Just started eating this eggs and butter pumpkin smash and had to take a photo so I could let everyone know it’s delicious!!! The staff here are so friendly and the food comes out so quick. Best service. 10/10 and great place to get some work done.
C. B.
Looking for a unique ambient and style cafe this is your spot. Great location
Funky interior
Order at the bar with table service
Menu is rather small but all is organic and freshly made
Toast with egg and bacon, 2 cappuccino for 35$
D. V.
Cute little coffee place. Outdoor seating is dog-friendly. They don’t have puppacinos but they’ll happily do up a little cup of milk and coconut cream. They have really nice cheesecakes too.
D. O. S.
First rate food and great service. Nice twist on the usual suspects like pancakes and crumpets. Became my local while working in Freo. Soy Coffee is great too.
E. O.
The first cafe I wanted to support once the mandates have been lifted. Glad to be back here for breakfast. The food is always fresh and the service is always friendly.

We had our wedding at Moore and Moore in November 2021.
The venue is stunning, the staff are lovely to work with and we had the most incredible night.
We had a huge number of guests (the bride included) with dietary requirements and these were catered for with ease. We also had a delicious dessert table included, which went down a treat!
Including a wedding coordinator with the venue ensures all other vendors for the day have a point of contact and a guide for all the set up.
We had so much of the organisational stress removed thanks to Vanessa and the excellent team.
As this is a working Art gallery, there will be art of the walls and it's a surprise as to what you get. We were incredibly lucky to find out the day before the art was matched to our colours perfectly! I do believe you can confirm who the artist will be in the weeks leading up to you event. But we thought it was all part of the fun of getting married surrounded by art.
We had a lot of guests (115) and there was plenty of rom to walk around the 4 long tables, with a separate dance floor and bar area - but this venue would suit a small intimate event as well as you can choose which of the rooms to utilise.

Don’t waste your stomach space on the savoury muffin that was extremely crumbly and supposedly their best seller. I reckon they do better brunches than bites. Coffee was average at best.

After checking out the 5 star reviews, I had high hopes for this establishment.
Great service by friendly staff. There’s a play area for kids and younger kids. Beautiful decor inside - they’ve definitely put some effort in to being a ‘trendy’ yet quaint joint.
Unfortunately, some of the food plates we ordered weren’t up to scratch. It was also hugely expensive (the extras were extortionate...).
We ordered the banana hotcakes for the kids. They brought out just one pancake. The coffee was great though.
Overall, it was nice. Nice but too expensive.

Great place with great spaces.
Menu is delicious, although doesn’t change much.
Coffee is good too.
I’ve been to industry networking events and business networking breakfast here and the food always tasted fresh. The food consistency is very good.

encapsulates what freo is all about: old warehouses and furniture turned chic, weird paintings that probably have some deep meaning and great food. the whole place has a relaxed vibe, and the flavours of the dishes are tasty.

Fabulous place and amazing staff. Remember all businesses are doing it tough right now, but not all business are equal - Simon is an amazing business owner and supporting local causes and community focused - so when deciding where to spend your hard earned cash, choose this place as they are more than just a cafe, this is an ethically run business which welcomes everyone and supports positive community attitude.

Dropped in for a bite on the way past this afternoon and was blown away. Lovely service, great decor and stunning food. I so loved the salad I had for lunch, I bought more for dinner. Totally scrumptious. Well done lovely people. I will find it hard not to drive the 20+kms to Fremantle, just for Moore again soon.
T. L.
We love Moore and Moore Cafe, it’s such delicious, great food, awesome, friendly service, unique and yummy drinks. We were served my the sweetest girl Nermala! Has the best vibe, met some outstanding people while we were there. The space is really beautiful as well!
An all round excellent place to eat, sit, relax and enjoy the moments of life. Highly recommend this cafe! 20 stars out of 10 for everything. Go check this place out!

As I stepped in this morning, 'Great Scotch!', I felt like I was time travelled back to the year 1844, that is 177 years ago when the Moore building was constructed. I was so amazed at the architecture of this building and the Colonia characteristic of the building. Moore cafe is just part of the Moore building and is interconnected to the exhibition or gallery hall. The art exhibition is on. 'Fantastic!' is all I can say. The nice coffee was made from the Leaf bean. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. I like this building. Cheers! (2021-06)

