Had high hopes for what many said was the best shakshuka around. However it was cooked over an induction cooktop with no time in the oven. The Egg was completely nuked to oblivion. The lemonade however is a must try for any visitors! Super tangy and authentic.

Great place to visit for Meditteranean food in a cozy setting! For those not familiar with Shakshuka, it's a Middle Eastern dish with bright colours, a kick of spice and poached eggs. It's a great alternative to traditional breakfast items. Here, they have something called a Malawachshuka, which is a blend of Shakshuka and Malawach (a thick pancake made with puff pastry). Also recommend the lemonade! Only $1 extra with a dish.

I discovered Chapter E on the second day of my trip to Sydney, and subsequently ate here three times during my four days in the city. The staff are friendly, the coffee was delicious, and the food was lovely and fresh - and so reasonably priced! Special mention to the 'mix and match' plate (be sure to try the falafel, and the avocado salad). I'll make a point to visit every time I'm back in Sydney!

Great little cafe with a range of Middle Eastern options. Falafels are good, obviously and the hummus is pretty great. Decent coffee, too and a lot of things on the menu which sound pretty great. I'm keen to try some of the other options, like the shashuka eggs. Will definitely be back

Our favourite neighbourhood barista, with outstanding coffee crafted with a smile, and a great selection of pastries, sandwiches, smoothies and meal options with a Mediterranean and Israeli flair. Came across this place with no initial expectations and initially wasn't sold based on first impressions. However, the guy at the counter was friendly and immediately attentive. He offered us assistance, and gave us recommendations being vegan. I chose the falafel wrap, and boy was I glad I did. The wrap was delicious, and flavoursome with such gorgeous soft bread. The coffee was also great. Highly recommended for a quick bite, and I think the friendly service added to the experience.

OMG it was the best I have ever tried! I had a bite while driving and had to pull over and continue to finish the whole wrap! Treat yourself to a slice of Tel Aviv fast food magic. You won’t find a more welcoming host or a more delicious Middle Eastern wrap anywhere. Try the one with the wicked Yemeni bread - probably the closest you’ll ever get to Yemen!

Affordable and Unique It’s hard to find something similar not only in Potts point but in the whole Sydney. Really like Israeli food and this place representing some of the popular meals in a good quality. I tried few things and was happy. Would be awesome if they had more Israeli deserts and pastry. Maybe some authentic music will also create a good atmosphere. But anyways this experience worth of giving a try

We’ve had breakfast here almost every day and tried a lot of different meals already: Malawach, Sweet malawach, chicken wrap, falafel wrap, all a 10/10 The brownies and croissants are amazing, too! Delicious lunch and friendly service. We ordered a dish unique to them that starts with M, can't remember what it was called, but a delicious fluffy bread (like a flat croissant) covered in hummus, boiled egg, eggplant, pickles etc. DELICIOUS. And added a refreshing mint lemonade for only $1. Can't believe we've passed by so many times without stopping. We will absolutely be regulars now!

This food you will not forget. The variety, the flavour, the simplicity. And all for very reasonable price. The service was personal and warm. It's a shame the place is so small, really only a few small tables! No parking in the area I suggest to use public transport, Kings cross station is not far.

Chapter E exceeded our expectations tremendously. The chai latte was excellent and one of the best I've had in Sydney and the food was wonderful. We loved our falafel and chicken wraps. They also provided samples for falafels and pita chips which were amazing and now I know to order the pita chips next time I go. Great value and fantastic food. What more can you ask for.

We had breakfast special $10 bacon egg roll with coffee. It was really good. Forget to take photo. That bacon roll bread is very nice type of premium bread and huge, we were Very full. Coffee is very nice too. A great meal remind us why we love our Australian cafe shop as we just back from two months overseas trip from Chile, this is our first proper breakfast in two month and it is exceptional good. I also ordered their green fresh juice call detox. It was Huge I think around 600ml as it is exactly same beer glass I bought from Ikea =D. Shop owner or manger told me they are specialise in middle East food like Shakshuka, and they made their own creation as Malawachshuka, it's shakshuka cooked inside of middle East flat bread . Woo can't wait to try tomorrow.

the place is totally overrated. I went there to try shakshuka, because of the good reviews. i wouldn't say it was really bad, but nothing spectacular either. I enjoyed the bread, but humus had too much oil in it (oil literally dripping). i had a feeling the tomato base was from the can. the whole dish was over sugared, over salted and over flavored. the stuff was very friendly.

The "Chapter E's Shakshuka" tasted great and even it contains chili it's not hot at all! My boyfriend don't like spicy food, but he can't taste any little spicyness. The staff was very very friendly, I had to reject my food, because there was cheese on top (I hate cheese) and the menu doesn't told about it. Without arguing, I get a new one without cheese! The juices are very big and cheap for their size. We tried the "Energiser", it was really yummy. Thums up for price, staff, food and the hole "Chapter E"!!!
