time.
Asia in one place. Bali, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam all mixed in. Over crowded as restaurants go with the decor but it adds to the vibe. Old toy cars, trinket shop with a market feel and deli mixed up.
My first negative was the door service. I had pre-booked. Waited patiently for the lady to service others waiting before me, before being overlooked and others that that just came to the door were seen to. I was looking straight at her. In front view can't miss me.
I don't need much other than I will be with you shortly acknowledgement and I didn't get anything. I want straight to my husband and got him to get our table. Very disappointed.
We love our food and this place is definitely ticking boxes for that with most of us very happy with our food.
At the we got kindly asked to leave. They needed it for Hi-Tea, which is highly popular and there were no more tables available. We were put out but because we had pre booked. It was for only 2 hours. The 4 of us left.
Our friends want to try the Hi-Tea, I personally wouldn't bother because service is so important and first impressions is not favorable. I felt they aren't interested in giving service to everyone equally. Though it would be interesting to see if it's just that day or something that happens often..
J. A.
Great food, good times with great friends
J. B.
Amazing place....great ambience. Staff who attended us were very helful and friendly. Intrigued with the food and it was very nice. Will definitely be back.

맛있어요 인테리어도 특이하구 좋아요 사람많고 좀비싸긴 하지만 그래도 인생뮤즐리를 먹어서 행복했어요
Friendly staffs and nice food. A bit crowded so might take some time to have your seats. But worth it! Every menu we ordered was very fine. Have no idea on what took them so long to make my muesli though, enjoyed staying here indeed! One thing is, they may be too pricy as a cafe.
F. Z.
Had the best vegan breakfast ever, hands down! The whole place is unique, eclectic, charmingly and so full of love - you just have to experience it.. worthy of a second, third visit, or more.. great value for money breakfast 👌🏽
Y. Z.
Food looks good and it tastes better than it looks! Love the tropical decor, spacious, got upstairs area. Free parking bay. Just a bit pricy comparing to other Southern Asian restaurants.
P. K.
We went to Chinta Cafe for high tea. The food was very generous and delicious. They had free flowing tea including English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Peppermint, Lemongrass and Ginger and two types of sparkling tea including apple and apple and blackcurrant. They also offer coffee and hot chocolate.
They cater for all sorts of dietary requirements such as vegetarian and vegan and also have a sugar free option available. You can also make it a sparkling high tea for a bit extra.
The staff were very friendly and the ambiance was great. There is also a little gift shop attached which is a nice touch.
D. H.
Amazing restaurant. So much care and passion has gone Into the food and venue. The team is amazing and delivers every time I have been…. A must go to place, I give it 5 out of 5 and a extra if I could for being so unique and creative.
C. T.
Amazing service, super quick food delivery, the waiters were so friendly and helpful.
100% would go back again and would recommend to everyone
N. G.
Beautiful setting, lovely staff, best food. Had a very lovely experience here all round. Even met the owner and had a great conversation as she was cleaning the tables herself. Great dedication to having a thriving business. Well done guys.
M. R.
Absolutely a must in Perth. The vibes of the place and the food really makes you feel like you were in lovely Bali.
K. S.
The new location is much bigger which is great I love how they have still incorporated the garden into the decor. The menu is a mix between modern Australian and Indonesian which I love. You have a sense of being in Bali surrounded by plants and the food doesn’t disappoint either. The Nasi Goreng is a must try.
L. W.
Great venue with excellent food and oustanding service.
There is a great mix of dishes, that will cater for everybodies tastebuds. For example we ordered the big breakfast, nasi goreng, double cheeseburger, crab linguine and chips for the kids.
The coffee is quick and delicious.
The setting and service is amazing.
There is very limtted parking, so get there early.
A great day out!
L. B.
Beautiful setting. Lovely presentation of table decor. Afternoon tea average. Food beautifully presented but average tasting. Scones had a strange after taste of bicarb. Mini cakes average. Nice setting for a special occasion but food and service average.
K. L.
Pretty over rated. Average food , prices on the high side , unsmiling stressed looking waitpersons . Decor is interesting and lots of effort has been put into lush Bali themed greenery if you go in for that sort of thing.
I am glad i visited and dined there once but wouldnt come back in a hurry
C. R.
It’s a funky quirky cafe in North Perth, nice ambience. Soon as you entered the cafe, it feels like that you’re somewhere in a holiday getaway place like Bali. Feels very summery with the interiors and the greens surrounding.
The cafe offering fresh juices, smoothies and coffee. Great food, vegetarian friendly and vegan options. They do breakfast, lunch and high tea. It’s definitely a place to go.
K. L.
Cute and Quirky Venue with awesome food. We came here for the high tea which was delicious. The staff were very attentive, the waitress ensured we always had a cup of tea. I can't wait to come back and try the breakfast menu!
J. Y.
The smashed avo toast was fantastic the pesto and feta took it to another level. The sausages from the big breakfast where delicious and freshly squeezed juice was a nice addition on a hot day! Service was great and quick they where relatively quiet
C. P.
Very nice morning, not too busy, awesome conversion of a petrol station to cafe! Love it! Chicken a waffles, an American fav with an Asian twist.... Very nice, mocha was nice, the teapot and cup gave us a smile. Birthday boy and his birthday breaky. We were there 9am-1030am Sunday, it was getting a little crowded around 1030.
Awesome breaky I want to go back.
N. D.
Whilst the food was delicious, the service wasn't great. We weren't acknowledged at the check in counter for nearly 10 minutes. One of our meals was wrong and our second round of drinks didn't come out at all until we asked where they were. None of the staff smiled and looked like they didn't want to be there. Disappointing 😔
S. S.
Very cool place! The atmosphere is very vibrant and the customer service is great. Had a lovely coffee from here and a very nicely put together breakfast 👌🏼 the hash browns yum!!
T. P. (. T. 婷.
Yum! We booked the upstairs space for a work function. Staff were attentive and helpful however one of them did become quite short tempered toward the end and basically ordered us to leave when we hadn't realised there was a specific time limit. Everything we ordered was delicious. We all concurred that the Indonesian dishes at Chinta are the best things on the menu. I had the Nasi Campur and highly recommend it. The bao are beautifully presented but you have to assemble them yourself so keep that in mind if you don't want to get your hands dirty. Fits large groups. Definitely book.
k. l.
Food is great, the portion sizes vary a lot between certain dishes though. Some brunch option are generous and other Indonesian in options are quite small, and my father's fish of the day was less than an entree size which was actually ridiculous for the approx 37$ it cost. Service was polite and enjoyable and I could see the attention was being made to give us an enjoyable experience. However, getting rushed away at the end of our booking when we still had 20mins to go wasn't appreciated, and we were still trying to drink tea and chat when asked to leave. Maybe there is a better way to communicate this? Parking was difficult as others have stated. Can suit small or big bookings. Decor and venue are beautiful. Mixed bag I guess, I probably wouldn't be back for more then a coffee tucked away out of the main booking area.
s.
Good food and good service. A unique eating area. Really good coffee as well!
F. P.
Went this morning for brunch. I’m glad that we made a reservation before hand because there was a queue to get in. Despite being so busy, we received exceptional service and the food arrived fast. My French toast was delicious- I would return here.
G. E.
Food and atmosphere were amazing. Great service and the presentation of food and drinks were fantastic. Coffee unfortunately was overly bitter but the juice and food made up for it. Love the homeware/goods shopping section too. Will be back very soon !
H.
