Great location, food was delicious and the service was casual. Table not really clean. But still enjoy it. I was order Mushrooms insane and chicken pho. The price was a bit expensive for what we get.

Great location i thought the meals were a little expensive but when it came i really enjoyed it! Service was fast and friendly even though it was extremely busy. Like I said food was excellent but parking can be a nightmare, probably pays to get there early. All in all a good place for breakfast.

Great open space facility with sufficient outdoor seating, fans and cooling, especially during the hotter months. There is also adequate parking with an overflow parking bay not too far away. The staff were friendly and were not phased by my little yappy dog. There was also a reasonable number of staff moving around, cleaning up the place so once patrons leave, there shouldn't be a long lead time before a table is made available. In terms of food, the addition of duck fat food items is great, especially when added to the chips. I ate a burger here before, but it wasn't memorable, but this time I had their fried rice. I thought the fried rice was going to be the standard Malaysian or Singaporean style, but when it came it, it looked like something my mum would make, where the rice was lot darker in colour. It felt very nostalgic and had a similar taste to it, so I ended up not enjoying it significantly as I would have liked. Their inhouse made drinks were a great addition to the meal and their mocha frappes was one of my favourites SOR.

Fish and chips were lightly battered and not greasy at all. Served with shoe string chips and a small leaf and cabbage salad. So very enjoyable. The kids had fish and chips (this picture shows one serving split between two plates). The soft serve was too big for either of my children to finish, and that’s sayin something!

The big breakfast was amazing and dont get me started with the duck fat fries. My wife ordered eggs Benedict in hollandaise sauce they were absolutey delicious. The cold pressed juices are delicious and service is second to none. Location it's also very nice with the beach breeze in the outdoor area. I definitely recommend it and come back every possible time.

Went for brunch on a Wed so it was almost empty. Paid $29 for coffee, eggs beni and smoked salmon, pricey for what you get. The toast was so thin (even thinner than normal sliced bread) it quickly became soggy. When I asked the waitress why the salmon was red brown instead of the usual orange, she said "I have no clue"and started to walk away. As I was concerned it was not fresh I asked her if she could find out. Turns out it is beetroot cured. Fair enough, maybe the waitress could be a little more enthusiastic about knowing the food. It tasted different to the usual smoked salmon so perhaps an acquired taste. The eggs tasted strongly of vinegar. You have to get your own cutlery, salt n pepper, and there were no napkins. The coffee was excellent and saved me giving 2 stars instead of 3. Beware they charge 1.4% surcharge for eftpos.

Not so great this time unfortunately with food. It was ordinary. May be they struggled cos they were so busy. Staff/service was great though. Somehow they had missed our reservation but found us a table. We were advised of the 45 mins wait for food upon ordering so no surprises. Food was not as good as what we had before. Fries were oily and soggy, so was the calamari although Fries served with calamari were good. Kids waffle was dense. Everything on the Lamb Rosti was good other that the Rosti itself. Drenched in oil.. Fried rice were ok and so was the pho.

Checked this placed out during school holiday, place is packed with family and kids. Guess its because of school holiday or probably it was a weekend as well. But good cafe is good for family and as well as dogs friendly. They have special area for dogs to chill with its owners as well. Price for food seems a bit more then it should be but not too pricey. Your orders do come out fast as well. Just a walking distance to the beach and if you were around that beach area this may be your stop for food and drinks. Be prepared to wait for parking space if you decide to try this cafe only as parking limited and sharing with beachgoers.

Lovely spot by the beach, perfect after a swim and kicking back. Dogs are allowed (although we didn’t have our on this visit). We had the pho and calamari which were both delicious as well as the refreshing iced coffee and lemon iced tea. We will definitely be back!

The surfing lizard is a great vibes and the location is really great right near the beach. Now the coffee I will give 5 Stars too because it's great! The food on the other hand is where they fall down, we ordered eggs Benedict which came our with a few pieces of spinach and hardly any sauce, I was pretty disappointed with the size portion of the food there - not to say that it didn't taste great because it did, I just didn't feel as though it was value for money, nonetheless I have only tried 1 item of food on there menu, will go back though because the coffee was great!

Mine and my daughters favourite coffee shop! I always highly recommend it to my friends! Reason being the coffee is the best! The staff and owner are so friendly and always willing to take on board suggestions and want to make sure the customers are happy. I can actually sit down and enjoy my coffee while my toddler plays in the kids corner unlike anywhere else and then after my coffee I love that I can go for a walk/bicycle ride along beach, play at the park or down at the beach. ❤ PS the food is the best! Great cafe! Play area for kids with plenty of different toys and sandbox, even bikes. There's even a playground in a boat shape downstairs after the meal if kids still need to let loose some energy. The place is dog friendly (outside area) and water fountain/bowl available. Super friendly service and delicious well thought out food and drinks. A pleasure to go out! Not ideal though during wet weather as majority of seating and play is outside.

Twice I've been here and both times I've enjoyed the coffee and food, but have been let down by poor service and longs waits. Positives first - tasty, well proportioned food and excellent smoothies and coffees. It was also great to be able to bring the dog in after a run on the beach. Now, the downsides... My first visit was for coffee with friends. 1 hour in and my friends had already finished their mugs and were about to leave. I went to the counter and asked where mine was and they said it hadn't been made - they quickly made a takeaway cup to-go. 2nd visit was disappointing. Ordered at 10:30am, 40 minutes later I noticed two groups who were behind me in line receiving their food orders, so I asked the staff who checked the kitchen and responded with "we have moved your order to the front". Not a good response as I wonder how many other people had complained and were shuffled forward... 11:25am the food came out - luckily it was delicious.
