Had to wait 50 minutes for a table of 5 which is excessive. They said it was going to take a little while longer but we asked to sit at the vacant tables outside. So I definitely recommend going in smaller numbers. They said they'd bring us menus but that didn't happen so we eventually went to get our own. The table also wasn't set so we went to get our own cutlery too. But, once we did order, the food did come out quickly. And I do normally like this place and the food so I'll still rate it highly even though I was a bit disappointed with the service today. I understand that it was busy and we were asking for a table of 5 in a small place, so hopefully it's just a once off.

As a well-known place for amazing breakfast I don't think there is anything new I could mention about this place, other than that I also had an awesome food experience here! Portion sizes can be a bit small for some, but the flavour is all there. Balanced menu with options to suit all kinds of dietary requirements. Will come back for sure and recommend this to anyone in the area. Lots of interesting flavours on the menu I'd like to try.

I enjoyed the rustic scenery that they had and it felt a bit ‘Melbourne’ish to be honest (certainly not a bad thing and the dress sense of some of the patrons contributed to to that). I am afraid it was strange that the hot chocolates came out minutes after e breakfast itself. They also forgot part of our meal which was a pretty basic error. The food itself was good though.

Delicious. We have enjoyed a delicious breakfast at Sayers Sister cafe. What a lovely find during our holiday wanderings. They have a fabulous menu with lots variety. Something for everyone and all reasonably priced. We had Potato Rosti and also the Cod cakes. Both meals were amazing. They makes good cappuccinos and also fresh leaf tea. The decor is funky and rustic giving the place a lovely vibe. The staff provided excellent customer service. Really recommend a visit here.

Wow wow wow I love it when people’s passion exudes through their food and venue. This place is amazing. Great set up, lounge & garden feel I want it for my house. Staff amazing. And about that food. This was the rosti, bruschetta, & a couple of Bloody Mary’s. Spot on. Their home made sauces & art on a plate delayed our consumption as it looks too good to eat. The taste delivered what our eyes expected. Yum yum yum. I need to move around the corner so I can walk here every day.

I have been to Sayers Sister in Perth a few times now and every time has been great service with a friendly smile and prompt service. Meals are great with a large choice of different food options including cakes, coffees, main meals and snacks..Plenty of seating inside with high bench seating in the middle and a small amount of seating outside. Would definitely recommend a visit to Sayers Sister for coffee or lunch, however they are very popular so it does tend to get busy.. best to book...Generally open until 4 p.m

Ps: you can not book this place, but if there is a line outside, definitely worth the wait and the muffins served for the ones waiting in queue .

2 pieces of bacon for my "full/big breakfast". I didn't realise we were rationing like it was WWII again. This was by far the most bizarre big breakfast I have ever had. The beans tasted of curry. Did not go with the breakfast at all. The single mushroom was insulting, but what was more insulting was the green pesto like topping which did not go well with the dish. The combination did not bode well for the tastebuds. I'll give credit where credit is due, the scrambled eggs and coffee were amazing.

Delicious coffee, some of the funkiest decor available in a perth cafe. I haven’t had food here only coffees but they were extremely satisfactory. A flat white to kill for. It’s nearly always crowded, and some of the wait staff can be reserved borderline rude. But the majority are professional and kind. I’ll come back again and again.

I found Sayers Sister through a guide for the best breakfasts in Perth. I downloaded a menu from the website and saw they had potato rosti, which is one of my favourite breakfasts, so I decided on it and went in for some nosh. The place was quite busy which is a good sign. Table side service which is preferred, and got myself a coffee while I perused the menu again. The coffee was excellent, great crema as you can see. I ordered the rosti which is what I came for. It came out in good time and looked great. Unfortunately it wasn't great. One poached egg was underdone while the other was overdone. I was able to handle the undercooked one, but had to ask for another egg. A different waitress came back to ask for the overcooked egg to ask if I'd asked for hard (obviously not as I wanted another one), and helped her put it on a little plate to go back as proof. Which I kinda get, but made me feel awkward as I wasn't going to eat it. Anyway... The mustard was really strong, and the parmesan was very sharp, beautiful but sharp with nothing sweet to cut it. There's a sweet chutney, but it's cooked into the rosti... So it's not enough. I'd give Sayers Sister another go some time but won't be getting the rosti again.

