P. H.Good coffee. Really good service. I was in Perth for a week and by the second day they knew my order and asked for my name. They have a great selection of treats and lunch wraps. The coffee is not bad as well. I order a ristretto and it was served with chilled sparkling water. The blend didn’t have as many sweet tones as I like but overall it was really good. I would definitely recommend this place.

I chose to try max + sons as it had the longest queue which after walking past many coffee shops is a sign people are willing to wait. The shop had a lovely, light and clean atmosphere. As I waited it was clear all the staff were happy and engaging despite the morning rush. The barista even got chatting with me as his hands worked furiously around the machine and eyes scanned the dockets.
Prices were average for Perth but they had a nice selection of milk alternatives.
My soy fw was smooth, worked well with their chosen soy and was easy drinking, maybe a little too easy. Their Fiori blend is a nice crowd pleaser.
I shall return to try their espresso and long black for further comparison another time. But after this 1 experience I would recommend to swing through for a pick me up.
S. M.I loved their coffee the first time I ordered from them. The second time, my cappuccino was rather flat. Still, one of my favourite places to get my morning coffee. Conveniently located next to the train station too.

Coffee was fab, and they even gave me a free veggie burrito after I realized I had ordered a wrap that had chicken in it — they insisted on replacing my meal even though the mistake was entirely mine. D. R.Friendly staff, fantastic coffee, of several available brew types, including excellent batch brew and cold brew. Loads of amazing raw food stuffs, delicious donuts made by a French patissier, and amusingly named sandwiches, rolls and bagels.
C. G.Mike the barista makes the best coffee, and always has great customer service. The decor of the cafe is smart and stylish and the white powder coated Synesso is one of the best looking machines I've seen. If I was close, this would be my local.

B.I had a bit too much Christmas cheer last night and was looking for the greasiest, fattiest, most bacon-y thing I could jam down short of a piglet. The staff at Max + Sons came to the rescue with beef brisket in a brioche bun!
It was, without exception, the FINEST THING I've ever eaten post-bender. We're talking smokey beef brisket. We're talking slaw. We're talking some kind of holy barbecue sauce swiped from the table of Dionysus himself!
Now imagine these three things smashed between two halves of a tasty brioche bun, and ironed to perfection. Mucho bueno!
