This place deserves all the stars! Such a humble approach to business Very generous! They offer the freshest of delicious ingredients such as German cheese kransky’s with the big breakfast. They also have an extensive range of menu options to choose from. Milkshakes are delicious and creamy Well done You’ll have my business always

Great old school burgers. But that's changed recently we dined here and it was a terrible experience. Long wait times 40 minutes. Poor service, our coffee's took 35 minutes. Quality of the food left a lot to be desired. It has become run down, dirty and very unhygienic. We won't be returning for quite a while.

On Saturday 29th January 2022, myself and approximately 16 friends arrived. There were already about six people waiting and after placing our orders, many other customers arrived. Saturday night at roughly 1900 is obviously a popular time to go to Captain Munchies. There was only one staff member working and when I asked why he was alone, he advised his colleague had called in sick. The extraordinary manner in which this man coped with the influx of orders deserves recognition. He kept cool and managed to cook some of the orders whilst coping with the influx of customers. Eventually more of his colleagues arrived, I assume he called for help. By the time they arrived he had done an amazing job coping with all of our orders, as well as keeping the food coming in the order placed. Much kudos is deserved on a job well done under very trying circumstances. Much respect to most of our fellow customers for their patience as he did an awesome job!

Amazing food! Had the steak burger which was amazing although I wish I was able to get the option to have it toasted. Friends had nachos which was super nice! Get lots of food for your buck and brilliant staff, especially when bombarded with a huge rush of people ordering from our car cruise. Highly recommended!

This place rocks! I had an Up Burger which has steak, egg etc. So tasty! Hubby had the Kitchen Sink and loved it! We got to see some old school cars in the carpark. Very cool. They do the best milkshakes! :)

Not my ideal place to go to mostly due to the customer service. The food here is good, friends and I often come get food from here when we go on car cruises together, they have amazing chips with really good prices. However the customer service isn't the strongest part, at one point we waited 45 minutes for an order of chips, other people who ordered after us got their orders before we did.

This shop has changed hands so many times I couldn't count.. But as of this comment, the food has definitely been cared for more and they genuinely are trying - and succeeding at great food and customer support. There's a lot of history at this little shop.. Don't forget to try what they are best at, their big burgers! Also, if you have kids that enjoy skating or alike, the restaurant is a few steps away from the local skatepark.

I got the extra large Super dog and chips. Super dog was $12 with 2 Frankfurts. They were very low quality. I didn't like the way it was squashed in the sandwich Press. It was literally flat. Chips were fresh and very nice. It's open 24hours so it's very convenient for a late night snack.

Just had the Hangover and it was fantastic......nice hot chips then washed down with an icey cold water. Mate had the porter house steak and it was spot on, cooked as asked and tender. If your after a burger or something to eat go to Captain Munchies. They are the best!

We use this place as a local meet up for our motorcycle rides. Great cheap home style burgers and other mains. Definitely not fancy by any means but if you want a big cheap meal this is the best place in freo that hammy been destroyed by hipsters.
