Comments of Cherry Pie Cafe
M.
Stopped in late afternoon so only coffee to sustain the trip home. Good coffee with milk not overheated. Cherry pie is the plan for the next time we pass.
Update-cherry pie is great. Full cherries inside, no filler, great taste and top notch pastry - short, crusty and not sweet.
Had a black coffee this time and not so good. Made up by GREAT hot chips!
S. B.
We were on a road trip, so unfortunately won't be back for awhile. This was a hidden gem we found while stopping for fuel, and was well worth grabbing some takeaway. Tastes home made, and good serving size. Definitely don't miss trying this pie if you're in the area!
T. E.
Dropped in for Brunch. Bill ordered Big brekkie with coffee and I had poached eggs. As can be seen by the photo the big brekkie was huge and my poached eggs were perfectly cooked. Bill said the coffee was really good. We followed with a peice of Cherry pie (not because we needed it, just because it looked good, it was). No pic of that it didn't last long enough. For around $30 that was a very substantial meal for two. The food arrived quickly considering how busy they were and the staff were friendly. Toilets were clean. Well worth the stop.
C. P.
Cherry pie was delicious as usual.
Service is always slow usually only one server.
If not raining the outdoor seating is great.
The single toilet is usually overcrowded and often dirty the bowl is cracked on the right hand side so if sitting be warned.
The outside could often do with a good clean but like I said very limited staff
P. L.
Great pies! I must admit it was a serendipitous lunch break as we were just getting fuel across the road. If I’m ever driving past again I’ll 100% stop to try their other options!
D. R.
Coffee great, pie great. Sadly the 2 staff were so busy that they were struggling to keep up with cleaning tables. They were doing the best they could and I saw one empty the bin, make coffee, serve at the counter and get the pie orders together. The other was serving and cooking. Clearly there needs to be another staff member.
L. B.
Delicious cherry pie with cream...add a cappuccino. A great break from driving AND support a local business rather than a multi-national.
b. k.
I will never forget them good costumer service. Unforgettable test of coffee ☕️. Cherry 🍒 pie 🥧 was the best thing I have ever eaten in my entire life till now . Over all they where mind blowing. Guys when ever you will visit that side that’s the place you should miss that place..
D. T.
Stopped in yesterday just before 12 noon Friday. Went to order chicken roll with gravy, the lady who was so rude stated "no gravy we close at 12 all that is available is what you see". No problem with that except for her rudeness totally non friendly.
M. W.
Best cherry pie in the world. Bought 1 on the way to the Gold coast to share with family. Bought 3 pies on the way back to Sydney. Freezing 2. Not to be missed
R. M.
Best Cherry pie I ate so far. Very fresh at reasonable cost. Worth stopping over on the Pacific HWY. Easy parking, great service.
C. F.
Stopped here and tried the Cherry pie and coffee. Cherry pie was made with fresh cherries, tasted like it had just come out of the oven. Highly recommend however I wish there had been more whipped cream or fresh cream instead of the can stuff. Pie this good feels like it deserves fresh cream. For $7.50 though it was fair. Coffee was better than expected, I’d order again.
Edit for clarity: It is cream from a can ‘freshly’ sprayed on to my plate. Still delicious and not a criticism just saying it’s great pie deserves great cream.
J. B.
Cute little cafe and a great pit-stop that sells cafe food and their namesake cherry pies. You can purchase the pies whole or per slice. There is also an art corner for you to peruse while you wait for your food. Friendly service, fair prices and delicious cherry pies -
V. C.
We were doing the East Coast, and I search the place in Google and it said it is the best Cherry Pie in New South Wales... and I agree. It was delicious! 7.50 the slice with cream. Nice spot to stop for a coffee and something to eat while you are in the road. Clean place and friendly staff.
l. l.
Great coffee and good roadhouse food. Staff were run off their feet. An extra person could help them with clearing and wiping down tables.
P. E.
Beef burger was great. The crispy chicken was on the dry side. The toilets could do with a clean.