What a cute little place! I love it. We had the pumpkin smash on toast with the BEST dirty chai latte. The food was so yummy and well presented. It was a shame that we couldn't dine in the gorgeous courtyard, due to the covid restrictions, however we would still return and eat here again. They also have a selection of cakes with GF and vegan options.
A. I.
Had a blast here with afternoon tea in Moroccan style! Especially the savory ones taste great, love the baked chickpeas and cheese dishes. The courtyard seating was very lovely and you will love to visit the gallery next door after lunch.
M. L.
OMG, what a delight we found down an alley. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Gorgeous staff. The courtyard at the back is divine, so much to look at. Overindulged somewhat, Hotcrossbun French toast drizzled with liquid chocolate with coconut cream..My friends enjoyed their choices. You gotta check this place out.
K. L.
We came for a beautifully presented moroccan high tea at Moore & Moore.
We were seated in a beautifully little courtyard which was so nice on a sunny day. The tea and food was great. The desserts were gluten free, which is good for dietary requirements but we didn't need that. The staff were nice and friendly.
Y. A.
Really enjoyed the food, service and the ambiance of this place.
Food tasted very different to standard options you see everywhere, and we loved it. The art and overall design of the place was great too.
The only cons: Please provide scrambled eggs option as well, as some people cannot have lose eggs. I was told Poached and fried were the only options, which was a bit upsetting.
A. S.
Moore & Moore of this please! this place ain’t just a cafe it’s a complete sensory experience. From the spectacular interior design to the delicious breakfast options Moore & Moore hits the spot! Lovedddd the coffee too.
c. B.
Love this place!!! Great vibe and yummy food 😋
Can’t wait to go back!!!!
M. B.
Yummy food, great staff and great attitude.
We try to go there as often as we can. It's so important to support businesses like that.
k. a.
Friendly professional service with good fare of food in ambient surroundings. Would recommend this place to one's who have time and company at hand.Gave 4 star only because of parking hassles which is in no fault of the establishment.
E. S.
Frequented this Cafe many times and love the atmosphere of it. The food is always delicious. Having tried the vegan nachos, vegetable panini and bircher muesli, they are all delicious. The chocolate chai is also the best
M. S.
Great beautiful venue just in the heart of fremantle with super amazing decor and secret garden at the back. Every little corner of this place has something going on and gives great vibes. Food itself was terrific, spot on, full of flavours and perfectly plated 🌸. Food is lil pricey but worth it. Lovely staff, friendly service. Well done guys 🌺
b.
Great ambiance, eclectic decor enhances its rustic look. Has a play area for little kids. Great to gather and catch up. The food is a little pricey with very small portions. A little annoyed that they don't have lactose free milk not everyone can have the soy or almond alternative.
S. E.
Was treated to this delectable Moroccan high tea. Make sure you book in advance for an exquisite high tea with a twist. All locally sourced fresh produce, a must try.
C. M.
Table seating system set up for staff and doesn't work well for customers!
Find your table 1st then order often leads to tables taken by the time you've ordered.
Have had issues a few times and staff pretty rude when I bring the problem of their table system to their attention.
Besides that the place is great.
J.
So quirky. I especially like the back area with the trees & funky furniture. Truly delish food!!🍳🥗🍅
K. H.
Great service very helpful and friendly people food great
W.
Great little venue. Half funky cafe and half art gallery.
The menu consists of mostly breakfast items and it’s served until close (around 2:30pm) there are also a few great lunch options as well.
The food here is always great! Fresh breads, seasonal produce and unique flavour combos. I had the pulled beef burger on Turkish bread and it was awesome!
Oh, no liquor licence FYI, so order one of their great coffee and enjoy the tranquil courtyard out the back!
There is also a neat little play area in the back corner to keep the kids preoccupied.
S.
This place is unique. They had live music at the door. There is both inside and outside seating. The food is so yummy. This place has a character of its own and is worth visiting over and over again!
E. S.

Moore and Moore is a stand out café in cosmetics Fremantle. The food and service is consistently high, providing a welcoming and relaxed ambience to all who enter. It is our go-to place when in Fremantle as we support diversity and inclusion for all
B. D. W.
Relax for a coffee while browsing the art gallery. You'll love the courtyard!
E. L.
Food need some improvement. Great staff and place otherwise
S. B.
Nice spot! Lots of seating! Flat white was average- very milky!
E. M.
What a treat! Dropped in for brekky after an early morning appointment. First, the location--coverted warehouse with high ceilings and very cool textured brick walls. There's also a lovely shaded courtyard in the back.
It's industrial but inviting.
Next, the food--hubby had eggs bene and I had the pancakes with fresh fruit. Eggs were very fresh and the fruit included fresh plums. Good coffee and kudos for having almond milk and Stevia for those non-dairy, non-sugar folks.
Lastly, the service was friendly and efficient.
Will definitely return. We left wanting "more" from Moore & Moore Cafe!
d. h.
Any place that has carved chess boards and a space heater next to a water wheel made of old coffee cups had better have the food to March the promise. This place delivered in spades.
The coffees were delicious and at the right temperature to be able to sip without burning or gulping. Well done, far too often baristas make coffees below 65C, which makes it too easy to gulp down the coffee rather than sip it and savour the flavour. As a bonus they serve Chai Latte, made from spices not powder or syrup, in tea pots.
We had scrambled eggs on toast, pancakes with caramel sauce and walnuts, and poached eggs. The pancakes were exquisite while the caramel was perfection. The scrambled eggs were beautiful to look at and also to taste. The poached eggs must have been rinsed because they had no vinegary aftertaste.
Having eaten her many times before it was a welcome treat to find the food and service are as good as ever.
S.

Very lovely place! The food is delicious, great atmosphere and nice coffee!
We had the eggs benny and chilly eggs. Didn’t had to wait at all on our order.
The interior is and old fisherhouse and they did nice job to keep the feeling.
Will definitely come again!
E. L.
Quirky cafe with lotsa seating.
Pancakes were fluffy and the coconut cream complements the pancakes so well.
Had the pull beef burger, beef were juicy and tender.
Coffee was great too!
J. S.
Very cute place, great oat milk coffee. Lovely vibe, especially when it's not heaving! Great vegan food too. ☺️
M. D. S.
Amazing food along with customer service a beautiful place to relax.

