went for brunch and it was fantastic! we ordered crepes and a panini, both of which were yum. the portion sizes were quite large, which was great. the cafe is so cosy, the air con is set to the perfect temperature and the seating is comfortable and spacious, lovely for a hot summers day. the best part was the customer service, the server was super nice, and the refilling of water cups was definitely appreciated - thank you! the only critique is that the food was a bit basic, but it was still good 😊

I stopped into this cafe for the first time the other day after hearing many good things. Very friendly service, bright and cheerful little cafe. My toasted vege panini was very nice, and the chips were great with a lovely spice or herb mix on them. The coffee was lovely too. Only 1 thing I would say, maybe check the temperature of your coffee machine, because my cappuccino was much hotter than any coffee I have gotten at any other place..

The atmosphere was uncluttered clean and friendly. The staff were wonderful attentive but not pushy. The best part was the food. I had chicken scalopinie and the chicken was so tender that it melted in my mouth and the mushroom sauce was like eating a piece of heaven. Could not fault the meal at all. As the lunch crowd came in it got a little noisy. Was very busy with the lunch rush and this is a good sign. It's on top of my favorites list. Delicious!

Brilliant! I would suggest this is the best breakfast in town, (haven't tried the lunch menu yet), it's the little things that matter, the server bringing water to the table without being asked, (why is this not standard in WA when we get 300 days of sunshine and we need hydration). I asked and was told the business is a mother and daughter run operation and they really do care about customer service. Nice environment, food is exceptional and so well presented, there is never a feeling that the customer is asking for too much ie "jam for my toast" - Yes sir no problem? I will be going here often. also dog friendly outside, but don't spoil it by bringing badly trained barking dogs!!

I have been 3 times now to the Dux Cafe and enjoyed every meal. The staff are so lovely and kind, almost as if they are working for a tip like in other countries. They were attentive and friendly. The menu is delicious, I can't wait to go back and try everything. The outdoor area is so perfect for a casual and relaxed weekend morning breakfast. The coffee was really good too!

I love going to Dux restaurant for breakfast and the friendly staff always make me feel welcome. Often i ask them to swap out items on my breakfast to suit my diet and this is never a problem and they are always happy to help. When i take my dog and/or my kids they are always welcome too. They love the milkshakes. I believe Dux Restaurant is good value for money and offers great customer service!

Just had a perfectly prepared salmon eggs Benedict & afogato. Seamless friendly service by all staff with all the little touches that take a dining experience from good to great - chilled water & newspaper immediately on being seated, fast service, condiments to hand & a final check to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Look forward to my next meal here.

Really quite good. Quiet, neighborhood kind of place. Excellent food. Not cheap -- main course (lamb in two ways) was $40 aus. But you could easily pay more for this quality. Wine excellent and reasonably priced. My buddy got the fish special and it was very solid. Small menu, and I suspect that means they only cook what they can make really well. Very fresh ingredients, and high skill level of cooking. We're planning on going back this week. Staff friendly and helpful. If you are a business guy visiting from US (like me) you will like this place a lot and think it is a great buy. If you are a backpacker, the pizza place across the road is more calories for your dollar. Check the menu before you sit down.