D. L.
For a Pacific Hwy road side Cafe in a small but seemed very vibrant country town. This place do serves up phenomenally good food. Ok you do pay the prices for it, but it's worth it. I had their WORKS BURGER. It was served up straight (today's) large size, maybe in years past that was the standard size. Now it set me back almost $16, but just that one burger lasted me the entire day! And it was done to all today's health conscious standards. Low salt even down to the BBQ sauce. Low fat, lean meat, and a whole lot of country style goodness! I even think that one burger is almost done to the Keto diet standards! Would love to go back there again whenever I drive past Coolongolook NSW!
W. D.
Driving the highway in need of a toilet and tucker break, one of the best places to discover in your travels.
Clean amenities.
Great service.
Excellent food.
Wonderful to a shop like this busy.
K. R.
Probably the nicest cherry pie ever eaten. Big fresh cherries inside, well done guys, will visit each time we travel south.
P. S.
Discovered this little gem by accident. We drove from Sydney up to Port Macquarie and needed to stop for food. It was very difficult to find something on road side. We were hungry and had to stop for a break. The cherry pie there was very yummy! So unexpected! We also had hot chicken roll which basically big bread roll with roast chicken and gravy inside. It was very home cooking feel. Would definitely stop by and eat there again if driving pass next time.
M. M.
Coffee to die for & curried egg sandwiches were absolutely delicious !! Compliments to the staff as they were friendly & accommodating 😊 the older lady went to look for a pen to take my order of coffee & 2 b&e rolls, so I opted for the egg sandwiches instead, glad I did🤩
S. F.
Good cherry pie however wish it were served warmer. Likes that it was not too sweet. Also it's right odd so a convenient place to stop for a delicious food stop!
L. M.
Was soooo looking forward to finally trying the famous Cherry pies shop Cherrie pie. Sad to say it wasn't that great, $7.50 for a tiny piece of pie that my Grandmother would be VERY dissapointed with. Sad!!
S. T.
Conflicted, normally our goto stop point for the last few years now but must be low on staff.. toilets were dirty and waited 5 minutes for line to progress but didn't so kept driving and stopped at port Mac service centre instead. Will still give it another go next time.
R. L.
Friendly staff usual fast food offerings plus cherry pies . place could do with a refresh. Tastes like fresh fish in fish and chips.
K. O.
Now up for sale. Not sure whether its the building or business.
Looks like a new garage going opposite them heading north.
Cherry pie delicious, coffee ok, bacon and egg roll not too bad.
L. D. (.
Milkshakes were great, cherry Pie is definitely a worth trying. Ground level parking at front of shop and downn the side. Easy wheel chair access and toilet inside. Hamburgers looked great.
J. R.
Went there for my mums birthday. Super friendly. Had the eggs benny, toasted mushrooms and the fried chicken and everything was excellent and delicious. The coffee was awesome and the almond hot chocolate was scrumptious.
The service was excellent super quick and the atmosphere was lovely. 100% would go there again. (Dog friendly - we had 3 big dogs with us and there was no issue)
P. B.
Called in while travelling.service was fantastic. Coffee very enjoyable. Food fantastic. Especially the slice of cherry..pie😃
A. A.
have great savoury pies, but the best is the original cherry pie. Still regret not getting a whole one when we passed through here.
A.
Drove all the way from Sydney for these pies. Great cherry taste, not sickly sweet and the pie base is very spongy almost a little cakey. Everyone loved it! Very happy with the flavour and service. We couldn't wait till we got home so we started eating one
J. S. A.
This place is absolutely great. My partner and I drove Syd-Bris one day and saw Andy’s Cherry Pie Cafe, thought “that looks good...” so we stopped by on the way back. Classic Aussie burger-with-the-lot, the sort you can’t get in Sydney because all the burger shops here do American-style now. It was huge, delicious and enough for two of us. It’s a shame that we didn’t have much appetite at this point of the trip or we might have had room for the cherry pie - which looked excellent.
If you’re driving the Pacific Highway, Andy’s Cherry Pie Cafe is a must-visit. We sat outside and watched the chickens run around. A lovely break from the road, with great food and friendly staff.
