A very cozy place, unforgettable friendly staff and good coffee and small eatery. Enjoy the food with the beautiful scenery of Boomerang beach!

The coffee scene in Pacific Palms has come a long way in the last 30 years and cafes like Drift have been a big part of this. Open from early in the morning it’s popular with the locals and holiday-makers alike. Drift offers both eat-in and takeaway options however due to Covid restrictions at present it’s takeaway only, which isn’t a huge problem when you’ve got the best beaches on the coast to sit at while you eat and drink.

The fish tacos are f#(%ing awesome! and the missus reckons the dirty bird burger is the best burger she has ever had. The food is a must if your in Pacific palms.

Great hamburgers, coffee quite nice as well, service prompt. We get ours as takeaway & have our meal at the beach, so they always supply with napkins & culery if needed, just ask & they are quick to oblige.

Quick friendly service despite the saturday morning line. Chips were perfection, fluffy on the inside and crisp on the outside served in a generous portion with plenty of salt. The black coffee was a touch dark for my palate but the barista was attentive and served it warm as requested. will happily come back for more

Now, I should tell you that I am tough customer. The coffee and the breakfast burger here were both top notch. They even offerred to switch out bacon for halloumi in my burger. Certainly happy we came here.

10/10 breaky roll and delicious coffee / hot drinks. When we dropped in it was definitely peak time, however, the staff pumped out our order in no time. Due to COVID we decided it was best not to hang around the cafe - luckily it's in the perfect location to grab some take away and head down to the beach. Will definitely come back if we find ourselves in the area again.

Fabulous coffee. Friendly service. Feel like one of the family whenever I go there! And the hemp slice is so yummy ...just sweet enough for my not so sweet tooth. Fabulous range of gluten free, ciliac friendly treats. Vegos and vegans well catered for too. And did I say fabulous coffee? A definite whenever you're visiting beautiful Pacific Palms.

Every time we come Boomerang we go to Drift cafe everyday. It has the best burgas I've had, better than betties burgas in Noosa and the famous burgas in Queenstown NZ The coffee is also amazing and we highly recommend going and seeing for yourself. I wish we had this cafe where we live