I just finished lunch with my wife. Food was amazing and loved this atmosphere. So everything's good though in the end when I pay the bill, the staff in the pos was quite rude and unprofessional. She looked quite annoying what she should do.
I cannot hear any proper words even there is no smiling.
I just saw frown face and rude behavior.
I hope that next time it can be changed.
A. K.
Had nice time with friends here. Food and drinks was great
C. L.
Lovely place! Just like I going back to Bali . Definitely will go next time!
Stuff all really friendly, also the meal they served was fast. Had really good experience dine here :-)
C. K.
This is my type of breakfast! Love curries for brekky!
Rendang was amazing. Gets very busy! Only compliant are the coffee took over 20min, and extras cost $4.50 each, which is way too much!
They have all the normal breakfast fair. Still highly recommend!
M. S.
I went to this venue for a high tea so I can't comment on the normal menu but the venue decor and service was fantastic!
Food for the High Tea was okay, to be honest nothing spectacular.
The dinnerware was stunning.
My friend who had a baby said is was really hard to navigate around the venue with a pram.
M. B.
There is nothing I could fault about Cinta. My first time there and will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place.
S. M.
Big portions, friendly atmosphere, great service, nice coffee , i had the crossont breakfast it was the best, decoration looked like bali which was my favorite part will be back soon❤
V. P.
Best place in Perth. Food yummo. Visual special you can take heaps of great photos with a backdrop like this.
Great staff. atmosphere tropical Bali style.
W. L.
Best Chia Latté I have ever had. With a a cinnamon stick as big as a cigar to stir all the gourmet spices, cardamon, cinnamon, chilli, car on mind, you name it. Wow! One happy girl here. Exotic surroundings too.
M. G.
Chinta Cafe is a very relaxing and cozy place. They have wide range of food and drinks to choose from. Though I find it a bit pricey but those we ordered were all yummy and the presentation was superb. I would suggest that you call them first for reservation to guarantee seat/s as they are quite busy. I was so in love with the place as I am a plant lover. It has plenty of plants and statues. You will feel that you are in Thailand or the like. The ladies' toilet is very clean and impressive. They accept cash and card as payments.
U.
The service was great as per usual, the chai latte was great! Especially with the honey! My food was nice but the sauce was more sour than usual. It was still a tasty dish though! The place as always looks good and feels very inviting.
R. R.
Great ambient environment to enjoy a traditional Indonesian Meal .Delicious, beautifully presented, and flavours to be enjoyed . Highly Recommended. Encourage you to book online to secure your table
H. F.
A bit pricey but the ribs is amazing. Great decors. Sometimes it’s get too hot and crowded, parking spot is rare sometimes
E. W.
Omg! I found this cafe by accident while I was on my break and it was sooo worth it! Half paradise-cafe, half bits-and-bobs shop, I love those style of cafes to begin with...but then I discovered the decor!! Wow! Some sort-of oriental style with relaxing music, greenery and fountains to make you feel like you were in paradise. I ordered a decaf cappucchino with almond milk and the winter special Keto pork belly meal. My break isn't long so I had to check the timing for my meal. I needn't have worried! They were so quick and the food was cooked to perfection and had subtle oriental flavours going on. Stunning. And the coffee was the highlight of my visit, my coffee had not only the standard chocolate powder on top but also small chocolate sprinkles that melt in your mouth and the coffee itself has subtle tones of chocolate flavour to it. It was extraordinary and so different from any other cafe I've discovered.
I was absolutely thrilled by Chinta cafe and I recommend it highly to anyone who loves chilling out in cafes as much as I do!
c. F.
Such an enchanted place and delightful food. Try any dish and you will want to come for more. Tried the keto breakfast and was surprised how the pork belly, kimchi and fried eggs just blended beautifully in the mouth. Happy tummy and soul here, thanks!
B.
A beautiful setting, a touch of Indonesian elegance, red umbrellas, green jungle. So clean. Staff friendly. Food delicious. Very difficult to choose preferred taste sensation. Coffee perfect as well. Highly recommend.
G. U.
Chinta has an atmosphere of its own. It's all the way fusion Asian-Western style. The menu is exquisite and the service is quite good. The place became so popular that even in the middle of the week people are queuing for brunch or just a coffee. It's worth it's well gained reputation to give it a try if you never been there.
L. S.
Amazing spot. Delightful cafe with different level sitting sections. Friendliest staff and one of the best meals I have eaten in ages. Marked to go back!! 💛👌💛
T. W.
Incredible atmosphere I felt like I was at a resort and the food was amazing.
S. K. B.
Plan ahead for parking and if you dare to drop in without a reservation muster your patience : you will be waiting a while. That said, Chinta is an indulgence worth waiting for. The luxuriant, idyllic Seminyak inspired setting really pleases the constant horde of determined brunchers. Although the kitschy homewares are outrageously overpriced - if you're only interested in brunch you aren't going to be too scorched. Great vegan options.
L. W.
Best cafe in Perth. Cannot find anywhere better! Amazing staff and great food. Could not recommend more!
A.
Food was delicious, had beef redang curry, flavours excellent, portion size very generous. Good friendly service.
J. L.
Well! In three months, I probably have been there about five times already! And still wanting to go back again soon! Good atmosphere and great food!
S. W.
Never been before...YUMMY price reasonable staff great .Great decor and gift shop .Recommend Booking (popular)
M. P.
Food was good here and the decor is eclectic but still very nice to sit in. I enjoy all the plants around the place. I always enjoy Indonesian food. This place is on the pricier side, but presentation is done well.
D. P.
Hidden Gem. I got a gift voucher for Chinta and had no idea what to expect...what a surprise! Food was excellent and ambiance wonderful.
P.
Been here a couple of times now and enjoyed the experience, make sure you book in advance as they're always packed out, parking is hard to find, so make sure you're prepared to walk, will come back again.
P. S.
The place itself is stunning the ambiance is amazing. I love the decor and how everything is so relaxing as soon as you walk in you feel such a calm vibe. We had the salmon and French toast and from the presentation to the taste everything was great. I would recommend for the salmon to be served on a flat plate instead of a bowl as it makes it hard to cut around. Other than that everything was beautiful. The staff were really friendly and nice. The portion size was great for the value. Would highly recommend and I would 110% go back for more.
M. T.
Nice atmosphere around our table, food and service was very nice. But need more patient if you come at busy hours
J.
We had the most wonderful experience there, our lunch fabulous, tasty , presentation , friendly staff and wonderful decor. Will have to try the high tea too. 😀
T. D.
Lovely place, Bali feels 💜 slight problem being limited to 2 hours as when us girls get together 2 hours doesn't cut it 😁
K. R.
We had a beautiful breakfast and were well looked after by their wonderful staff. Our meals were plentiful including homemade baked beans and a delicious hash brown. Highly recommend and will eagerly return.
R. Y.
The staff were lovely and were able to find us a table even though apparently they received a notification notice from us. A great brunch menu -plenty of variety in the menu. The food was lovely, prices very reasonable for the serving sizes, and the ambience and decor were very nice. Thank you for an enjoyable experience for my son and I. Just be very careful parking around the area - the parking inspectors are very diligent around the area the 2 times I've been there.
N. S.
Very impressive place with outstanding service, interior, menu and beautiful gift shop! Highly recommending!
E. P.
Great Brunch, Fresh Juices are amazing and remind me of being on holidays, Very relaxing Bali inspired interior.
j. R.
Very busy place, lovely Bali atmosphere, the food is expensive for an Asian meal. Bookings are a must on weekends
J. T.
Beautiful, eclectic cafe, delicious pork baos, lovely staff and the drinks were very tasty.
K. K.
This is amazing for coffee, brunch, lunch, high tea and the shop is always interesting. Staff are lovely and beautiful surroundings.