L.
Decent enough. Purchased chicken and chips with the namesake cherry pie for dessert. The food was okay. Only has one bathroom, but it was clean and modern. I don't know if I strongly recommend it here, but if you need to pee and want a snack while driving then there are worse places to stop.
M. A.
Very nice cafe at a convenient stopping point from Newcastle to Port Macquarie. It smelled so great I had trouble choosing what to eat (got some good waffles). Some really nice touches, like local art for sale on the walls; accessible bathroom (handrails and size for people with disabilities, steps and small toilet seat insert for kids); buzzers for when your order is ready so you can walk around while waiting. View behind the cafe where I parked was beautiful. Will definitely be stopping there again.
J. F.
Andy’s Cherry Pie Cafe did not disappoint we ordered the burger with the lot.. meat pattie was home made, the whole burger was generous and delicious, chips were great and there was a choice of sauce too. We also ordered the pancakes with butterscotch sauce.. they were served as small pikelets, very delicious and freshly made with fresh cream yummy!!!!! Good because we were sharing!!
Could not leave without buying a freshly baked cherry pie which we will sample later on our travels.
Rates far better than the food you would have bought in any of the service stations on the same intersection… don’t pass it up
A. C.
Awesome bacon and egg roll and really nice coffee.
R. W.
Friendly service and a convenient place to stop being right on the main road. Cherry pies are fresh and delicious. Burgers are good too. Only down side it is a bit pricey for a take way shop.
P. F.
This place surprised us. A fancy looking petrol station across the road but people were going to Andy's Cherry Pie instead. The food was generous with quick service. We could here people commenting on how great the meals were. The building isn't modern but it doesn't matter. There was a constant flow of happy people and a warm atmosphere. The food was not expensive and we are looking forward to eating our cherry pie!
S. M.
Delicious pie, spotless bathroom. Perfect for a quick break. Also does burgers, fried chicken etc
R. A.
Very nice and delicious cherry pie and creamy coffee. Highly recommend it 😊
J. P.
Nice tasting chicken with good value. The plastered cherry pie went down, would recommend other menu items though. Quiet place during afternoon visit.
M. G.
The cherry pie was ok, tasted like it had a bit too much gelatin in the filling but the crust was fine. Hot chips were great 👍 The woman serving was not friendly at all and is the main reason for the 3 star rating, she clearly didn't want to be working and ignored me when I asked for takeaway and palmed me off to another server. Shame for the business owner because she is quite detrimental.
E. B.
Standard cafe though I didn't try the famous cherry pie!
This was a Pit stop for us. Limited selection of food inside. Not many healthy options, sandwich was the best option. Fried foods, pies, chips etc. Friends had chips and chicken bites and said they were delicious. Not much shade for the kids outside so had to sit inside. Pretty basic interior, unlike the exterior. Prices were OK. $6.50 for a ham cheese tomato sandwhich.
G. M.
Went in just in time for the last slice of their cherry pie, tase so good. Try to go there early for more
N. J.
The cherry pie a nice surprise, bought a whole one and ate it 2 days later, pastry crisp and cherries delicious!
a.
The pies are good. Staff rude and other food trash. Covid safety not managed
N. P.
Great little take away shop.. perfect spot to stop and have a pie
K. W.
The cherry pie was nothing special. Not good value at $7.50. I don't understand why they don't offer a coffee and cherry pie deal. If they offered a slice of pie and coffee for$9.50, I would have bought it. And given them a better review.
M. A.
Nice cherry pies - I liked the pastry - livery crisp and brown
E. W.
Best pie's, every time I'm on my way up the coast i get one for the whole family.
However was a little concerning to see lots of passive aggressive notes stuck all around the work place on freezers & fridges.
Staff seem very unhappy. But besides that the staff always have a smile whilst serving.
N. M.
Called in to Andy's Cherry Pie Cafe on the way to our little get away with the kids.
We ordered just 2 plain burgers with a side of chips.
BEST plain burger I have had in a long while, it had tonnes of flavour and was great value also, the chips were pretty darn good themselves.
