This is the local hotel dedicated to the NRL home team, Rabbitohs. The pub is located quite conveniently down Botany road just mins away from the Redfern station. It’s the local spot for anyone who wants a beer. Plenty of seating inside and they checked if I scanned the NSW QR code when I went inside. The food was really good. We had several dishes and all of us enjoyed it. I did found the bar area smelling very much like a pub i.e stale beer😊 People are very friendly and easy to deal with

First time visitor. Dined and drank here with a friend. Meals took over 30 minutes to arrive which was a bit much considering I could only see 1 other person who ordered food. The chicken parma was mediocre at best. If you need to use the make toilets at 6pm at night I recommend taking a very deep breath before entering the toilets. It appeared as though they hadn't been cleaned all day. Much too improve.

I used to live around the corner from this pub about 2 years ago. They continue to serve great pub food, always love a good parma. Kyal also remembered my name and my drink even though he hasn't seen me in forever. Top bloke!

Great service, food used to be awesome at the $10 mark, veal and pork snitty.....could never get past the veal 😎 Decor is outdated and carpet has seen better days. Hence the 3 stars.

New menu and chef it seems. First time trying the food. The pizza was good, they're half price on the weekend. Reasonably busy due to UFC being on. It is usually good for sports with a vocal crowd. Previously told no kids allowed even in the dining area be aware.

It's a nice neighborhood pub. The crowd can be rough, but the food is consistently good pub grub and the drink prices are very reasonable. Watch for the daily specials, they're one of the few remaining places with $10 schnitzel.

Awesome food and cheap drinks. Very friendly and enthusiastic staff only too happy to make you feel welcome. The $12 roast on Sundays is a real hit, but a little local secret is it's on the menu everyday... 5 stars.

Nice Pub!!! Very friendly and helpful staff. I would have to give a special mention to the lovely "Hayley" behind the bar. A wonderful polite, efficient and friendly young lady. I will definitely be going back.

I once was on a pub crawl through this pub and I'm in two minds about this place. They have really friend staff and I always like how cheap the drinks are for something decent. Then on the other hand when I walk past this place and there is a guy with a big gash on his head and bleeding all over the side walk or there are multiple drunks stumbling so close to the road (which is busy because it goes to the airport).

Mixed crowd inside, hipsters, tradies and then the more rougher crowd. Makes for an oldschool Waterloo pub experience, this place hasn't had the gentrification experience yet and I mean that in a good way. Though I feel like they've been trying to become more accessible/welcoming for the general public over the last year or two. Will be interesting to see what happens in the future with the community housing being demolished and the new Waterloo Metro station coming eventually. They have a great little bottleshop attached to the side, friendly blokes working there and cheap prices on beers. Nice and convenient to pick up some longies after work.

Great hotel for a relaxing ale :: Service excellent and laid back vibe makes it a nice place for a beer...Poker machines a plenty if that's your thing and good tab lounge with plenty of TV's..Managed tightly so the place runs well..Good place all round from the management through to staff and the customers :: Rooms available nightly (clean).