Beautiful place, delicious fresh juices and amazing breakfast!
M. P.
Outstanding vibe, feels like you're overseas on holiday. Service is always great and food and drinks are always exceptional. Love this place!
C. F.
I just loved Chinta Cafe. Their food are extremely delicious and fair price. The place is stunning. The last time I went with my husband, they put us in a table close to the kitchen which we did not like due to smell and so on. However, it was not a big deal. I strongly recommend!
J. P.
Best high tea experience, great service very friendly plenty to eat. Highly recommend
杨.
Food was almost as good as the view.
Amazing little Cafe tucked away on Scarborough Beach Road. Offers a variety of great tasting food for a reasonable price.
Unfortunately the coffee let's it down slightly, not the best roast and quite sure our beans were burnt. Apart from that, the array of items on the menu is great and presentation, particularly of the smoothies, is amazing.
E. F.
It was indonesian cuisine food was delicious but drinks are amazing love it 😍

Bali Buffet at home-We had this last night and it was one of the best meals I've ever had! Just out of a lockdown, the 'eat-in' numbers are currently limited. We had dinner booked in a fancy city restaurant for a special 60th birthday. Unable to do this, we ordered this buffet at the last minute. What a great choice. The booking was easy over the phone, pick up also easy, and ready on time. Dinner for 4 packed in 2 huge brown paper bags decked out with ribbons and flowers. Five dishes plus rice, crackers and two desserts each!!!! Sooooo much food and so well presented. Tasted amazing and perfectly cooked. Highly recommend. We have left overs for tonights dinner too!!! Thank you Chinta!!!
g. m.
The place are different style from the other cafe and restaurants, it’s more design like Bali with plants and some industrial ceiling design.
About the food I should say nice presentation but the food is average and is not something you would like to try times to times.
The best part of this cafe is desert and lemon passion fruit gateau and their chocolate desert are perfect, you want it to try them every day also the drinks are amazing I tried the French kiss and it was wonderful.
P. W.
Chinta offers a truly unique cafe experience. The atmosphere is pleasant and lively. The menu is extensive and offers something for every taste. The coffee is excellent and the staff are attentive. This place is exceptionally busy on weekends. It is a great place to meet with friends and to enjoy a drink or coffee together.
J. D. S.
Great food, service a bit chaotic but adds to the atmosphere, if you can't get to Bali, this is the next best thing
K. T.
Food is good, service is so bad, we ordered at 10am and the food was not ready until 11.15 am.
D.
Been here many times. Stunning unique decore. There have a small gift shop too. Sometimes the place gets too crowded and service is compromised. Book ahead for a large group. Food and drinks are always delicious. If you love indonesian then would recommend the Nasi Campur. Their cakes and coffee are amazing too!
H. B. K.
Chinta Cafe is our go-to for brunch because (1) they take booking!! Which means that you can be organised and not having to wait in line hoping to get a table, (2) great selection of dishes from East to West, and (3) they serve great cocktails! However, from our most recent experience on Saturday, they seem to be short staffed... Service was very slow, it took half an hour for us to get our drinks (colada and juice) and almost an hour for our Nasi Campur. We didn't get asked either if we wanted another drink. Hoping that's a one off, we will definitely come back again.
J. L. B.
Delicious meal, lovely drink.wait for food was alittle long but waitress was very nice&kept checking in.
P. H.
I picked this cafe to celebrate my wife’s birthday after having delivered several Uber riders here in the past. And wow, what a wonderful experience it was!
The interior is done out like a Balinese street cafe I think, and it’s really warm and homely.
The staff were nicely attentive and very polite as they showed us to our table.
The menu had something for everyone and I went for the Beef Rendang Curry. OMG it was amazing! My wife had a homemade beef and cheese burger with salad which she adored from the first mouthful. Needless to say we both left clean plates and will definitely be back again soon.
I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this cafe to others. Definitely 5 stars in every way.
R. A.
Lovely food but a bit on the expensive side. My French toast cost $20 for some seasonal fruit and one piece of bread. The coffee was ok. The waiter also informed us we needed to leave because our table was booked even though the cafe was mostly empty. It was disappointing to have to leave before we expected
A. T.
3.5 Stars Nice venue decoration with Balinese theme and food presentation is awesome however the recipe could be improved for gado gado. Nice ☕ though 🙂
J.
Went there at 9:15 on a Monday morning and it was already busy, parking was at a premium. We already had a booking which was good because there was a line to get in shortly after we got there. Service was spot on and the staff were really good, it was obvious that they were flat out though. The amount of attention from them was just right. All the meals arrived at the same time and were all really good, serving sizes were good. The atmosphere was different from most other places in Perth, the tropical plants and colourful umbrellas are really refreshing. The only problem that we had was trying to figure out where to pay when we left amongst all the plants and statues. Definitely on the goto list of brunch venues.