Very delicious, very imaginative, and very large portions (for the majority of dishes); came here for breakfast and was not disappointed! You have to go up to the register to pay, even though they do do table service for the first half of the meal. For some reason they’d left the door and window open at 7:30AM on a June morning, so it was quite chilly...but they were happy to close the window when requested. Would come back again!

Fantastic breakfast spot tucked away off the beaten path away from all of the tourist attractions. Came back twice in the same weekend, neither morning had much of a wait. Friendly wait staff. If you're visiting town, this spot is easily worth the walk from the city center.

Got our usual table (not by design) and was persuaded to try something different, the crumbed corn beef hash with a fried egg, spinach and piccalilli on sourdough. Good mix of salty and tangy but I will return to the roost or the pie next time. Wife said her poached salmon salad was just yummy and there was a good serve of fish as well. Too full for cake but the lemon honey waffles on the next table looked worth trying next time. Reasonably priced

Wow this little cafe is amazing. Starting from when I entered the staff were very attentive and welcoming. The staffs atire was nice also. The breakfast was amazing. I had the potato rosti with poached egg, bacon and spinach. The mustard dressing around the side went amazing with almost every element and at the end left me wanting more just to have more mustard sauce. The coffee was beautiful and very well presented. The cafe itself has plenty of seating and has a beautiful rustic feel. Well done will definetly return.

Had seen that Sayers Sister had rated highly for breakfast recommendations in r/Perth (Reddit). What better way to start the day off. The staff were really welcoming, the venue is nicely set out with a mishmash of old furniture and decor. I really like the open plan kitchen out the back, it must be a joy to work in with plenty of space and natural light. The menu has some seasonal dishes and wasn't too busy. Coffee was smooth and not too potent, which meant I wasn't ning-ning-ninging on caffeine for the next 30min. This is a good thing, my lovely missus can vouch for that! The food was prepared fresh and on our table in very good time, great job kitchen it was yum! We got in early, say 7am and by the time we were done queues were building. We wrapped up and made way for the next lot of hungry punters. Will definitely be back when we're in the area again.

Such a great modern brekky menu! Little spenno if you want to create your own big brekky but if you're after a rosti or pancake type thing you're set. The pastry fridge is next level too. Only slight thing is I hate the oat up oat milk that they're currently using.. so have to get almond milk but hey! Not deducting a star for it.

My partner and I came here twice and absolutely loved it. You immediately get lost in the decor and the environment is very welcoming. I went here for breakfast, l went early as to avoid any crowd. People started showing up almost straight away. It's table service, but you can get take away also.the menu is very modern & a little out there, l felt like eggs Benedict, but had to have it deconstructed as poached eggs, & pay separately for extra bacon(No ham on menu) spinach & hollandaise sauce, which was freshly made because it had that lemony zing. But it didnt feel like eggs benedict, the sauce came in a bowl & the extras on the side I also had coffee which wasn't very strong but it had good froth. It has a high rating among local guides but l personally don't rate this place at all, l didn't really feel welcome, l felt like just another order dealt with sufficient politeness. Mediocre, l will be looking for other breakfast spots in future.

Both the cod cakes and the pulled lamb dishes were delicious, with generous portion size and reasonable pricing. The orange cake is one if the best I have ever enjoyed, and the coffee has a unique flavor and is really well made. The staff go out of their way to look after you too. My long Mach (strong latte) came in a glass too large and so was far too weak. So I tried a picollo which came in a glass suitable for a long mach, too weak again. There seems to be some confusion here. If I go back I'll order a long Mach in a picollo glass!!. Non standard glass sizes, and hence strengths, seems to be too common in Perth. As a plus they had table service (also rare in Perth) which was refreshing.