M.
My wife and I love this cafe, amazing food and great atmosphere, the location is prime, shaded outside seating and cool inside seating available.
S. K.
Good stuff!
R. W. (.
Beautiful cafe & friendly staff. Unfortunately for the price of the set, there weren't enough serves for everyone in our group so some missed out or only had a small bite to share.
M. S.
Paid parking directly out front, 10 min walk from Fremantle Station, in the heart of Freo. Looks to be wheelchair friendly from what I could see. If you look out for their red sign it is easy enough to find. They have a variety of different seating areas some even in the Art Gallery which connected to the place. The outdoor seating down the back is perfectly shaded for sunny weather. The place is really well kept and has an appropriate heritage Freo warehouse vibe & matching decor. In my experience the food looks and tastes amazing. I had the Pulled Beef burger and it was a good size with a delicious salad. Did not have to wait to long for the food, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
P. B.
Great food & setting. Very eclectic. Love it. Staff super friendly & helpful. Returned the next day for breakfast.
S. H.
Came here with a group of friends for brunch. They brought out our food very quickly! Very fast and efficient.
Did however forget our coffee orders so we had to ask for them again after we'd finished our meals - that's the only reason for a 4 star.
D. O.
Beautiful location with outdoor seating options. Food was ok. We had the vegan nachos and tomato and basil dumplings. Dumplings were more like meatball texture than what you'd expect from a 'dumpling'. Nachos were ok but nothing special. Would eat here again but try some other options.
M. D.
Taste - Would I return to this place for the taste? Yes!
Value for Money (VfM) - I think so. The meals are not overly expensive and the taste certainly justifies the price.
Staff (friendliness, promptness) - Friendly staff.
Atmosphere (busy, seating, if N/A then taste will inherit weighting) - Good atmosphere. Rustic for those who love it.
EFTPOS (credit cards, bank card) - Yep!
J.
Great setting, good food, the wait can be long, hence not 5 stars. They warned us 30 minutes, but it was an hour - so if your not hangry - or it's not peak times definitely try it.
F. W.
Food tastes good. Good atmosphere.
S. R.
Great breakfast / brunch spot. Chilled artsy ambience. Friendly staff. And importantly great coffee and food!
T. L.
Lovely friendly staff, quick service even when they are busy and an amazing relaxed atmosphere perfect for breakfast lunch or dinner! Food was an amazing quality and definitely good for the price!
T. L.
A very laid back cafe to relax and a good coffee. The setting is very nostalgic. Good for group gathering or alone. The staff is very friendly.
B. P.
Great child friendly place with play area and water feature to entertain kids. The food is generous with sides and salads. Great service too
B. H.
Best Soy Dirty Chai in a pot I've had ! Plus bkfast mushrooms were soòoooo good
I. S.
I discovered this spot just by passing by and I'm glad I did. Such a great range of vegan and non vegan dishes to chose from. I had the mash and it was super tasty!! The courtyard was really relaxed with enough shade and the right vibe for a relaxed afternoon. I totally recommend this place for just a coffee or a catch up with mates. Don't forget to check the gallery out too!
B. A.
Cosy and friendly place. It does get busy at the back but they've got plenty of seats inside one of the rooms. There's outdoor seating as well with lots parking at the next street. I had avo on toast wasn't a big fan of a whole avo. Will come back to try other items on their menu.
M. t. B.
Having been here on a Sunday, we have had to wait for a table with all the hussle and bussle but today there was no wait (still busy-ish). Service was friendly and lively, food came out pronto and deserves 6 stars. We will be back again. #vegobreaky
M.
Delicious. Always a pleasure. Great breakfast menu. Just had salmon and poached eggs with goats cheese and avo. Very tasty. Recommended
J. G.
Great location. Lovely food too. Extremely busy on the weekends. The place itself it's unique.
K. D.
Enjoyed lunch at this eclectic venue. Friendly service. Recommend.
K. W.
As always. We always come here when visiting the city. Menu options are fantastic as well as coffee and drink Menu. Check out the artis exhibition wonderfull
M. H. T.
Absolutely in love with this place. Wonderful rustic decor, extremely lovely and helpful and I enjoy all the food and drinks, especially the filthy chai pot!
S. B.
Nice spot! Lots of seating! Flat white was average- very milky!
K. L.
It's very unique and beautiful place. The food also special and delicious.
K. C.
Very nice little Cafe with interesting interior and great food. Me and my partner used to go here for lunch all the time when we both worked in Fremantle.
My mom loves going here for breakfast with her friends every other weekend. Highly recommend to check this small cafe out.
g. j.
Great food and services. Very art vibe which brings life to the art and food here. Defo recommend a stop by if your taking a walk around Freo
K. P.
A great spot in Freo for a nice coffee and breakfast or lunch. Great food and atmosphere. Plenty of healthy options, pastries, and vego options too!
J. R.
Gorgeous lunch atmosphere, we shared The Moore Bowl, with grilled Haloumi.
P. v. R.
Our toddler was amused here even on a very wet, cold day. Part of the outside play area had canvas sails. Good nappy change facilities. Food and coffee was fine, tbh I was too busy watching the toddler to pay much attention.
A. R.
I don't normally write negative reviews, but I have been coming here on and off mainly for coffee over the course of 1.5 years (due to the close proximity to uni) and the attitude of some staff members is disappointing. The 3 stars are for the ones who are friendly. The food is good, but I really can't see past the bad attitude of some staff. I work in hospitality too so I empathise with how tiring it can be, but if you can't even smile or feel the need to be snarky with customers, find another industry. Today was the final straw. I will be foregoing my morning coffee instead of returning again.
K. M.
I come here at least twice a week and love the atmosphere, but after some time I have noticed the food is very hit or miss. I absolutely adore the slow cooked burger (never fails) but dishes such as the green wrap are a little dull and very expensive (again, not all of them). I love their pre-made sweets in the fridge, which are very reasonable in price.
As for the coffee, usually it is amazing. Sometimes it is a little too bitter but I believe this has been in peak periods (which happens). My only dislike in the barista service is that it can be very slow at times, so be prepared to wait!
Overall, great place :))
J.
So quirky. I especially like the back area with the trees & funky furniture. Truly delish food!!🍳🥗🍅
D. F.
We meet here as part of District 32 business networking for or fortnightly meeting and love it. Great food, fabulous service and quirky setting.
B. S.
Best place to have breakfast in town 💘
N. L.
Had some of their vegan cakes and they were perfect. Saw lots of great vegan options on the menu too. Look forward to coming here again in the future.
D. C.
A great place for friends and family. Bohemian artistic space
M. S.
Amazing breakfast at a good price coupled with fantastic coffee and service.
Head for the back for a little courtyard dining.
M. M.
The pistachio cake I had was absolutely beautiful and good coffee too. I also love being able to meander the gallery after a meal. My only critique is that the lady who took our order at the register seemed to be a little disinterested or not wanting to be there. Otherwise very pleased.
L. H.
Awesome food. Pork belly salad was devine. Dog friendly courtyard. Excellence service and interesting art.
S. B.
Second time we've been here for breakfast, which was delicious and full of flavour in a rustic and hearty kind of way. The venue is beautiful and the staff were warm and friendly. Could not have asked for a better experience.
T. F.
An absolute must visit when in Freo. Love the space, atmosphere, food and staff. We had the salmon for breakfast and it was amazing!
R. T.
Enjoyed a great breakfast with plenty of GF options we'll be going back!
A. W.
