This little cafe serves excellent modern fusion Asian-Australian food. They do a seasonal rotation of different dishes based off the ingredients they've got. Everything is always cooked really well and plated with careful attention to the colours and details. We are now regulars that visit at least once a week or two for coffee. When we have time to eat there the food is always delicious and great service too.

I like the miso mushroom but find it a little too salty. Coffee was great. The water needs to be monitored as when we pour three into the glass there were lots of floaters inside.

I got the miso mushroom and the zucchini noodles. They were both great. Zucchini noodles are served cold and it compliments the dish. Coffee and service are good as well. I will be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

Went to this little cute cafe. Great coffee and friendly service. However food was average, we ordered dandaragan beef and mushroom toast. The toast outside was toasty hot but the stuffy was just fairly warm. Dandaragan beef spiced too strong. But we might give another go to support local business.

First time here for brunch today and we weren't disappointed! Had seen the menu online before and thought iis interesting. Easy to find parking in front or side of the location. Staff are attentive and friendly. Nice ambience, but got quite noisy at one stage until a group of people left. We ordered the banana pancakes and miso mushroom and were blown away by those as they are delish. Coffee is good too and both my wife and I left very full and happy. Hope to return one day to try the other items on the menu.

A lovely place for brunch. Some different dishes, with unique flavours. And very nice juices.

Wow! The miso mushrooms are super tasty, one of the best brunch dishes I've had in a while. They used king oyster mushrooms, which were deliciously meaty. The wakame butter toast underneath was also very tasty! We also enjoyed the Hasselback potato as a side, it came with an interesting green dip that was flavoursome. Super chocolately mocha, great coffee from 5 Senses. The mug upgrade comes in a very large mug!

Once in a while we chance upon hidden gems - this is one I’ll be coming back for. That mushroom dish looks unassuming, but it is the best mushrooms on toast with a poached egg I’ve ever had. Period. My personal preference in order because all dishes were good. 1. Miso mushroom - something about the combination of flavours gets me 2. Croquettes - the caulini and cauliflower were the perfect pairing 3. Pork belly - only improvement might be to separate the crackling and serve it on top of the already high stack. The rest is delicious af 4. Hasselback potatoes with salmon - choice of different potatoes was on point. Wasn’t quite enough dill sauce flavour to be paired with salmon imo 5. Chilli sambal scrambled eggs - one of the best scrambled eggs I’ve had. I just wish there was more to the dish 6. Banana pancakes - they were excellent (I’m not a desserts person and I liked it) but maybe lacking a citrus element that would have helped me finish it.

Wow who kept this place a secret. Is this the best banana pancake in the world? It’s certainly at least a contender. Food and coffee were amazing. Fast and friendly service. 10/10

If you're looking for an Asian fusion breakfast hotspot than this is the place! My friend and I ordered the miso Mushroom and the samba chilli eggs to share and it was sugar and spice and all things nice!

Loved the coffee; I am biased as I loved Five Senses beans. The staff are be friendly and courteous. The ideas of a take away window is great; however it does block the access to the seating area. The menu is simple and easy to follow. I ordered the pull beef, personally I did not like taste I found it bland and the cold corn salad did not go well with the dish. Serving is small to average.

Nice first experience. Walk-ins only and takeaway coffee window is a great touch. All the tables were full come lunch on a Saturday and service was lovely. I really loved my 3 cheese croquettes and I've been a fan of 5 senses coffee for the better half of a decade now. If you're considering the decadent pancake, I'd suggest sharing! Its massive! Overall enjoyable and I will be back!

I regularly get my morning coffee here and we have had breakfast here a few times. The coffee is one of the best around and the food we have had has been superb. All the staff are very friendly and give excellent customer service. We Highly recommend Nogi Lane. Get there early as it's extremely popular and getting a table is as hard as finding a parking spot when it's busy.

We live around the corner from Nogi Lane and it is always my suggestion to meet friends and family for coffee or food. I absolutely love and rave about the Miso Mushroom dish, it is perfection! Staff are always really lovely and they stock our favourite local juice brand. All around great cafe.

Noticed this cute place after an appt in the beauty salon next door. The Miso Mushrooms are incredible (especially with chorizo). Friendly staff, great service, lovely atmosphere. Just found our new local!

I've been here a couple of times now and have really enjoyed the food. Had the shrooms and potatoes on the first visit and it was pretty tasty but it's the chilli sambal scrambled eggs that I'd definitely go back for! Only thing missing from the menu is some cold brew coffee.

A lovely local to go to. Great decor. Whatever I’ve had there is so tasty. Love the rice pudding. But for me the service is as important as the quality of the food. We had such good service from a lovely young waitress which really made all the difference.

Avoid the eggs Benedict- the sauce was split and tasted like lemons. I ate some of the toast and left the rest. We won’t be back but it’s still a nice enough local.

I love getting my morning coffee from here before work and on the weekends. Nogi have become an integral part of my morning routine, haha. The staff are so lovely and the food has been great too! I will endeavor to get through the whole menu - it’s a popular little spot and rightfully so!

Hidden gem in The Strand. I tried the coffee – nice flavours and hot. Although, the coffee here is relatively expensive – I paid $6 for a regular coffee with almond milk. Food looks great – may come back and try it.

Parking available right next to the shop, which is wonderful to set my mood right for the beautiful day. Coffee was great; Services are friendly and prompt. Don’t worry they’ve got bar seats if you’re on your own, don’t have to take up one table seated kinda awkwardly.

I love that you sit down at your chosen table (inside or outside), order when you're ready and then pay once you've finished... not pay as you enter after you've stood at the entrance and juggled a menu while people queue up impatiently behind you! Also, the menu is unique both the edibles and the drinks... the crockery is classy too. Highly recommended. Enjoy.

My partner and I went for breaky a few weeks ago. They were full; but it was peak breakfast time so this is to be expected. One of the staff asked us to wait at the door and it shouldn't be too long. Sure enough less than 10 minutes later we were in and seated at a table for two. I ordered the mushroom mix dish, and the Mrs got the Sambal I think it was called. Both were genuinely delicious, and the coffee was also incredible. I believe they used oat milk - we're not converted and have it in the fridge at home. Really good stuff. Can't wait to get back.

Nice friendly staff who are very caring (as I had a toddler and 4month old) and they were really good with them. Excellent service and great atmosphere. Will be back to visit again.
