What a find. Small but nice, as the saying goes. Just wish I had seen the other sign board, before ordering as lots of refreshing salads on offer. Friendly and helpful staff but the boss needs an electronic door to help the staff who are serving customers outside. A contact issue also. Great bagels, slice etc definitely worth a visit because as we know the French are committed to food!

The croissants are actual butter croissants which are handmade and one of the best that I have tasted in a while! This taste and perfection cannot be mimicked by a factory machine. The flavour, texture and flakiness is just amazing and baristas are great too. Great coffee and croissants to start your day with. What more can someone ask for! :)

If you live in Perth metro area and have a craving for truly delicious and authentic galettes - you must go to La Galette ! Their Basque galette was just perfect .... Prosciutto, free range egg, tasty cheese, baby spinach leaves. The pastry selection is also fantastic - they offer petit tarts and eclairs that are just the right size for an afternoon treat. Great service, fantastic food and lovely, authentic French cafe ambience.

Pure deliciousness! First of all it was really difficult to make a choice of what to order because I wanted everything I saw - sweet and savory. At last, I decided to try puff pastry vanilla cake (I think it’s called French vanilla cake) and it was amazing. Perfect cream, taste of vanilla, and texture. I loved it. I also ordered fresh juice. It definitely had a fresh and healthy taste, but beetroot was a bit overpowering. I would definitely recommend this place. Next time, I have to try crepes.

Savoury crepes were good especially the Basque compared to the complete.. coffee was a perfect blend and tried a fruit tart .. now that was epic . Why the 4 stars.. have had better crepe in Perth before. Ambience and service is 10/10

Nice and cozy French cafe. Highly recommend their French Pastries. We ordered chocolate fondant, vanilla slice, pistachios macaron, and chocolate eclair, they’re so delicious. We ate everything too fast n finally remembered to take photo for this yummy French Crêpe. Will come back again soon.

On my struggling search to find decent crepes in Perth I came upon this place. Good selection I opted for the spinach and mushroom savoury crepe. The size was okay, but the filling certain ly didn't touch the edges, grouping in the middle. We sat outside and had to shuffle around because the tables hadn't been cleared or wiped down. We might have caught them off guard, but it wasn't busy at all and I reckon they could do better, but this occasion it was a very average experience.

I love that their pot of tea is a very generous size. At some cafes you can only just get one cup from the pot, but La Gallette is not one of them. The food is good too.

Had a really yummy spinach feta roll here today, washed down with a creme brulee and choc eclair which we shared. Very moorish food although not sure how genuinely French... was hoping the flavours would transport me back to Paris but fell a bit short. Good prices. Friendly service. Shame they don't have more seating in winter though but obviously limited by shop size.

Wow!!! I ordered petit fours and mini Mille-feuille for a very important event to remember my dad's favorite dessert and it was the best I've eaten. All my guests were so amazed by the authenticity of the cakes. Definitely recommend La Galette de France if you want authentic French patisserie.

I agree that their croissant is one of the best in Perth! Last time, I tried their crepes and I love it! The sweet and sour were balanced perfectly. Great service and all their food are tasty.

I used to go to this place when it was at the other end of Nedlands. I was disappointed when I went back to UWA for post grad ten years later and it had gone, then I was delighted to find it still exists in a new location. Good coffee, but the french pastries and crepes are what you go for. The almond croissant is one of the best in Perth, and the first place in Perth I could get one all those years ago (they're everywhere now). Delicate brioche, perfect crepes, petite pastries busting with caramelized flavours for those who can't take on the full sized job. These people know what they're doing and the staff are on the ball. Should be a first choice for anyone looking for coffee and cake in Nedlands. Prices are fairly reasonable for a place this fancy too, or maybe it's not exactly fancy, there's quite a home-kitchen vibe, just authentically French and well put together.

Just got back from France and thought I was still there when I walked into this cafe. The food options and displays very inviting, fresh and tasty! The staff are so friendly and engaging and you are made to feel very welcome. The cafe is small but very bright and cheerful. Love this place!!

Great little french cafe! Croque madame was excellent, top notch bread (which you can buy by the loaf). Millefuelle and macaroons were awesome too! Got a mini one takeaway and almost walked right back for another. Will definitely be back soon! Merci beaucoup!

The most superb coffee I've tasted in Perth - it actually tasted of coffee. (Great for anyone who prefers their coffee to consist of coffee and water and nothing else). Combine with proper, authentic croissants and you could be the other side of the world.

Delicous, and I love the French cuisine, atmosohere, and staff! I do love going. Only downside - not open long enough. A 3pm closing time is more accurately 2:45pm, as it's not uncommon to be refused service even for those who might just want a display counter pastry. :(

Sensational. Was bidding my MK5 VW Gold 2.0 Litre Turbo Diesel in Grigio Ferro spec farewell and dropped in here during the final grand tour. We ordered a couple of savoury crepes and to say they were authentic and stunning is an understatement. Also BYO, so dropped into the bottle-o nearby and got some bears. I somehow ended up wearing the first bear due to my excitement. I have also had a croque-monseiur here previously and it was magical. If you are ever in the area, do yourself a favour and avoid the UWA flogs and drop in here.