Great, food,coffee and Bloody Mary's
T. S.
Superb. Nasi Campur is beautiful. Gado Gado is delish. Really nice juices as well.
S. A.
Amazing place! The Bar staff are excellent! 🌈💙
T. S.
Lovely ambience. Great food. Friendly service. Would definitely recommend the high tea here!
M. N.
Ohhhhh lovely food, gin in teapots, and tastefully culturally shoplifted decor.
H. R.
The nasi campur was amazing and the misses loved the cocktails... will be back soon
T. B.
Fantastic food, relaxed atmosphere and wonderful service everytime, without fail. Chinta is a must visit!!!
A. R.
Breakfast was good. However, half the mushrooms were less cooked than others.
Service is nothing to write home about.
I was stunned that waiting staff who ‘circled’ our table , did not seem in a rush to clear the plates promptly!
Decor was great !
K.
Excellent bali inspired foods, service is also excellent! Love this place
J. G.
Loved the Indonesian inspired food and the fresh juices were awesome! Good friendly service. Was very busy while we were there, so would suggest booking so your not disappointed. My only critic and it's a very small one, is the table water is not filtered and tastes bad. Definitely going back to try some other dishes.
R. P.
Fantastic food and relaxed service. Could do with a misting system for humid days. We had planned to have a lovely long day only to be told, before eating, that they now have a 2 hour table time limit. I wasn't told this when I booked and there was no apology for that info not being relayed. I don't have a problem with 2 hours, I just needed to know at time of booking by phone. I would have booked elsewhere.
E. M.
Food was so tasty and beautifully presented. Staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back.
D. M.
Such a lovely spot with a great interior! I felt like being in Bali all over again. Definitely coming back for high tea, which looked incredible.
R. H.
Highly recommend...
Great food & atmosphere.
Loved the decor 👍
P. S. D.
Always enjoy Chinta. Beautiful tropical environment. A holiday at the cafe.
N. C.
Food was ok. I ordered the big breakfast. Fries were quite good and the coffee was nice.
A. O.
Wildly eclectic venue, awesome fit out and great vibe. I only had a coffee, which was good. Will go back to eat for sure
D. P.
Delicious food and a good atmosphere. Reasonably priced and tasty coffee. Baby friendly too 👍
l. “. m.
Amazing place, fabulous decor. Quality smoothies and tempura. However we waited 45 mn for our meals. And the dishes were rather average especially after this long wait. I recommend this place for the setting.
J. T.
Such an amazing place. Staff are amazing and friendly. Shop is beautiful looking
L. S.
Very nice vibe. Love the vibe and greenery here. The food was tasty as well and the chai is one of the best I've had in Perth.
I got the vegetarian gado gado and the Chickpea and pumpkin salad. 2nd time here and I'd come again!
A. H.
We had breakfast here this morning. WOW my blue swimmer crab omelette was so tasty, perfectly cooked and accompanied by a delicious light little salad. My husband said his big breakfast was the best he had ever eaten. Coffee was soooo lovely and the service was second to none. The owner in the gift shop is always so friendly and we always leave our visit here feeling great.
S. P.
How different, and enjoyed its service and food , will return .
J. I.
Lovely spot. Great Ambience! Nice wine selection. Everyone loves a Nasi Goreng. Perfect spot to meet up with a friend or when you're just really missing Bali.
S. R.
Attended a high tea today, the cafe's decor is tastefully decorated and the seating plan ensured comfort and a sense of space. The late 50's period table ware was fantastic and of quality. The High Tea food was a good variety of savoury and sweet, compliments to the chef. Getting a hot cup of tea and coffee for the guests at the table was very problematic in quality and long length of time for service. I finally got a hot cup of tea at the very end. This did spoil the experience for me
S. C.
Lovely staff, excellent customer service, amazing vibe and food is fantastic. Highly recommend!
J. H.
Very cool place the food was pretty good could almost do with a tough more flavour but still enjoyable, they have taken an environment with not much to work with and no real views surrounding it and made it and enjoyable place to dine
만.
Summer special waffel is one of the best one.
Nice and attractive place :)
Kids menu also available as well.
N. B.
Great menu, beautiful balinese inspired space and gorgeous shop also
L. G.
Fantastic place. Highly recommend visiting. Only issue was the long wait for drinks for our High Tea. Though we were there Saturday arvo and was very busy
R. M.
The atmosphere of this place is really nice, lots of plants and interesting decor. Best to book before heading over as it can be quite busy. The food is very good, and there is a wide variety on offer.
H. A.
Great service, nice selection on the menu and delicious. Too full to try other items but will be back again to sample more.
C. C.
Lots of atmosphere, good service and good cafe style food.
J. M.
Nice food, good environment and friendly staff,,,👍🌟
C. H.
Beautiful place. Food and Drink are nice. Love their decoration
N. B.
Wow, exquisite - the environment, service and of course the food...outstanding...
S. T.
Meals were cold
Tasted good looked great
Just cold

