A lovely little Cafe with incredible service. The food & drinks had that great, fresh, home-cooked feel. Such a good choice on their menu too, considering it's not a big cafe. Most of all the staff are fantastic. We will definitely be returning here. BTW Their blueberry muffins are the best I've ever had! Easy wheelchair access & free parking just outside.

Bit expensive...$32 for two pies (mine was still cold inside and I found a LONG blonde hair in the last bite - blergh - other than that, it was good, when heated to the correct temperature - over 70 degrees) and two coffees. The owner explained that they'd had to increase their prices for the first time in five years due to supplier s. Staff are friendly and Cafe is clean. Did I mention that the coffee is VERY GOOD?!

Great coffee but wasn't to impressed with the big breakfast or the Thai chicken burger, it was just minced up chicken mince overloaded with coriander and the bacon and sausage for the brekky was extremely bog standard. Ambers Cafe in Merriwa blows it away for quality breakfast and food but like I say the staff are very friendly and the coffee is stellar.

We wholeheartedly agree with all other reviewers! Definitely the very best coffee in the whole of Perth, beautiful fresh food and absolutely the friendliest service. They have a varied and interesting menu, as well as lovely looking treats. Our son, who knows his coffee, recommended this cafe and we're so happy he did. Our other son travels quite a way to come here too. Luckily we're close enough to go quite often. The owners really deserve to do well.

I’ve just enjoyed the yummiest savoury muffin from this café 😋 Large, fresh and tasty, they warmed it through and man it was delicious! They also make coffee with Lactose Free milk which is always a bonus for me Plus they were quick and efficient☕️ Love your work guys!

Their coffee is definitely one of the best, if not the best, in Perth in my opinion. My friend who orders his coffee with soy agrees, perhaps due to the fact they use bonsoy as standard. The almond milk they use apparently tastes very good as well. Staff are always super friendly and genuine and remembered my usual order by my third visit. It’s great to be able to support such a great local and independent coffee shop like hungry bear.

Moved into the area 24 months ago and have been a regular at this cafe ever since on a near daily basis. I have been blessed to have traveled extensively and I must say that the coffee, service and staff here are literally as good as anywhere I have been in this world. I feel (like many other customers I have met here during this 12 months) as being part of 'the family'. Starting my day here with the beaut coffee, smiles and conversations with staff and other customers is something I look forward to. The almond coffee is my 'celiac' daughters favourite and she is now a convert to My Hungry Bear along with my grandkids who love the staff and vica versa. This cafe is definitely way above all others!

Amazing food and coffee. Best coffee in perth! (No really, I am a barista of 10 years and this is one of the best places I've been to!!!) Have always had amazing customer service from the staff, they go the extra mile and add personal touches by remembering your name and order. Cute little kids corner with toys, colouring in and a tv to keep the entertained while parents have coffee. You will not be disappointed!!!