Also need to mention that the staff were absolutely excellent and very friendly.
If I'm ever passing through again I'll definitely be calling in.
M. B.
Heard the pies were good, so drove up from Anna Bay 100km south to pick up a couple. Lots of cherries, tasty too.
L. W.
My friends and I visited Andy’s Cherry Pie Cafe on a whim on our drive home to Sydney and we couldn’t have been more pleased. We were initially concerned because we could not see the cherry pies but were pleased to find there were still plenty left (ask because they are located behind the counter). Review of the pie itself: Perfectly flavour balanced filling, crispy crust and crumble-in-mouth short crust pasty. Loved it. The friendly customer service was also worth noting. Totally recommend!
M. P.
Coffee was good, we didn't try any of he food but guess a good spot to have a stop on a long drive.
J. C.
The staff was courteous, bending over backward to help a breakfast rush lineup when I was there. The facilities were clean, and the variety of food and drink on offer looked really good. Unfortunately, the cherry pie I bought was dry and flavourless. Yes, it was made with whole cherries, but the crust was floury, and the filling had nothing to it, practically being a hollow pie. Really disappointing given it's the signature dish.
I. S.
The billboard doesn’t lie; they serve the BEST Cherry Pies! Homemade, warm and delicious The serving size was generous, but wished we had more cream to go with it. Coffee was great too!
G. D.
Great Cafe stop that you really shouldn't miss on a trip up or down the Pacific Highway at Coolongolook. Fantastic coffee and the food looked awesome, even though we didn't have enough time to eat anything. Great service too! We will definitely stop here on every trip up the coast from now on. A great find!
A. T.
Great, hardworking young staff with a bit of tried faces. They made a wonderful coffee. I would highly recommend you to stop there and be very nice to them. They deserve a lot of respect.
J. W.
Every time I go past I grab a cherry pie. Love love them. Pastry is scrumptious and cherry are delish
P. Y.
Delicious cherry pie, yummy coffee and slupees! Not every where will have good coffee but I was surprised my latte was delicious. The breaky menu is small but looked really good and the service was great they were so nice. We'll visit on our way back 👍
J. L.
Best egg and bacon roll Ever! Can't wait to try cherry pie for dinner tonight. Happy helpful staff, great coffee. A new stop for eats on our journeys north from now on.Thank you Ladies!!!!
R. D.
We stopped here on our way to Coffs Harbour from Sydney for a coffee. Conveniently located on Pacific highway @Coolongolook and it’s a nice little cafe right opposite the Mobil gas station. They had a cute cherry truck outside the cafe and also managed contact tracing during the covid times. Good seating available inside and outside with benches in the front yard for families. and yes, a decent coffee too :)
K. H.
Delicious for morning tea. The famous cherry pie was awesome and had the best crust, though I would’ve liked it to be piping hot. The cherry ripe cheesecake was to die for and you can tell it was made fresh. Good location and dog friendly as there is plenty of room to wander outside and have your meal. Friendly staff and fairly quick service, with a decent interior. Only one unisex toilet, but is kept very clean and styled.
N. J.
Food was good but staff were so rude
J. M.
This Cherry pie is the real thing folks. Ignore all the other junk food they're selling, get a pie and get back on the road.
T. D. P.
Great food and a great spot to stop and have a break along the highway.
N. M.
More of a fast food type stop rather than a cafe. Only stopped for coffees on our road trip. Coffee was ok. Asked for baby chinos for the kids and luckily I tasted for temperature first as they were small mochas with actual coffee in them so couldn’t give to the kids. Just make sure you request milk/froth only when asking for a baby chino for kids.
K. W.
Pulled in for a coffee. Ordered a double shot espresso and it was perfect. Staff were friendly too.
T. G.
Cherry pie was superb. I used to live not too far from the Cherry Capital of USA, Traverse City MI. I enjoyed my fair share of Cherry Pies and this is pretty darn good. Real Cherries. Packed with cherries not just a jam or a few cherries with sugar and thickener. Crust was good too. I had it a la mode. Made it even better. The hamburger with the lot was good too. A large size but patty had bread or other "extender" . For $15 was ok.
