Staff were so warm and friendly. Service was quick. I ordered a jaffle (an Aussie classic!) with baked beans and cheese. The flavour was fantastic. Tumeric and other sources added a warmth and depth of flavour. It worked really well. Very tasty. Great coffee. Food on display was fresh. Good decor and vibe. I wish I lived locally so I could come back and try more of the menu.

Lovely Cafe right in the top of High St Penrith!! Pretty easy to find parking compared to Cafe Upstairs. Caring, friendly thoughtful, helpful wait staff, looks like they are part of the family not just employees!! Bosses: treat your staff like these girls and your business will THRIVE!!! Really casual place, chairs and wall benches don't really encourage you to stay long though!! Plenty of coffee and soft drink options, all day 'no rules' menu, (breaky all day any way you like it!!) reasonable prices (actually my favourite gluten free cashew vanilla slice is $0.50 cheaper than their other Cafe Upstairs!!!). Meals look very tempting and very well priced. Check out the blackboard menu for yummy specials. Gotta try it out!!

My go to when I want a good coffee. Consistently great at coffee. I'm yet to be disappointed after many coffees from Cafe Fred. The staff are always attentive, quick and friendly. Oh, and I shouldn't forget the food - great snacks. I've had wraps, BLATs, yogurt cups etc. ....all great!

They know how to do a proper poached egg and their meal servings are a generous size. However, while their cappuccinos are good, they have way too much froth and you end up with only a half a cup of coffee. That's my only complaint.

Find the cafe through google for the best cafe in Penrith. Give a try today and I agree!! I ordered the wife .. it was delicious!! Crispy and tasty!! Easy to find and the waitresses were nice!! I’ll be back for sure to try their coffee...

Jaffels were awesome!! Bit pricey for just two waffles and two coffees, shame there is no deal available for them.. place was clean and tidy.. one staff member, sweet girl with dark brown hair was so helpful and polite but the other blonde one was not as helpful.. cafe customer service is a must, sometimes that may be the difference between keeping customers and loosing customers.. Not sure about buying muffins and slices that have been sitting exposed on the counter all day but... Overall but a great place and coffee was reasonably good..

This is excellent. Staff simply fantastic they remember all regulars even me who calls in every time I am up at Penrith for work. Like this morning had not been here for about 4 weeks walked in "Hello Wayne.... want your sandwich" wow and the quality of the food second to none .
