What a lovely place to stop and rest, take in the view of the surrounding hills and the weir :) walking up the lovely little path in to the cafe you see lots of lil trinkets, rustic glittery things shining bright, preparing you for the welcoming smiles coming to serve you oh so nice Well the food what can I say it was abundant in portion fresh and made instantly to your liking take a look at the pics YUMM! You must try the potato skins Mmmmm They have a BIG Ice cream bar lots of favorite flavors something for everyone, I could not possibly fit one in after lunch but I do intend on coming back just for a ice cream and a lil chit chat with the owner and workers. The store is cutely and quaintly done with lots of nice verses and precious gems lots of lil things to catch your eye.

This cafe has always been a popular icon of the Hume Weir. Out the front there is off-road parking with some shaded areas. An inviting garden path guides you to the side entrance. Friendly staff greeted us and took our lunch order. Our lunch was cooked fast, presented well and tasted great. The real treat there is the ice-cream servery. Plenty of flavours to choose from. The outdoor dining area is quaint and shaded with gorgeous views of the mountains and Lake. There is a kids playground nearby as well. I highly recommend Lake Vue Cafe.

Quiet, quaint Cafe. Filled me with feelings of peace and happiness. It's not far of the bank on Hume Weir. We enjoyed icecream after a lunch in Town. It was a beautiful day and the short 10min drive there, capped off our afternoon perfectly. We had a nice stroll over the Weir wall. Cafe was my 'happy little place'.

My kids and I had a great experience popping in for a quick bite to eat for lunch and an ice cream. Staff were all friendly and I really love the new welcoming decor. This is also an excellent place for the kids as they have a playground to keep them entertained.

Been hear a few times and think the location is great - up on the hill with water views. The decking is particularly relaxing and a great place to have a burger, grilled fish, quality chips, ice cream, coffee etc while being kept cool by a mist generating system ☃️

This is a great cafe, especially if you are visiting near the weir wall. They have icecream for those hot days, or baristed coffee for a recharge. Love this place to bits. Absolutely beautiful place to dine. Fully recommended if you are visiting the Albury/Wodonga region.

Eat here regularly and love the service Brooke and Colleen offer! The Lake Vue Favourite burger is delicious as are the chippies! Beautiful view, great ice cream and staff are up for a laugh.

We took our grandson there for an ice cream and we had coffee, we have been going there for over 30 years the shop has been known for its generous ice creams, we have seen a few different owners/workers. This visit was the best visit ever, the owner? was so friendly and she took the time to speak and interact with our grandson. Our grandson ‘helped’ her get the ice creams and she took him behind the counter to choose what lollies he wanted. Our grandson is 6 and you could see the happiness on his face and he didn’t stop talking about his experience all the way home and as soon as he saw his mum and dad he told them all about it. Only downside of the visit is due to the fact that the owner of the caravan park has built a fantastic park but locals/visitors cannot use it, it’s for caravan park patrons only! What makes me angry is that there was a small park there before which the kids were able to enjoy, now they can only look at this new park, so wrong! I know this issue is stopping locals and visitors alike from visiting Lake Vue Cafe. This is no reflection on the cafe and the food and service they provide! Highly recommend the cafe and it’s food and drinks.

Lovely location. Although a regular visitor to the wall over the years, a first for this venue. Sunny winters day gave us the option of sitting outside instead of the cozy, warm seating inside. Great food, (fish and fish and chips) friendly staff, nice coffees. Will visit again soon

Amazing service and very welcoming. Colleen was awesome and made the best coffee we have had in a long time. ( we are from sydney )Girls were training but had big smiles and didn't feel like we had to wait any longer than normal. Definitely recommend you make this one of your stops.

Service was very friendly. Food was fantastic. The Chips were hot and fresh and my chicken burger was amazeballs. Only down side was the decor. It looked like an Ishka store had exploded in the dining area. So many Buddha statues and paintings and even an incense gift shop in the cafe. Couches had covers from a 1960s hippie drug blanket. Not very groovy baby. Other than my eyes beginning to bleed it was fantastic! Definitly recommend to blind people.

PARK NOT OPEN TO CAFE CUSTOMERS!!! We used to visit once every few weeks. We would let the kids have fun on the park, order lunch and top it off with an ice cream for everyone at the end. But now the park owner has put a $10 price tag to use the park even if you are paying $50-$100 on food. Absolutely disgraceful. We won't be visiting again and I feel for the cafe owners who will notice the familys never returning.

Excellent service very friendly and efficient. The food is very reasonablely priced. They offer both table service and take away. They also have a large range of ice cream which is very desireable and making a choice is not always easy as they all look good. Highly recommend a visit.

The place to be if you're a fan of fish and chips and wedges!!! Great location overlooking the lake. And yes, don't leave the place without having a scoop or two of their creamy ice cream!!!

The cafe is small but on the hill above the Hume Weir, in the summer it sells a variety of hot and cold foods and drinks plus ice creams and drinks, you can book holiday cabins there for overnight, weekend or weekly stays! A true holiday place with swimming pool and childrens playground! Boating and skiing is possible if the weir is not too low for them, a lovely spot not far from Wodonga or Albury on the NSW and Victorian border! Best to book early as can get booked out quickly!!