M. N.
Very friendly staff. Beautiful spot under the tree. Great pancakes!!!
v. n. n.
Good little place to stop over between sydney and goldcoast.
H. P.
We love stopping here on our road trip back home to Sydney. Best cherry pies ever! This time round we had the pleasure of meeting Murrie, the energy that bounces off that man is contagious! Such a sweet bloke.
V. B.
The large cherry pie which I took to eat with my family lived up to my expectations. Was disappointed to see most patrons eating the usual fast, fried foods. The presentation of the cherry pie in the shop was dismal.
C. M.
Do yourself a favour and stop here for a cherry pie. The most delicious pie ever !!! We got our son a small chips aswell and even that was probably the best tasting chips ever! Staff are so lovely. Really wish I knew about this place sooner !
S. A.
Great cherry pie, but slice too small for $7.50. Slice should be a 1/4 of the pie. The cafe is named after this famous pie, it should be plentiful, not stingy.
P. M.
WOW WOW! We go out of our way to go here. The cherry pies are beyond yummy they are the best I have ever had!! So full of flavour and the pastry is gorgeously crumbly and so buttery. Also the fried chicken?!? Ahh amazing flavours the best we have had and the chicken is so moist! Oh and the coffee amazing. Thank you for making food so delicious!!!!
C. S.
Little disappointed on the bacon and egg roll coffee though was good
C. M.
Absolutely delicious as usual. Always a good experience.
K. H.
Only Cherry Pie place known to me. Cherry Pie was amazing. Made with real Cherries. Hubby likes the fake cherry taste so wasn't as keen as me. Need a bit more variety on hot box foods and maybe fresh hot box foods the chicken chippies or pops that I had were spicy that I do remember.
K. C.
Coffee was a bit meh, but you're not going for the coffee. You're going for the cherry pie and it was lovely. Great filling, great crust. Made me want to try my hand at making my own! Had a bit of a takeaway shop vibe but other than that the staff were very friendly and accommodating!
S. M.
Andys was extremely busy while i was there, i only wanted a coffee but had to wait while ppl ordering meals were served. It was a long wait for a very ordinary cool coffee. Its not my first visit but I'd have to be really thirsty to stop again
L. P.
I love the cherry pie! We bought one family pie and bought home to serve with vanilla ice cream. Really is one of the best cherry pies I have had. Also love the crust.
We also had food at the place, my 5yo demolished a premium chicken burger which was very tasty. I ordered a Belgium waffle with toffee sauce and it was such a delight, didn't expect that from a highway stop at all. Will definitely return.
P. E.
Great pie but a little pricey
L. M.
Great place to stop on the highway. Nicer than the travel centre up the road.
A. M. S.
After being recommended by a friend to try Andy’s cherry pie and ordering $50 worth of food we decided to eat outside at the tables in the sunshine.
We were the only family there at the time and had ordered a Whole cherry pie to take away along with various chicken and chip selections to eat outside.
I asked for a knife and had three spoons in my hand to be asked by the owner what I was doing.
I commented on how beautiful the day was and after finishing our food decided to have a slice of pie each before we got back on the road again for our trip to Coffs Harbor to be told that we cannot eat our
Pie outside because it was classed as a take away pie and if we choose to eat out at the empty tables outside we would have to pay $7.50 each for a piece of pie instead of the $23 for the whole pie. I could not believe what I was hearing in the rude mannerism I was hearing it. Are you serious! We spent $50 on an order and givin there was know one outside at your tables, did not think it should of been an issue.
I would of thought you would of appreciated the fact of getting the business in these hard times of COVID 19 and been a little more accomodating rather than being so rude.
Last time at your cafe sadly as the pie was delicious.
B. F.
Could not rate this high enough, the cherry pie was just like the one my nan use to make, the coffee was one of the best I've had in quite a while and service was great , the toilets were quite clean with plentiful parking.