We had our first clean plate club of the week which is far and few between with our two year old. Pancakes, Eggs Royale, avocado and toast. They had a Turmeric Latte which always makes my wife’s day.
S. R.
The place is a must go to if you are visiting Fremantle. It's just amazing
E. L.
Food need some improvement. Great staff and place otherwise
J. P.
This venue was amazing for a special wedding I was a guest at. Staff absolutely amazing, food delicious and the setting out of this world, just so personal you thought you were in your own lounge. Thank you Moore and Moore.
T. T. S.
Shout out to Gabrielle and the team. We had our Christmas party in the weekend here and it was one of the best to date. Communication across the lead up and the night was awesome and very easy to get along with. Staff were amazing on the night and very accomidating to the event. Food was awesome and the vibe was just right. We look forward to coming back for future events and wish these guys all the best. Thanks crew
B. D. W.
Relax for a coffee while browsing the art gallery. You'll love the courtyard!
D. Z.
A highlight of our trip. Love Egg Bunny with organic WA Bacon, great coffee and amazing vibe.
N. L.
Fantastic spot to grab a coffee and relax in the sun. Great menu with a lot of GF options as well.
T.
Awesome large cafe/art gallery space. Food very nice. Got a chai latte, tasted like warm milk, not great chai. Great range of food and treats though.
S. K. W.
Their mains and coffee is good ❤ recommended to avoid the crowd at 10am to 11am :)
G. O.
Very nice, quiet place for breakfast. Food is great!
l. a.
this place was amazing, the free range GMO eggs are some of the best i have ever had. will definitely go back
K. R.
Delicious vegan nachos and oat milk latte. 😋
M. M.
the pumpkin thing that I order is delicious..the other one is just a chip
M. F.
Really showcases the spirit of Fremantle. You will find unique items on the menu that are seasonal and sustainable. They are different to what you'll find in the Perth metropolitan in a way that is refreshing. There is an art gallery attached which has some awesome series too, well worth a visit.
周. K. W. C.
Wonderful setup. Have live jazz music in the morning.
R. M.
Usually love this place. But it was busy today and they didn't manage the busyness that well. The vegan Nachos were disappointing.
C. H.
Beautiful space and community vibe. The food is beyond delicious, great coffee. My kids particularly enjoyed the nature scape playground. One of my favorite places in Freo
W. V.
Great ambiance, service, coffee and brekky! Lovely place for a coffee or a meal. Plenty of seating but the courtyard is best. Discount for own takeaway drink cup. 5th star when they're fully vegan! 😜 😁
Edited to praise the courtyard though it's been some time since my last visit!
J. H.
Great service, the food was spectacular. A cozy place to have brunch.
D. “. S.
This place is actually the best! Coffee is good, food is good staff are friendly and there are so many quirky areas to sit and enjoy a cup of Jo! It's also attached to a children's bookshop and has swings and all things kids love to play with
F. C.
Really nice flat white carefully brew by a true barista.
Didn’t try the food but will look forward to it.
D. B.
Funky relaxing cafe, friendly staff. Read the paper and enjoy a snack. Nice.....
A. S.
Really really good food!!!!!! The dishes are big and filling . The restaurant is an actual garden and a gallery . The environment was relaxing and beautiful. Everything on the menu was delicious. It's a bit expensive but worth it.
The only problem I found was finding parking.
Thank you , will be back :)
B. S.
Yum yum yum!!!! We've enjoyed quite a few breakfasts & lunches over the last couple of years; & today we had the Maroccan High Tea - Delicious! The very best high tea in Perth - YUM!!!! Can't wait to return, won't be long!
K. H.
Great service very helpful and friendly people food great
C. R.
I felt a bit uncomfortable sitting under the old suspended flooring with people walking over the floorboards, there's gaps in between. My friends chilli eggs weren't really chilli eggs either, more like normal eggs and a small side of what looked like chilli salsa, it lacked some creativity.
I liked the food though and I've been back here a few times. There is friendly service too.
B. B.
This is best described as a weird and wonderful place. Crammed into the alley of ancient warehouses in Fremantle's old port district, it's a strange kind of fantastic. I only had take away coffee and a croissant, which were lovely but I'm intrigued to go back. Dining at both ends of the alleyway and a few chairs inside. Very hipster.
J. B.
Great venue in the heart of Fremantle, mostly tucked away off the street and some seating within the adjacent art gallery! Good menu, the Orange, Pumpkin & fennel salad was an absolute highlight. Fast service, funky surrounds. Definitely recommend this cafe.
R.
This place is so cool. So funky. Great food and great coffee
J. J.
Great character in this place!. Attended a wedding & was impressed by the helpful friendly staff and great food. My dietary needs were acknowledged well and I was well catered for. Highly recommend dropping in when you are in Freo.
A. M.
Great breakfast spot, courtyard is fun, funky but relaxing - great for kids too. Gets pretty busy at weekends, so either try and book or be prepared to wait. The menu can sound a bit 'hipster' but the food is great and the combinations offered all work well. Trust them, they seem to know their stuff. Fresh leaf tea, great coffee too. Brekkie, Brunch or Lunch - ideal spot.
L. M.
Awesome place, cool vibe. Outdoor seating could use a few more cushions. I had fresh lemongrass and ginger tea, but it didn’t taste that fresh nor infuse too well. Also got a supposedly cold pressed juice, it was tasty but separated so not cold pressed.
B. V.
The quality of food and it's ambiance keeps bringing us back. The food options are excellent and every dish showcases the care put in to preparation. The staff here is very efficient, friendly and service is excellent. A big plus for us is that our pet dog is welcome here.
C. S.
A haven in the summer, big spaces indoors or secret garden spaces out the back & a gallery upstairs.
Good food & a great place to unwind. Love it
E. K.
Breakfast is delish and the decor is so fun! We loved it so much we got married there Haha and it was such a good experience - everything went smoothly and had so many guests rave about the venue and food :)
E. G.
Wonderful brunch here yesterday. Had the Bowl of Moore with added halloumi. Sustained me all day. Mum had eggs Benny with mushies and was equally satisfied. Beautiful atmosphere and greenery. Quiet seating out the front. Lovely staff. 100% recommend.
S. L.
I love it. Nice ambience, lovely people, good music, sometimes live music and great coffee, cakes and other snacks. Vegan, gluten free and raw available. Sit inside or outside at the front. There's a lovely and quiet shaded back yard outside area as well where you can hang out among the Notre Dame students. You can also visit the regularly changing exhibition right next to the Cafe. However it's not the cheapest of Cafes when you're thinking of having breakfast or lunch there.
M. F.
One of my favourite weekend breakfast spots!
D. J.
Brilliant food and coffee! Staff very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere and decor. Only fault is that the place is so busy that the coffee comes out a little late with food...but a busy cafe' is a good sign, so that's just being nit-picky. Highly recommend as a must do when is Freemantle!
K. C. (.
This is a great little cafe. Well decorated with an ambience that invites "chatting". The food and cakes are excellent. At times they have lice music. A regular coffee spot for me.
C. S.
Great coffee and breakfast.
While the food is upbeat in style, the avo, tomato, pesto on 7grain toast was very well presented and tasted great. Not to heavy and not to light to start the day. Price is about average and I did enjoy the caramel latte coffee.
A. T.
Jenna and the team at Moore and Moore Cafe played a huge part in the success of our wedding day - we had a cocktail style reception at the venue and it was an absolutely fantastic evening; food was delicious, staff were attentive, drinks were plenty and the dancefloor was raging. Cannot recommend this place enough - thank you!
F. W.
Food tastes good. Good atmosphere.