Beautiful cafe with excellent food and service
A. D. O.
Very pretty cafe, with an extensive menu (including some Asian fusion options). Lots of tables and free parking nearby.
F. N.
It was a relatively small size cafe/restaurant. There's a clothing shop inside the premise which sells unique items from places around the world, mainly Asian region. I went there after reading about their beetroot latte. I scored the latte as just okay. Though I had the latte with almond milk, I was expecting a bit better than what I had. Parking was not easy, especially during weekend as it's located very close to the housing area so there are signs for not parking on the side of the road or on the verges.
K. L.
This cafe looks absolutely amazing. It’s like walking into a jungle. Loved the dishes I ordered and everything was presented beautifully.
J. B.
Best High tea yet! Beautiful presentation with fresh flowers and lovely china with a great assortment of sweet and savoury delights. Really lovely experience in this guirky venue
J.
It's like being in Bali. Delicious food, drinks and desserts. Little Gem of a place with plenty of personality.
N. F.
Beautiful, quaint venue with a good selection of food. Service is good and the food is tasty. Serving a good range of healthy food options as well.
s. s.
You will not be disappointed!
Manager/staff were super friendly which is refreshing. We did not make a booking, but were accommodated due to a no show. There was not a hint of pretentiousness even though they were super busy and we didn't book in advance. Will be back!
L. H.
Lovely to meet Graham and Robyn. A little Bali in Perth!
A. T.
I came to Chinta Cafe on recommendation from a good friend. The only regret I have is not coming here sooner!
I felt like I was transported back to Bali (which is a lot to say in the current no travel environment).
This is now on my favorite places list!
K. M.
Amazing high tea experience 🙂 we had a new staff member serve us and she did a great job!
S. C.
5/5 for whirling you away to another place of relaxation and tranquility. You can’t go past breakfast cocktails and excellent service.
4/5 for the food. While it was tasty it just fell short of the energy and vibe of the interior presentation
T. M.
This is a go to place for me the layout allows you to have your privacy while still receiving excellent service and great quality food! If you need to buy a little gift there is something you can always pick up inside at the shop. Lovely owners have really created something special!
P. B.
Great eclectic menu with western dishes and south east Asian dishes. Nice atmosphere.
S. J.
My favourite place in Perth - 3 or 4 days a week for brekkie. Fantastic coffee, coconut muesli and atmosphere.
P. Y.
I ordered a gado gado salad. The dish was beautifully plate up with that peanut sauce so incredibly perfect to go with. Unfortunately there were only 4 small miserably cubes cold tempeh and a poached egg sitting on it. I was utterly disappointed. It will be a winner dish if they would have deep fried or cripsy the tempeh to make it nice and warm to perfect the entire dish... Imagine the price of this dish does not justify it.
T. K.
Very good service very quick and friendly staff
F.
Chinta is the greatest place to go for any occasion but in particular a special event, the food presentation is excellent and the range of drinks is great. The food is tasty and the menu varied. The staff, especially the owners are always friendly and welcoming.
W. C.
Such an amazing place. Food was really yummy. Worth the wait. Went with my Son for Mothers Day. Staff are lovely
J. M.
The place was buzzing on a sat afternoon. We got there just after 2:30pm for some ice coffee. They tasted pretty good. Indulgent, yet refreshing on a sunny Spring day. We sat out in the garden & it was really nice, relaxing, comfortable & shady. It was pretty busy & we had to wait for over 5 mins for a table & suddenly the manager/boss came to us & took us to our table. She did this in the middle of all her paper work. Now, that's what I call very good service. She was very friendly & knew how to treat customers. It's hard to find good service these days. I highly recommend this place & would definitely come again.
A. v. B.
Wonderful atmosphere and service. My mum had the nasi goreng which looked amazing and she said was equally so.
I made a strange choice (given the awesome menu) of “The Big Cheese” Burger ...I've taken one star off only because there was way too much sauce on the burger for my liking (maybe the lid came off during service) ...it's hardly fair comment though given there are so much more exotic choices on this menu.
I'll definitely be back. Great place, loved the decor and setting.
D. M.
Four of us had a fabulous ‘brunch’ (actually midday) here today, Sunday. The phone reservation was taken by a wonderfully friendly woman, who also met us on arrival. Despite being packed to the roof, we got nothing but smiles and genuine warmth from the staff. The menu is almost impossible to choose from, it all reads so well. We ended with five dishes between the four of us, and everything was perfect. Great from start to finish. Highly recommended, we will be back.
S. W.
Eclectic Asian fusion restaurant in a converted garage. Plenty of secluded places amongst plants and tropical decor.
Renowned for the High Tea experience.
Reasonable prices for dishes that have been prepared with attention to presentation.
Good range of wines, sparkling wines and beer.
P. B.
A unique atmosphere, very good food.
S. J.
Beautiful energy food great staff very friendly will go again ❤
M. H.
Good food and nice venue with lots of cool stuff in it.
A. T.
We went here for our annual catch up and were totally delighted. They have set sitting times as many other places do, however we asked for a little longer as we knew there would be a lot to talk about and were afforded extra time. We were sat in a tucked away corner although it was also just near the door but very pleasant.
The food was AMAZING, the service was great, and considering they were full to the brim, we did not go unnoticed or have ridiculous wait times like some other places.
I had the Prawn & Green Mango Thai Salad and BBQ Pork Bao Buns just because I thought e salad would be little. Heck NO!! It was so massive I had to take the Bao buns home. And the flavour of that salad..... I'm still thinking about it a month later and looking for a day to go back. The desserts made me feel like Homer Simpson and the juices just divine.
Well worth the money spent. Thank you ladies and gentlemen.
B. B.
Been here 4-5 times and while the venue itself it top notch, the mains (food) are always 'ok'. Going forward this will be a great option for coffee/cake.
M. K.
Delicious food...Nasi Campur is unreal!
N. A.
Great asian dishes and coffee, service could improve a little.
S. K. W.
Went to Chinta for Sunday girls lunch. Food was so nice, staff were very friendly and the prices were reasonable.
A friend went there on the same day with her friends, it must be a popular venue for groups.
There’s a shop inside the cafe as well.
Definitely will go back again.
h. c.
Food is amazing!!!! Big portions and just yummmmm
G. D.
Wow. My work mates and I were lucky enough to have a midweek high tea. Was perfect. Free flowing coffee or tea. Great place will be back.
Parking is tricky.
L. P.
Had high tea and it was lovely, the decor is beautiful.
B. S.
We just had coffee and cake and I've found at other cafes the service is not as good if you don't get a meal. This was not the case, our waiter was fantastic. Really polite and attentive. The coffee and cake were amazing. We've already booked our next visit too.
N. B.
Great atmosphere plus awesome food👍
J. L.
Great food, great service will definitely come back.
A. B.
Chinta is ALWAYS on point. Food is varied, interesting, beautifully presented and consistently delicious! Coffee and juices are great, staff are super friendly and vibe is delightful. I couldn't ask for anything more!
r. t. s. P.
What a beautiful place..my meal was delicious love it will take my friends and family
M. T.
Amazing coffee especially as most places don't know how to work with Almond Milk...I can easily drink 10 of these. The Honey Cake is divine but more importantly, the service is impeccable. The only feedback for improvement is somewhat outside their control, is to get more parking spaces.
K. J.
Absolutely love this place. The food is amazing and great decor too. Will definitely be back 😍
I. L.
Such a nice and cozy restaurant here. And also foods was amazing!
E. O.
We had a sunny breakfast outside, the crab pancake was delicious. Inside is like a treasure trove. For those of you who love traveling to exotic places and discovering interesting objects with stories, this place is worth a visit. Some of its even for purchase. I love how it’s dog friendly and full of plants! Very cool. I want to go back and experience their high tea
L. S.
Fabulous food. Great surroundings. Fantastic service. Thank you.
J. T.
DELICIOUS FOOD (gado gado, amazing peanut sauce, fantastic vegetarian choice)
MATCHA LATTE came with cinnamon on top (more of a surprising chai x matcha combo- average)
PORTUGESE TART was incredible
WAIT was slightly long but gado gado was WORTH it!!
BEAUTIFUL INTERIOR, love the plants, sat outside under the umbrella, abit of a windy day but good vibes
C. B.
Delicious, interesting menu and great service. Decor just beautiful
D. H.
What a charming place with a beautiful selection of food and gifts on offer.
G.
Overall a good place, nice vibe and generally food, with a nice "balinese" touch, however stay away from the crab linguini, the sauce is pure garlic, so much you can't even taste the crab.
Everything else is pretty good, Nasi Goreng is great, and even the burger, very tasty. Cakes are fantastic. Service is a bit slow when they're very busy but that's alright. All in all I recommend it, great atmosphere, and generally good food.
S. M.
Oh my lordy! I feel like I was living under a rock and cannot understand how I haven't been to such a great breakfast spot. Firstly mad props for the decor. It's like a real dreamy feel on the inside with unique furniture and plants (outside is a little basic and standard). The staff are beautiful, attentive and helpful. The music was great. The food - damn! I had the chicken waffle and the chicken was so moist and tender, it actually had a great kick from the chilli and that syrup! Yum! Can't wait to come back for more. I'd expect a little wait on the weekend. Understandable and worth it!
R. M.