Has been one year on and while passing through we had to stop again just to see if it was a one off , this time I brought six friends with me. Has not changed, fantastic cherry pie and my friends were impressed, I'll be back
S. M.
Nice little cafe with great cherry pies. Take one home
d.
Great tasting coffee and awesome bacon and egg rolls
M. K.
The cherry pie was nice. Coffee could be better.
K. C.
Cherry pie was great, especially the filling. The pastry wasn't a traditional pie crust but still good. I'm a coffee fusspot and I reckon my soy flat-white was the best I've had outside of Sydney. The place was open on Easter day which was a bonus. I'll definitely be back for coffee on my way through again.
J. S.
Didnt have a cherry pie but the big breaky was absolutly disgusting will never stop there again do yourself a favour drive up the rd to taree and grab a feed... i am not a robot ok you sell 50 a day but i bet you dont have return customers just people going past who will never stop in again
M. A.
Always a great rest stop on the way up or down the coast. Grab some Fried Chicken, its some of the best around. Cherry pie is excellent.
A. F.
The chicken and cherry pie is out of this world. I will drive up again from Sydney just to eat there again.
b. c.
Remote location, just off expressway . Loved the Cherry pie, only had a slice but will be tempted to buy a whole one and take away next time. Friendly staff
L. P.
Whilst the home made cherry pie is delicious and worth stopping for the surprise is how good their fried chicken tastes. I'll definitely be stopping there again and again.
S. D.
A nice place for weary road travellers like us to stop for bite to eat and a drink. Roast beef rolls were fresh and hot and the salad wraps were good. Friendly service and reasonably priced. Will stop in again if we head that way in the future
S.
Love the cherry pie. The person who gets the pip pays next time
D. A.
Andy's Cherry Pie Cafe is clean and inviting and the two lady's behind the counter were as friendly as could be. I ordered a milk coffee which was rather ordinary. It wasn't very warm and their cups seemed pretty small too.
I also ordered a slice of their cherry pie. It came with a little pouring cream and some whipped cream and the pie was absolutely delicious so much so I also bought a whole pie. You must try the pie!
N. C.
We've visited a couple of times now. The cherry pie is very very good and not over priced. There is only one bathroom which is the only let down given its a great place to stop on a long drive.
I. W.
A lovely little Café you can‘t miss on your way from Sydney to Brisbane.
We‘ve had a good coffee and delicious pie!
Everyone was really friendly.
D. W.
My husband and I stopped at Andy's Cherry pie cafe on our way back from Port Macquarie. It was the best bacon and egg roll we've ever tried! After having one my husband went to order another one 😆 Highly recommended 👍🏼
S. B.
Best Cherry pies is true. I buy one for myself and all the family and friend orders every time I go up and down the coast. Their coffee and crumbed chicken are also fantastic. Rest rooms and building are very clean.
E.
Great little pit stop if you're traveling through. The food was delicious and their milkshakes are as original as they come. The cherry pie was decent enough, however too rich to have too much of.
M. E.
AMAZING!!
It's the only word to describe this correctly. Not only do I drive from Sydney to get a slice of this amazing pie, I tell everyone that I hear is headed past the shop, that they have to stop and get a slice too. And not one single person has been disappointed.
Do yourself a favour and head there for a slice!
D. L.
The big breakfast was amazing!!! Thanks guys
R. F.
Stopped there for a rest break and buy some food. Ordered chips from the shop. It was tasty. My toddler accidentally dropped the box of chips to the ground. The owner gave us fresh chips for free. Great owners. Highly recommended.
J. G.
My partner really enjoyed the cherry pie as he has been going past for 5years.I enjoyed lactose free Cappachino then a gluten free lemon pie it was loverly. Thanks we will back.Jillian
C. B.
I dunno about the rest of the menu. But CHERRY PIE!
Saw this place as we were driving by and had to do a U-turn. Happy we did. Big slice of pie with a whole bunch of cream. Very tasty.
R. S.
Pies for all, local cops love it!
S. S. M.
Awesome service with delicious cherry pie! Great Coffee too. This place served as a great stop on our road trip to the NSW north coast.
