🍔 Burger: perfect! Toasted sesame bun, delicious juicy beef patty, all with nicely picked ingredients 🍔 🍟 Potato fries: nicely cut, not too thin, not too thick, fried to perfect with right amount of seasoning not too salty 🍟 Thick shake: omg! Highly recommend as that’s one of the best thick shakes we have had ☺️And most importantly, such a nice, friendly and welcoming staff which makes your experience great! And here’s the menu 👉

Amazing quality food! I really admire how innovative and responsive this restaurant was to the changing circumstances. Did I have to wait unexpectedly long for my food? Yes. Was it worth it? ABSOLUTELY YES! Whenever we have to change our practices to accommodate new obstacles there will be growing pains but the ability to adapt is something that should always be appreciated. I will be returning to support this wonderful local restaurant ☺️

Have put on 10kgs since I discovered the burgers & fries here, and 1 visit per week morphed into 2 per week, and then into ... well you get the idea. The monthly burger special is always worth a go! Overall, a little gem that Engadine needed

I cannot rate Big Red highly enough! I'm a wanky Melbournian and honestly Big Red absolutely demolishes any brekky I've had back home. Their B&E 2.0 haunts my dreams 🥺 Their staff are also all really lovely humans, so every BR trip is just an all-round fantastic experience. 11/10.

No bitterness in my flat white. Didn't need to add any sugar. It was a cold overcast day and we really enjoyed the toasted banana bread. It was obviously home made and wasn't overloaded with sugar like a lot of other places. Fast service too, despite being busy. The crew were clearly well organised and work well together. First time dining experience a big Red cafe. We were greeted by the friendly staff we placed our orders and they were filled quickly and efficiently. The food was fantastic and well priced. The coffee was also very nice. The cafe has a warm comfortable setting with seating inside and out. The cafe was quite busy but not noisy at all. A very comfortable delicious lunch. This is definitely on our list to visit again.

As a decaf drinker I really love that Big Red freshly grind their decaf, it which makes a world of difference! My favourite cafe in Engadine for decaf (and I tried them all)! Additionally, their chips are amazing! Crisp on the outside, fluffy inside and awesome seasoning!

Fantastic coffee and a great team of friendly young people serving it up. I’m very picky about my coffee and I think theirs is the best in Engadine (although I do get that coffee is a personal taste). So good in fact that I won’t even use their loyalty card. Their text ahead service is also great, you can grab your coffee and zip across to the station to catch a train.

I have been wanting to eat here since it I opened as I love their use of a shared business space. This is an Indian restaurant near the station that opens at 5pm each day. Never eaten there. So this cafe comes in and shares the space every morning until about 3 pm. Great location for a really good coffee. All decor and signage is removable and at night you wouldn't know it was here. Great idea. There should be better use of shared spaces like this. Coffee is really good and lunch burgers are pretty impressive.

Best cafe I've been to in a long time! The staff are beautiful and make you feel right at home. Coffe was great too and ideal for brunch or a sunday morning hangover cure. If you want to support local businesses give these guys the attention they deserve!