Really great breakfast place, most items on the menu seem geared more towards breakfast but if youre a fan of all day breakfast then this should suit you.
Really quite a big cafe with lots if different tables to choose from so its not cramped at all.
The food is really well done and some of the items might sound like an odd combo but they work just right.
S. M.
Attended the Our Country artwork exhibition, first time at this awesome place.
J. D.
Awesome space with art, garden, great coffee and very good brekkie/brunch
S. P.
For a wedding reception... great space. Delicious food! Friendly, happy staff.
The only issue - no dance floor - and the space allocated is a bumpy concrete floor. We had an older member of the party fall backwards, quite a dampener on the evening.
A. C.
The red velvet latte was delicious! If you need your caffeine intake, then the red velvet latte isn't for you. The caramel slice was probably the best one I've had in all of Perth! The place looked really interesting but I took my latte to go so I can't comment on the actual facilities.
R. C.
Great indoor and outdoor venue but food choices are very bread-centric and dry. We needed lots of liquid to wash ours down! Almost every meal seemed to be served with lots of bread - why?? Bread isn't healthy or a wholefood. Despite having healthy wholefood deserts and great coffee, the menu choices are very much a letdown.
T. P.
My favourite cafe! Quirky, comfortable and undeniably cool, this cafe has great service, fresh, tasty food and delicious drinks. I have yet to take someone there who doesn't immediately fall in love with the place.
b. m.
Excellent, delcious breaky, gluten free sourdough with fried eggs and chutney. Service super friendly. Beautiful art on display.
J. P.
I can only imagine that Lei Zhang was dreaming when he wrote his review! This cafe is fabulous. Tucked away. We sat in the Courtyard and had an excellent breakfast, juices and coffees. Service friendly. Very relaxing. We will be back again.
N. O.
got any tomato sauce? ill deport ya
K. H.
Loved the space, the staff, not too mention the smashed avo with sauerkraut and the delectable cakes. Wonderful cafe
B. P.
Fantastic spot in the heart of Fremantle for a group breakfast. The delicious food paired with the heritage building and art gallery attached provides a lovely warm atmosphere. The food here is always incredible. The one thing that could be improved is that you need to line up and pay at the till for your meals – this can be tedious and annoying when you’re in a large group.
l. p.
Food was ok very small portion and there was barely hollandaise sauce in the eggs benedict
j. m.
Great selection of all types of food, standard, raw and vegan.
Food tastes amazing.
Great outdoor sitting area (they put a roof over in winter) and funky indoors.
Art gallery next door and upstairs that's part of the cafe.
Fabulous..
N. C.
I ordered the Potato Cake with poached eggs, truffle, asparagus with a side extra of bacon. All I can say is that it was amazing, and despite feeling quite full by the end of the meal, I felt kinda sad it came to an end. It was really delicious and for the most part, healthy as well.
If you're are looking for a filling breakie without the guilt, I suggest ordering the potato cake from this place
t. s.
One of the best vegan breakfast I ever had to say it was to die for won't make it justice!!! And that chai leaves almond latte...oh gosh simply great food!!!
A special thanks to the staff who permitted me and my family to sit inside, just as you walk in, with our dog in a rainy day, that was priceless ❤
A. C.
Good food in an old warehouse type setting, variety of seating a cool vibe. Chilli eggs were very good but eggs benny could have done with a bit more hollandaise.
R. F.
The setting is nice but the food is nothing special. Waited a long time and they forgot dishes but it wasn't worth the wait. The dishes they forgot were thrown together and we didn't enjoy the experience.
O. P.
The first time we felt we drank proper loose leaf chai in a pot. Perfect portion of milk & water. Vegan nachos was pretty good too! Beautiful courtyard.
V. A.
We got married here last Saturday. Their customer service is very smooth, well organised & responsive! They are very generous and accompanying of what we would like for our wedding reception. We only have met the event managers- Jacqui & Manuela- few times as we live interstate but we always felt like we knew them very well! Beautiful food, beautiful people & beautiful interior design! Thank you so much Moore & Moore for being the most perfect vendor!! - Vanessa & Jason xx
G. C.
This cafe is situated in an art gallery, so has a great vibe about it. I only ordered coffee so not sure what the food is like, but the coffee was great. Heaps of different places to sit, from couches to big round tables. It's located opposite Notre Dame uni so gets lots of uni students there.
J. M.
I love this place. Freo is full of good cafe's but for me this is the best. Good menu, cool staff, great decor. There's always something interesting going on in the art gallery next door too.
P. D.
Very nice, reminds me a bit of Cafe Nero chain which is quite popular in Europe. Cosy place, check out the galleries in the attic. Inner patio gives you a bit of a shield from street noise. Closes fairly early in the afternoon but it's ok to hang around longer
F. A.
Absolutely brilliant layout and real cool feel,, a placed you must go to and have a coffee and enjoy it's vib the coffee was spot on,
F.
Lots of stuff to look at, table on a Singer sewing table stand, old tractor seats for chairs, teacup water wheel, two kid play areas old nut cracker, and contemporary art exhibit; but we waited over 30 minutes for 2 coffees and a croissant, so not a place to go to if you underestimate the time you will spend there (and with Fremantle's street parking rates every half hour counts!). This said, I would return.
