I drove up from Anna Bay and co- for scallops and one lot of chips it’s well worth the drive and it’s a Riffic scallops and they’re nice big sick chips I recommend them for the excellence in making scallops and chips in my recommendation I reckon they are the best in Nelsons Bay from MWH

Came on a Sunday for brekky. Didn't need to book, sat inside although outside was more popular. Nice food, quick service and good staff. Had a brekky roll on Turkish bread for $16 and a good milkshake $5. Serving was a decent size but could of done with a little more for the price. Situated just back from the beach, parking isn't a problem.

Had a late afternoon lunch here yesterday and loved everything about the whole place. The food was really delicious, loaded with lots of fresh herbs and ingredients. The decor and atmosphere was excellent, could see myself sitting here having a beverage and enjoying the atmosphere of an afternoon. There's an awesome back deck area that is tucked out of the way and great place to sit. The staff where really genuine and friendly. The amenities where clean and suitable for the area. I will be definitely returning here for a meal or beverage.

TL;DR: Good coffe, bad food, good atmosphere The place had lots of seating and a wine store attached but the sauce on my breakfast Burger wasn't very good and the eggs had a weird black stuff on the bottom from the grill that made it taste kind of like seafood. Also the eggs left a bad taste in my mouth.

UPDATED REVIEW: unfortunately the quality of the food here has changed and so is the vibe of the place. Probably due to a change in the staff, the food is not as "home made" and prepared with passion as it was before. So, the food here is now not worth its price anymore, as in addition to the lower food quality, portions are also smaller and price is bigger. I didn't find the staff as friendly and welcoming as they were in the past and not all the beers were available during my last visit. Hopefully next time I will visit they will raise the bar 🤷 I'd give 6 stars if I could! The staff here is nice and welcoming and the food is just superb. Excellent presentation and sublime flavours combined with passion for home made ingredients. Reasonable price and beautiful area to be in. Special place, warmly recommend.

Just stopped by this lovely local cafe to recharge after walking from Little Rocky to Fingal Bay during the Easter weekend. I was pretty hot after the long walk and craving for a fresh frappe, they offer fresh squeezed juices here and I asked if they could do that as a frappe and blend it up with some extra ice. It was divine and I really appreciate them doing that for me! A mix of fresh orange, beetroot, ginger and some other veges, it was the best thing ever as a pick me up coupled with one of their fresh baked muffins (raspberry, almond, coconut), one of the best muffins I’ve ever had as it was super fluffy, moist, not too sweet or heavy. The service was spectacular too, the guy was so friendly and we had a lovely chat about what it was like to live in the area as a local. Loved it and would definitely recommend a stop by here if you’re in the area!

Just when you thought you'd find no food you come across this. Wonderfully rustic hole in the wall full of local flavour - enjoy the modern menu and mini bottle shop with surprising variety - and strike up a convo with the friendly locals. Somehow in 30m2 they have fit in what feels like a pub cafe and bottle-o ... The miniature 2-perosn booths look like they might have been made for Covid times but they are so close you won't get much privacy....