S. C.
The best cherry pie you can get! Plenty of other foods and great coffee. Excellently placed for a stop, revive & survive.
A. H.
I went on a Saturday afternoon. The staff were very friendly and happily accommodated my allergies by cooking me a separate meal. Also it's lovely to see the local artwork that was displayed around the cafe. A great experience overall.
R. L.
Stopped to get some breakfast and saw many buying cherrie pies so I bought 1, absolutely awesome. Makes my decision wether to drive or fly easy, guess the km on the car will be rising.
S. H.
Good for a quick bite, yummy cherries during summer
L. E.
Freshest waffles I’ve ever had.
This place is absolutely gorgeous from the staff , to the food to the easy location.
Andy’s cherry pie cafe is totally underrated and I can’t recommend it enough to anyone who hasn’t stopped by. Was also a pet friendly place which our puggles very much enjoyed
M. H.
Just stopped here on the way to Coffs. Great little store with good service and yummy pies. Recommend the steak and mushroom pie and sausage roll.
N. S.
Ange was so accommodating for us...esp considering that they were closing in 10mins. She made it possible to get dinner for our boys (2 & 4 years) after a long road trip back to Brisbane. The food was cooked perfectly and served perfectly. The pie was yummy and my salad was perfect! Thank you for making our trip easier!
A. B.
just called in for a coffee, great coffee, easy parking, great service, good experience can recommend.
P. B.
Have stopped at Andy's Cherry Pie Cafe a few times now on my travels north. Its on the left as you travel north through Coolongolook and there is plenty of easy parking. The food is excellent as is the coffee; and the facilities are spotless and wheelchair accessible.
S. C.
Just another cafe, nothing exceptional and the cherry pie is over priced. We had better expectations than the experience we got.
N. D.
Not sure what the other food is like but the cherry pie is good. We got a whole one takeaway and it had just come out of the oven. Went down like a dream between 4 people
R. F.
We always stop here for a yummy Cherry pie and coffee. The menu is great also.
Y. s.
Great pies, we stop and get one each time we drive down the highway, and the chicken and chips are amazing
D. R.
Very friendly staff which is important when having a break on a road trip. The milkshake filled the spot and the cherry pie was well received at home.
J. G.
Kris and Nikki are pie angels!!! We rushed to get there at 5 and saved us two beautiful chery pies. Totally made our trip back to Sydney worth it. Drop in and see them!! Thanks girls xx
K. A.
Lovely place for stop over. Best local food.
L. S.
This is an amazing place where the food tastes AMAZING and they are so kind! After a burger chips and coffee was not mentioned and therefore not put on the meal the cook made the food and drink in 4 minutes then had already bought it out for us. So kind and I’d recommend this place to everyone who passes by or live nearby
R. J.
I gave this amount of stars because the fact was that because they didn't have enough workers they were slow with service but the food itself was quite nice and the chef was a bit on the cheeky side as well which was good to see considering the year
T. C.
Yumm....yumm and yumm again! Thanks for a very satisfying meal and the most delicious cherry pie! Even grabbed an extra to take home. Will make it a regular stop when visiting down south. Thanks for Kris for your happy friendly face and the lovely chef Tammie, great steak sandwich. 😊
t. k.
cute spot, great location, classic food offers :D
p. d.
Great cafe for a quick bite to eat, good variety of food to select from & don't forget to try the cherry pie it's delicious.
B. R.
Nice coffee and the staff were really lovely. And if you want a little something special they sell delicious lemon butter. I have not tried them but they also have some tasty jams and chutneys
B. P.
This photo is of my dog who is a pack-a-day smoker, but the café is wonderful. Great food and amazingly friendly service.
T. S.
Seriously delicious coffee! I will make the effort to stop for a cup every time I am driving north. Didn't have any food (some of it looked very pricey for a take-away) but the desserts/sweets looked really yummy.
D. C.
Very nice little cafe. Well appointed with cakes hot food and coffee. They also had chiko rolls! Great little stop. Be sure to turn off highway onto side street. Plenty of parking there.