I. G.
Yummy breakfast. Some different choices on the menu rather than usual offerings. Love the set up of various rooms and outdoor area. Coffee very good. Some guys playing live music on a few occasions I've been thete.
K. E.
Could not speak higher of this Cafe! we not only love visiting whenever we can for the great food, coffee and service but also had our wedding there! the Staff are amazing and so great to work with. the venue speaks for itself and the food could not be more delicious. 10/10 moore and moore made our wedding the Greatest day we could of hoped for !! and was one of the best priced venues we came across aswell!!
Z. H.
The atmosphere of the old building combined with some rustic and military surplus look and feel makes Moore & Moore cozy and welcoming. The food is great!
H. 9.
Not the best place for lunch but nice for breaky. Gets packed when uni students come in. The coffee isn't the best I have tasted but their chai is quite good. Sadly the bacon they serve is also quite bland and dry so suggest not to have it on the side.
L. A.
Nice food, even though it would be nicer if there were more organic options. Loved organic Bircher musli with chia seeds and nitrate free bacon for breakfast. Smoked cod had lots of bones so they served us cured salmon dish with beetroot and avocado instead which was delicious but was not on the menu. If they ever add that dish to the menu I am sure it will be a hit! Loved their very relaxed atmosphere and iced latte.
j. K.
Nice place with indoor and outdoor dining areas.
T. M.
Nice pl, gallery & coffee. Recommend!
D. T.
Love this place - lots of seating options, indoors outdoors, great coffee food n atmosphere. Great for kids and adults. All dietary needs catered for.
R. Y.
Great food and love the outside courtyard :)
L. C.
This was our used to be our favourite place to come whenever we were in freo. But now not so much the salmon has very small salads my daughter couldn’t get scrabbled eggs as they can only poach and fry them. Though the pulled beef burger was very gd. And our family friend didn’t get properly cooked eggs
A. G.
Very friendly service, tasty breakfast...highly recommend the poached eggs and pumpkin mash.
s. b.
Incredible coffee, breakfast is amazing, I drive an hour to come here on weekends.
My car has a flat tyre but I still drove it down to Freo to get this coffee.
A policeman yelled at me "pullover"
I said "no it's a cardigan but thanks for noticing".
I'll be back when I get out of jail.
T.
Great staff, very welcoming.
Was there for a wedding.
Food was amazing.
Service amazing.
Venue and all the artwork Amazing.
P. B.
FBulous breaky. Great hot coffee and service
T. H.
Moore & Moore offer a good selection of breakfast and lunch items and are welcoming to all customers. Although they excel in these areas, Moore & Moore provide a somewhat slow service at a high expense. The quality of coffee (comparatively to competitors) is also somewhat behind. I will acknowledge that the area in and around Moore & Moore is absolutely beautiful. There are often art displays and quirky particulars that make this Cafe unique. Overall, this Cafe offers a nice experience for customers though there are some areas which need work such as price and speed.
M. B. P.
At first we were a little turned off by the pricing but when our meals came out we were impressed. Great value for money. The meals were so fresh and tasty. We tried The Club and The sweet potato rosti.
J. A.
I’m a huge fan of Moore and Moore. Simon and his team are friendly, great cooks, and have created a wonderful spot to eat, drink and have conversation
A. F.
Coffee is great and so is the French-Croatian dude running the place! Some staff seem grumpy but he made it worth it by compensating for them. Total mad cat! Be prepared to wait if you go during peak periods.
M. M.
Great food and service but book a table can be busy in mornings. Was expecting a big breakfast but left suitably satisfied. Plenty of parking on Henry Street if early on weekends..
C. P.
One of our favourite cafes in Perth. Great vibe, good brunch, decent coffee, and a little outdoor play area for kids. The biodynamic pancakes with blueberries are fantastic!
G. S.
When you're a very successsful cafe, you can afford to stop your customers from waiting ages in line and start table service. The food ain't cheap but the service is. And Perth cafes don't get more than a 3 until more start offering filter and batchbrews.
D. W.
Great food, original yet yummy menu. Casual relaxed setting with awesome area for kiddies to run around. Staff very friendly and accommodating, especially with a large group. Highly recommended.
M. T.
Great food, great atmosphere.
s. D.
Tasty, but boring menu and average food. My fried eggs were undercooked, portion was small and waited 40min for breakfast.good location for kids as it has a small play corner. Great vibe
B. W.
Loved the food. Loved the vibe. Loved the service (with a smile) and especially loved the decor. Great package and great place to meet up. Bring your reusable coffee cup to get a discount. :).
R. D.
What a find. As a meat loving, bacon toting, steak adoring carnivore I was dubious about dipping my toe into the world of the vego. Well well come hither my pretties and feast on the mushroom. All of the mushrooms and leeks and eggs and smokey cheese goodness. Yum yum yum.
O. B.
Strange, in a good way. Great coffee and atmosphere with great staff. Can get a bit too busy for the counter to cope with. This is a university hangout but great for kids and family.
I. N.
Best. Chai. Ever. I love the real thing which spicy warm and flavorsome, not the sugary stuff. These guys have the real deal.
The garden is beautiful, food and raw cakes aee just so fresh and Yumm. Service is Freo perfect :) I love this spot. I have come by myself ..With hubby and sometimes with my two little girls :)