This place is like stepping into another place. Welcoming interior, delicious food, amazing coffee + outrageously good coconut chai!!! Love the staff and the owners, they always make you feel welcome and happy that you're there. Love love love this place!! Great for work or social.
A. K.
I recently had high tea at Chinta for my friend’s baby shower. The place was beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was excellent.
F.
Lovely little spot for coffee, can't wait to go back for lunch one day!
P. C.
Went on a Monday so it wasn't busy and had an amazing breakfast. Gorgeous place. Looks like they're having teething issues at busier times as they have only just opened but the food and drinks are worth it. Nice chilled music and atmosphere too. Definitely making it a regular spot.
UPDATE Dec 2016: I've been many times now. Service has always been great and food excellent.
K. R.
Have visited Chinta only once, but will definitely return. It's an amazing cafe with an interesting decor. I had an excellent French toast, not crazy sweet, but just perfect, and coffee was great as well.
Only grief is that it can be hard to find a parking spot.
m. r.
Delightful experience in decor and friendly service from the Chinta staff. The chilli crab linguini was delicious, as was the Gado Gado. Will be back again soon to try the rest of the menu. Definitely book a few days sooner next time.
C. B.
Went here for lunch with my girlfriends. Excellent place for a meal or just coffee and cake. Vibrant, quirky atmosphere, great coffee, great food, lots of delicious desert choices. Absolutely brilliant service. They also do split billing which makes group bookings so much easier to deal with. Was super busy (Saturday) with queues out the door so make sure to book ahead.
A. C.
Beautiful place, food was amazing
K. W.
Our High Tea today was absolutely awesome! The decor and table setting was beautiful and the food outstanding! Service was friendly and very attentive and the whole ambience that was created made it the perfect place for the gathering of very dear friends. Certainly one of the best High Teas in Perth!
J. M.
Great coffee...the best. Too many plants on tables. While the plants are nice, more of the should be outside. I will come back fr the coffee but ask the waitress to clear my table of plants.
D. P.
Chinta cafe is very popular and can get extremely busy at times. Also you may have to park your car a fair way away as there is not a lot of parking at busy times. Nice place to come for high tea or a casual coffee and cake. Prices are a bit on the high side compared to other cafes with similar quality. Service is prompt however service that I have had on occasions can be quite abrupt when they are busy. You can also wait a little while for service if busy. Otherwise great place to come to enjoy.
C. A.
A great place for asian inspired breakfast or western tastes. Fresh juice, good coffee or a cheeky Bloody Mary or orange champagne thingy. Staff are welcoming and service is great. Parking can be a bit scarce if it's busy.
G. D.
A quiet little place where you can enjoy an extended lunch with friends. Each table has its own space and this allows you to talk without hearing others. The service was well paced allowing us to take our time and enjoy our friends company. The menu had a wide variety of food types and nationalities. Each of us thought our meal was "the best". We will definetely go there again.
D. W.
Fantastic cafe, yummy juice...great little shop on site, picked up a nice gift 😁 recommend booking ahead as very busy. I found staff friendly and no issues adjusting my order for me..will be back 😁👌
M. C.
Always a great place to grab breakfast.
k. s.
Beautiful cafe and amazing food, the service was also fabulous! Will go again for sure to try the High Tea this time!
l. n.
It's a very unique cafe, with it's own distinctive features! A perfect blend of old n new architectural structure and the plants inclusion inside brings with it a cool and calm atmosphere perfect for a cup of coffee or a cool drink on a hot day.😊
M. S.
Waited 30 minutes to get served, a coffee and bloody mary was forgotten. Also rushed to finish 15 minutes before our time was up. Everyone enjoyed their chicken waffles who got them
a. m.
What a gorgeous cafe. The food was amazing and the wait staff were friendly and attentive. Will be going back for the high tea.
J. T.
THE BEST breakfast today for Property Management meeting great service scrumptious breakfast loved it!
A. E.
Best Chai Latte you will ever have. A great place with a vibrant crowd.
M. W.
My daughter took me to lunch today to Chinta.
I am at a loss for adjectives to describe this jewel of a dining experience i n North Perth
Delicious food. Beautiful surrounds , decor and ambience. Service....impecable. I cannot fault this cafe. And it is enhanced by an Aladdins cave of goodies to buy so a scarf and ear rings popped into my bag
This cafe is a my daughters "Go to" place and I'm sure it's going to be mine now.
Bookings essential
P. C.
Wonderful coffee, cake service and ambience. Will be back for lunch.
J. M.
A beautiful place to visit, set in an old garage but now has an Indonesian feel. Top-class service, lovely food and a chilled, happy vibe. Easily one of the best places in Perth.
S. N.
Lovely outdoor setting. I had the Bibi Bap which was amazing, came with chili sauce to spice it up, and a lovely mix of vegetables to go with the rice and meat. Seafood seasoned the fried egg well. My partner had gluten free toast (that was huge!) with creamy scrambled egg and smoked bacon. Only thing I didn't like was the turmeric latte, it was made perfectly well but had a coffee earlier and wanted to try it and it's just not my sort of thing!
F. B.
Food and service were amazing. Unfortunately because it is so incredibly tasty, it is also very popular. This means parking is very difficult, and you often need to park a hundred metres away or more, and on a weekend you often have to wait 10-15 minutes to get a table. I recommend booking, and showing up early to find a park.
A. M. S. C.
Great customer service, very busy place but for a good reason. The decorations are nice and unusual and the menu has different opinions with their touch of different ingredients. The only thing I recommend is to book a table, if you don't, you have to wait and if you get a table it could be booked for someone else and you have to leave the table soon.
A. D.
*COFFEE*
I got to china because it is a local close to home but the coffee is never a drinking temperature when its handed over, today it was so hot it was difficult to even hold the cup comfortably, (very annoying) and the wait is always too long, even when there's no one else around.
Maybe a milk thermometer is needed and some more staff?
s. r.
Good food and coffee bit yuppie very busy for a reason
S. M.
Food was amazing, the venue was so nice. It abuts a souvenir shop which was really nice. The waiter was a little clueless and didn't really know the menu that well. But apart from that, I'd go again and I'd recommend this place to my friends.
E.
5 star service/vibe/interior design/ food
M. B.
Great brunch spot with meals to suit both western and eastern palates.
Highly recommend the nasi campur.
M. Q.
We went for breakfast with hubby, bubb and doggie. It was very busy, people were waiting for tables to become available. We scored a table outside on arrival. I had the Vietnamese pancakes with pork belly and prawns, and it was absolutely delicious! Very very nice. Husband had sourdough, eggs and chorizo, which was good. Service had previously been slower, but yesterday it had improved. Very beautiful venue with a Balinese style and menu. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit!
d. h.
There's no disputing how fantastic the food looks because it looks wonderful. However, we all felt that the food looked far better than it tasted. My Spanish omelette had one flavour, spicy chorizo. The wife's hash stack had an interesting flavour to the pulled pork but the hollandaise sauce and the hash brown were almost flavorless. The coffees were delightful.
P.S. when we walked in at 7.30a.m. only 2 other tables were busy but the staff still had to check if they could seat us because every other table was reserved. That's usually a good sign except the tables were reserved for an hour, or more, in the future. Why not let people sit wherever they want but tell them to leave in an hour. Or, even better, get rid of reservations and be full all the time.
t.
Had a beautiful late brunch today! 😁
A. C.
I really like this place, lovely setting and gift shop. Some changes or additions to the menu would be great.
N.
Pretty good place for breakfast/brunch with some unique menu options.
A bit over the top for me, but I would go back here I think.
Busy as all heck around 10 am so book a table if you can
P. B.
How come we've missed this Gem? Quality presentation. Classy Balinese style. Yummy food.
K. E.
I have been going to Chinta since they were in Scarborough and they have just gotten better and better. The managers never seem to get tired of greeting and serving others. Fantastic staff! Brilliant food. One of the best cafes out.
S. C.
Great service great food 👍 up from me
V. S.
Great setting but very busy, couldn't get a table so sat at the long counter. Good coffee and food.
T. H.
Absolutely stunning decor! Converted Service Station! Check frontage on pics! Good menu and lovely staff. Homewares store as well. Owners work there as well...Lovely people. Was welcomed warmly. However really need to serve vegemite in a pot! More environmentally friendly. Well here again! So lucky to have friends who stayed home on long weekend! So busy! Love this place!
C. H.
On a recommendation my wife & I went to Chinta for a late breakfast. Great recommendation. There's a lot to love about this place not just for the food. Suburb service, relaxing and almost meditational feel (except the excited chatter of food lovers connecting with friends and family) with a Bali vibe. Onto the food - We had (taken from menu) Shark Bay Blue Swimmer Crab Omelette, Lightly scrambled and folded – chilli – lemon – chives & Avo on Toast - Poached Eggs - Seeded sourdough – Avo – Walnut Pesto – Feta – Coriander – Lime. The drinks were perfect for a warm day - Smoothie: Mixed Berry and Rainbow Juice - strawberries – mandarin – apple – Pineapple. We sat outside which isn't licensed however at 11:30am I'm OK with that. Prices are probably on the higher end however the quality and portion size makes that a none issue. We'll definately be back. Chinta-rific :)