D. B.
Clean toilet 🚽 during the road trip
C. B.
Chirpy Miss Kris makes great coffee & you even get to put your own lid on! 🙏
QR Code checkin & well marked out with all the Covid floor markers 👍🏻
j. c.
Staff were very obliging. And frendly. We were going to order a couple of chicken wings to snack on but at $3.50 each we decided to pass on that idea. So sad when business's put their prices so high that many people decide to go without.
If their price was a bit more resonable more people would buy and of course the profit would follow.
D. G.
Not a bad little café and the cherry pie is very nice, can be a bit crowded. Not a bad spot to stop if doing a long trip.
J. D.
Just hit this cafe upon closing on a long road trip up north and was needing a cafe fix, saw the giant billboard with that cherry pie and I’m there, Kris went out of her way to prepare 2 containers with cream and utensils, serviettes and a knife to cut that delicious cherry pie.. and a nice strong coffee to keep us going..
Kris did this even as they were closing and she would be late out!!
Thank you Kris sensational!!
G. Y.
Very nice cafe and very friendly staff. Food and coffee was great. Offers a range of jams and preserves for sale as well. If you are looking for a place to stop on your travels, this is highly recommended.
G. H.
Mmm had to walk accross the Highway on the other side to go for a pee. Food great (pie &mushy peas). Bit of a wait no staff. Place needs a face lift.
G. T.
Stopped her while travelling to Coffs and enjoyed great hot dogs (one plain and one kransky)and sandwiches. The other things available (everything from chicken and chips to lambs fry and bacon) looked good as well, and were being enjoyed by others. You can sit inside or out, and there is a toilet, useful to know for travellers.
d. m.
Great cherry pies and fantastic chips! Also very good fried chicken and the coffee is better than average. Thoroughly recommend for a pit stop.
R. W.
Fantastic family cherry pie we bought earler in the year while travelling. Now today we bought 3 family pies to take home. Excellent to share with our families at home. Service wonderful also. Thank you.
I. B.

J. M.
Extremely lovely staff and great food. They were also more then happy to accommodate for my gluten intolerance and they had delicious gluten free bread. Definitely will be going back.
R. I.
Very friendly staff. Cherry Pie is good. They have the best fried chicken though. Would highly recommend their snack packs.

B. H.
Coffee was okay but not $10.10 for two take away coffees good.
Didn’t try the cherry pie as the three slices left didn’t look so inviting.
C. T.
Fried chicken here is better than KFC by a long shot. I keep wanting to try the cherry pie and cream but the few times I've been here I can't stop eating the chicken and end up with no room 😂
E. G.
Great service good food
J. D.
The Cherry Pie is good but their chicken is amazing, get a chicken bacon cheese burger or the poppers and you wont be dissapointed, coffee is great too.

Amazing cherry pie. Go for the cherry pie and pretend you only want a slice (with cream). Then buy a whole pie (you will).
S. L.
Friendly service. Worth it for a stop. Cherry pies fresh out of the oven. The cherry pie was decent but nothing special.
T. B.
Ok for a quick bite and coffee along the expressway. Decent pies, average flat white.
J. R.
Oh my gosh! The chicken is honestly incredible, so tender and full of flavour, and the cherry pie was out of this world. Well done guys!
P. G.
A cool and cozy cafe. Coffee and snacks are freshly cooked and tasty. Pies are great. Nice place to have a break on the highway.

Not sure what the other food is like but the cherry pie is good. We got a whole one takeaway and it had just come out of the oven. Went down like a dream between 4 people

S. G.
So nice to call into on your way north. Plenty of food choices, fast service & pleasant staff. Well worth a stop. Cherry pie 👍
G. G.
Solid fish and chips... If you want tomato sauce it is a a ridiculous 40 cents for a tiny bit of sauce. Same with vinegar. Never tried the desserts but they looked good.
L. C.

K. M.
It was just OK but nothing to write home about. The service was efficient and friendly but the crust on the cherry pie was dried out or the pie was a couple of days old.
L. M.
I would normally rate this a 5 but not this time on last Monday roses chicken was overcooked
T. P.