t. f.
One of my favourites. Staff are lovely, food is always delicious, large variety of teas (which can be served with their made on premises nut milk) and a gorgeous building.
B. M.
Had our wedding here last weekend and we honestly could not fault it! Stunning venue, amazing food and the staff took care of everything. Jaqui and Reinie were so lovely to deal with making the whole experience completely stress free! So so happy!! Thank you again Moore and Moore!
G. K.
This must have been one of the nicest cafes I have ever been in the wonderful city of Fremantle. The vibe is great and there is a great variety of seats to choose from. Backyard, front of the place, couches, tables. Great place!
S.
Totally quirky place! Love how every single piece of furniture comes together and formed sucha beaitiful place!
J.
Favourite Freo spot-the most amazing chai tea - brewed in a teapot in milk (plenty of nut milk etc for the vegans). Delicious varied brekkie. Beautiful outdoor garden and take a look at the gallery on the way out.
D. J.
My favourite cafe. Unfortunately seems to shut at 4pm. Go after visiting the Shipwreck museum. Visit the art exhibition in the next building. Paper Birds next door is one of the best children's bookstores around.
T. S.
Tasty, varied food with vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, diary free and refined sugar free options. Beautiful, historical venue.
V. M.
In the middle of a dreamlike discovery I walk up an alleyway to find Moore Cafe opening out into a courtyard with children's playground, and adjoining bookshop, not to mention bicycle and cappuccino cup waterwheel in a meandering garden. Good coffee and service
G. H.
Great service & food. We went in for breakfast with a decent size group. All of seemed to want to change our orders and the poor waitress bent of backwards to make it work then apologised when one little thing wasnt right. It wasn't her fault at all but she fixed it up.
S. G.
A hidden gem! Loved the taste and the ambience! Very creative food and super friendly staff! A must go in Perth!
T. G.
These guys are all over it. The salmon potato cake with kimchi was delicious. And even though l prefer a lighter roasted coffee it was not too acidy and easy to drink. Hmm. Better go back tomorrow, me thinks.
E. P. (. P.
Great little breakfast spot - try the Avocado (smashed avocado, poached eggs on sourdough). Vegan options are available too if thats your thing. Great service and good prices too.
G. G.
Lovely organic and healthy food. Very tasty. Good coffee. Helpful staff. Great street chic environment.
R. M.
Love this cafe. Very ‘Freo’! Cool vibe, relaxed garden courtyard, amazing food and great coffee. As soon as you walk through the front doors you know you’ve made the right decision.
n. m.
great food! great people!
M. F.
Fantastic place for breakfast. Large but quirky and fun layout. Food and coffee was excellent. Our kids... Not so much.
B. S. B.
Quirky cafe love the boho menu and seating the pumpkin muffin delicious
A. F.
A great space to unwind in freo with. Pull up a chair grab a chai or freshly squeezed jucies and try some amazing g sweet treats.
Staff are always kind mannered, knowlegable of freo and what's happening.
Veg friendly. Raw friendly.
F. S. V. V.
Been coming here for a while still my favourite place in freo for breakkie.
However it really kills the freo vibe to only have two tables out the front that allows dogs? Not like their decor looks like is too delicate to have dogs around.
F. H.
Loved the atmosphere and ambience. Coffee standards have dropped in our opinion but still one of the better ones around.
V. J.
The ambience is absolutely spot on .. it's like a hidden place in the heart of Freo. The place has an amazing charm.. it has seating style for all sort of familys couple kiddos .. you name it and there is space for everyone ..
We did brekky ... Banana pancake 5/5 hands down winner .. Potato Cake was amazing.. they put a red chutney/sauce sort of stuff .. that was a bomb it held the dish so well together any day I would order them without a second thought.. The Mexican brekky ... now that didn't tingle my tastebuds as expected.. Jalapenos were promised but where missing .. I couldn't find much zing in it..
Obviously my accomplices where all over my plate to dissect and find if am right .. and yes hands down they said my palate has issues.
Next the coffee and chai.. we tried flat white and it was a full 5/5 .. Chai Latte was the highlight reason everywhere we have been we get the standard chai latte powder mixed chai.. this had some real whole spices .. the taste was a bit light but it was really good...
We walked out with full bellys and an amazing smile .
g. b.
My favourite spot in freo , perfect to have a slice of cake, a coffee and do some work on my laptop. Great service and a beautiful venue.
L. S.
Beautiful venue for a little bit of a wedding. Stunning old building, staff great to deal with and well priced packages.
A. L.
Good healthy food, affordable price, best vegan Nachos.
Cool atmosphere.
But, my eggs were undercooked.
T. H.
Probably one of the best breakfast in town, the cafe is really tasty and the food is amazing - the avocado or the salmon are my go to.
Enjoy an éphémère art exposition while digesting your breaky
H. F.
So cute and I love the food. I love that they do real chai lattes. Nice to have a few gluten free options available.
J. H.
Delicious vegan options, gorgeous decor and vibe. Really nice to look at the gallery next door as well!
F. T.
Great place to have a Brunch or an aperitif. We found a friendly staff and a beatiful industrial ambient with many plants and peace!
K. O.
Great coffees but not very hot :( Even asked for extra hot and it came out luke warm and has happened the last 3 times i've purchased coffee from there. But one of the guys who works there was very nice and made me a new one :)
A. B.