A hidden gem. The high tea is divine. However, the waitresses need to actually serve tea and not just give you a cocktail menu. We had to ASK for tea. Service is a bit slack.

Amazing food. Amazing coffee. Great service. Lovely atmosphere and pretty shop inside. Loved it. Parking is a pain but just plan to park down a side street and walk.

Have had many a lunch and coffee and all just brilliant.. Gorgeous tropical Bali setting . Only downfall is the parking as usually full and finding other place to park is a nightmare!!

Atmosphere and overall feel of the venue is really nice. Different to any restaurant and café I would normally visit.
One word: PACKED. SO busy - lucky we had booked and were able to be seated straight away but I don't know if I would wait over half an hour for a table like some in the line were doing.
Our reserved table was upstairs on it's own which was nice to be able to talk but the staff did sort of forget about us up there. We had three different staff members taking orders and twice they got the drinks wrong, forgetting one and bringing up double of another that wasn't ordered. When we asked if the other drinks could come the waitress was clearly flustered and answered rather rudely.
We had to wait about 30 minutes to order food. Chose the noodles, the ravioli, the pulled pork hash, buns, nasi goreng and pork belly. Had to wait 45 minutes for food. My pork hash was cold. Food came out at different times for all of us so some were almost finished and others hadn't started.
Food was tasty and well presented but not necessarily worth waiting almost an hour. Funky atmosphere and central location but loses points for long wait times, not so friendly staff and lukewarm meals.

I was really looking forward to dining here as it ha good reviews. However although the food was nice,it was rather average. Not what I expected. The service was good though.

I love the atmosphere and feel of Chinta, this place holds so many fond memories for me!. Also Chinta is responsible for my love for chicken waffles!

This place was packed out for Saturday brunch, and it’s easy to see why. Built in a converted petrol station and crammed full of funky decor this place has atmosphere and character in spades. Great combined breakfast and lunch menu, with brekky focused on traditional favourites like French toast and variations on eggs benedict and lunch delicious Indonesian and Malaysian dishes. Really friendly and accommodating service, but be prepared to wait a little bit on weekends.

Really nice brunch and reasonably priced. Dined. Very small kids menu but the main menu easily suits children. Some out there good options that actually work really well together. Would recommend.

Fantastic experience. Great coffee, great service and a broad menu. Enjoyed the atmosphere, a little oasis in the suburbs.

Everyone knows the food and drinks here are amazing but sometimes the idea of battling the busy crowds and finding a parking spot is a bit of a put off. We decided to head to Chinta recently and the place was its usual bursting at the seams self but every single staff member we came into contact with was so obliging and yet very efficient. We had a pram with us and were seated within minutes in a spot where we didn't feel in the way. I have never had service as good and to top it off the food and drinks were amazing!
Thank you for such a lovely experience and not making parents with prams feel like second class citizens. I worry we've been spoiled for anywhere else ;)

Can be a bit busy but food and service are both amazing complemented by a beautiful green scenery. Highly recommend

This is a lovely decorated place, however if you want service don't expect it. I have been there 3 times now and will not be going back for that very reason. The service is so slow......waiting, waiting & waiting, we had to wait while 40 woman had to pay individually for a 40th while all other customers had to wait. There are no table numbers, and when paying, is very confusing for the girl at the register. The queues for being seated and for paying your bill is very time consuming. Be careful also where you park as the parking inspectors are always on patrol. Disappointing but I wont be going back and the feedback from other friends are just the same.

Fabulous atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food.

Great themed cafe, and well designed from an old workshop. Nice nic nak shop inside.
Always seems to be busy. Food is very good and still has great variety. Excellent coffee and tea, along with most variations.
Friendly staff. Some patience may be needed when they are busy. Slightly expensive for a cafe, but definitely worth checking out.

Very tasty Avo Smash with Pesto. So fresh and full of flavour. Fantastic unique venue and great staff. Recommend booking as it is very popular. Really interesting menu selection too.

We did the high tea and it was amazing! Staff was very helpful and the pastries are delicious!

Great layout and tropical atmosphere. Brunch is absolutely their specialty with a great range of fresh unique twists on the classics. Service is usually spot on and coffee is good.

Food and service are top-notch, however make sure you reserve a table in advance if you come in with large groups and be prepared for driving around for parking.

Relaxing ambiance with nice music, lovely decoration and various sitting arrangements to suit all personal preferences. Menu quite original and we really enjoyed what we ordered. Good coffee, friendly staff.

Amazing staff and talented chefs. Robyn is an incredible woman which transformed this place in a Balinese style dream cafe. Will be always my nr one coffee place in Perth.

Second time I've eaten here and I have to say it was even better than the 1st.
As you'll see in my reviews I'm a huge fan of eggs Benedict with smoked salmon. Now while they don't offer this on their menu, they do offer all the makings of it.
This morning I went there and ordered poached eggs with ciabatta bread, with smoked salmon and hollandaise.
They bought it all out and I assembled my favourite breakfast and tucked in...
Wow, just wow.
The hollandaise was kind of frothy which seemed odd at first but it had the most beautiful delicate flavour, this combined with the obviously high quality salmon and the perfectly poached eggs and beautiful bread had me exclaiming my satisfaction all throughout my meal, much to my companions amusement.
Cannot recommend highly enough. A definite Perth treat.

I've been stopping here all the time for the honey cake just delicious. Takeaway coffee not as good as further up the road so just sticking to the cake.

Chinta is a quirky place. It's Balinese inspiration is obvious but not overdone. I really enjoy coming here. The food, coffee and smoothies are always top notch. Weekends and lunchtimes they are super busy so be sure to book or be prepared to wait.
S. T.
I love chinta, great food and service. However, I don't like that the vent from the kitchen blows into the dining area because when you leave your clothes smell heavily of cooked food! Can you do something about this chinta?

When you want to slow down and have a quiet meal with gentle service and an eclectic menu, this is the place to go.
Parking is absolutely at a premium during peak times, with many restrictions on the side streets, so share a car, walk or take a cab.

Great place with awesome food inspired by Bali. And for something special try the bloody Mary. Packs a punch.

Describe a better place for brunching. I'll wait...

Interesting place - although the service was somewhat slow and the Pho was full of fatty bad quality meat - I will go back and give it another visit (but not for Pho lol).
The staff were very nice though - especially a young lady called Vanessa.

Lovely setting and presentation all round. Very tasty food and felt healthy. Saved me a trip to Bali!

Beautiful place.lovely food great service.very busy. All of the people I was with had some firm if physical disability at first was worried as a wheelchair and crutches couldn't get thru entrance. Best cafe I've been too.. Amazing food great atmosphere and its very beautiful and relaxed place, you actually don't wanna leave!! Once you have finished you can look around the lil shop in the corner. So definitely recommend going and checking it out

Good food and atmosphere. Didn't like being told twice in 10 mins that there was a 2hr table limit while waiting for a friend to arrive 30 mins in to our brunch.
A. S.
Great place for brunch or something more serious. A retreat from reality with delicious Asian fusion and an interesting warehouse setting
M. F.
Lovely place, every time there I feel like I was in Bali. 🌺

Wow... talk about a brilliant place to lunch with your friends/family/anyone really!
We were a group of 7... service was very attentive and friendly and the menu was gorgeous. We all had food envy switched plates halfway for shares'ies fun.. it was all SO tasty!
My favs were the Benny's buns and the brisquet my partner had. T. A. S. T. Why? Coz they clearly have a passion for what they do. Decor was also brilliant~ cosy, chíc and even attached to a very cool little store with all sorts of Zen delights.
Highly recommend.

My friend told me Chinta was a hella good place to get a toe massage went in and I don’t know what he was talking about. Lots of waitresses kept asking me to put my shoes back on and that you eat the avocado not use it to heal the cracks in my feet. How am I meant to know that?
A. D.
Friendly staff, delicious food beautifully served, nice cocktails and smoothies.
Get there hungry, big portions.
K. L.
Food was nice. They forgot to put our order into there system so I waited 45 mins before asking then another 15mins before receiving any food. They offered us some sparkling water which was a little disappointing and didn't offer any discount on our food and coffee.
S. G.
The warm welcome on a brisk morning was fabulous. Great food with considerate, prompt staff.

Food was excellent very fresh and the service we received was prompt and continue through out the meal. Well done.

Really liked the decor and outfitting. Very impressed with the service. The size of my breakfast was average but sufficient for my needs. I was asked how I wanted my bacon. It was exactly what I asked for.
M. E.
Absolutely fantastic. Terrific food, wonderful people, fantastic coffee. Try it and you'll also see how good it is, but it is very busy so it's best to make a booking
V. L.
Nice ambience, indonesian food choices are actually quite limited. Good service overall

Great move from their old location in Scarborough. The new decor and conversion of the old garage is amazing. Food and coffee is good, decently priced.
Prepare for a lengthy wait on weekends and be aware of parking around the area!