Great quirky cafe with a lovely courtyard and delicious food. I can recommend the Pumpkin Smash. With the free wifi it's a great place to do some work.
A. A.
Many times been this place. Love the option GF and vegan cake with red velvet latte 😋
M. T.
Food is awesome, service not so much. You get the "l will tolerate you because you're paying" vibe. 25 Min wait for coffee.
W. M.
They were really quite busy but food came quickly and staff were professional and friendly.
Note, the kitchen is small so they do fried & poached eggs but not scrambled.
Z. A. -. F.
Great food, really cool hip atmosphere. The rear patio seems like an enchanted garden and there is always a new detail to notice in the decor.
A. M.
Love the food and vibe EXCEPT the live music on Saturday morning. I just don't feel it's necesssary. We are there to talk to each other, not to listen to a band. Too loud!
P. B.
This place has a small menu but the food is very tasty. The potato cake with broccoli, poached egg and sundried tomatoe pesto was very nice.
C.
Really love the food, setting and staff here. Coffee is great, the high ceilings make it feel quite expansive too
M.
The best bread I’ve ever had by far! And the coffee was great too. Service wasn’t amazing. It doesn’t hurt to be nice!
R. B.
Delicious unexpected menu, great coffee, friendly service even during peek times. Super kid friendly and I love the curio magic vibe, in every corner there's hidden treasures!
L. M.
Awesome coffee, food and vibe. Kid friendly too. Staff are friendly and service is quick. The new kids' nature area is a fantastic idea!
D. Z.
This place is a little gem the food was outstanding and the staff were very helpful, our celiac girl friend had no issues with choosing any gfo meals and as a meat eater there were lots of options Would highly recommended this place
S. J.
Hipster atmosphere, friendly staff, got prompt service and arrival of meal (being the 2nd customer of the day at 7am on a Sunday), good food options, but the real highlight is the flavoursome chai, be sure to try that.
R. A.
We love coming here on a Saturday morning. Great service, great food, great coffee, great location, great vibes, what more can you want! Highly recommend

N. L.
Good food, they have nice space for photos
N. T.
I found this coffeehouse in one of the back alleys of the center. Lovely retro cafe with great music. The cappuccino is not the best, but the atmosphere and staff is awesome!
Z. B.
Great vego and vegan foods. Always a delicious chai latte - and that's coming from a fussy chai drinker :) lovely atmosphere and shady outdoor dining
S. K.
Good stuff!

Great place to relax and spend the afternoon.
A. B.
Very nice place to spend time, either having coffee and a meal, or checking out the amazing art in the adjoining gallery. Our regular favourite.

The best feed I've had in a long time, really adventurous atmosphere for the kids. Seemed like the food came straight from the farm!

M. S. G.

Very rootsy layout. Play area for children including a tree swing. I had smashed avo and the honey cake
S. R.
Great friendly staff, excellent food choices, good prices, building has heaps of atmosphere and personality. I used to work here so slightly biased!
G. L. M.
The food is ok little overpriced for what you get. Playground at the back is great for kids. It's ok but there are better places in Freo.
t. t.
Had the soup of the day - hearty & wholesome. Funky atmosphere!
