Such a nice place with Lovley staff, charming, friendly and also professional and caring.
We had avo toast and added a polished egg, as well as Apple& almond Bircher.
Both were doing good, especially the avo toast.
Also got an almond croissant which was freshly baked and so good.
Coffee was also good and pricing was fine.
Parking might be a bit tricky, but was ok.

A weekend with little to do saw us take a trip down south in search of a surf and some good food and coffee. The beaches and cafes were packed but we were glad google provided the goods and led us to a cafe off the Main Street, on the tree lined Moore St. It still had the seaside suburb, smell of the sea but yet without the crowds. That said there was still a queue with cafe goers like us keen for a quality meal. Not only a few tourists, but also locals with their straw hats, linen overalls and dogs chilling over a cup of coffee in the arty ceramic cups.
We love the feel and vibe of this cafe, an old school vintage / hip vibe, with a mix of wooden and metal tables, bench seating at the window and white walls with their wooden shelves full of antique kitchen gear and bottles of relishes, preserves, cartons of eggs and empty baskets where there’s normally loaves of Pane Paradiso bread for sale (the popularity of the day had seen them sell out).
The front counter has a cabinet with pastries and cakes.
The menu here is great, focusing on whole foods, commuted to sustainable practices and local suppliers. They have a great variety of dishes from the Kangaroo Valley Eggs to an almond Bircher or a Gruyere toastie to name a few.
We’re informed that they’re out of a lot of things due to being so busy which was great to know ahead of time. Luckily the dishes we wanted were available. The Green scramble was brilliant, the eggs mixed with sautéed chard and verde topped with Meredith Dairy goats feta and tomatoes. This vegetarian dish was sitting atop some of the best sourdough we’ve ever tasted.
We also opted for the free range pulled pork tacos on blue corn tortillas, served with a pineapple chutney and slaw. This was a super tasty dish and generous in size.
They also have excellent coffee, using Single 'O Killer Bee. Tastes of dark honey, toffee, tropical fruits, sweetness and acidity, we had both a latte and an iced latte. We especially love that the milk based coffees come in a range of cool ceramic cups.
Coffee alternatives such as Organic mate latte, Organic Dandy latte, Turmeric Latte, kombucha, smoothies, locally made teas or cold pressed juices are also available.
Considering how busy it was, we were impressed with the speed and also the efficiency and positivity of the staff. We look forward to visiting again.

Try the fresh sourdough when you pick up your coffee. And try not to break off the crusty ends and nibble before you get this one home. The croissants are also a buttery delight. Their breakfast plates are tasty, too.

A great little Austie Cafe with a charming atmosphere and great food.
Located just off the main thoroughfare with plenty of easy parking nearby, not the cheapest but this is a great place for brunch. The avacado with any meal are a must, and their eggs are cooked perfectly runny. Be warned, they use the American definition of 'hash' so you'll get thickly diced potato and not a hash brown.
I recommend their smoothies, the banana one is lovely and is enough by itself to fill you up!

My favorite place for breakfast or lunch, no doubt. The menu changes often depending on what’s in season. The food is always fresh and delicious, the quality of the coffee is really good, and the specials change everyday. The staff is caring and lovely. Perfect place for a coffee, smoothie, brunch, or even buying great quality bread or coffee beans. A truly jewel in the Illawarra. 😊

Good joint !
Young and on it, I’m a big fan of hospitality professionals doing it right like this crew.
If there was one suggestion if I may ... it would be to engage folk as they enter as the place has a vibe and one wants to belong so a little welcome will help (me anyway) feel welcome.
Teapots tea leaves lovely mix of table ware excellent rich chocolate cake, will make it our go to in Thirroul it’s that kinda place.

First time eating there. By far the best avo toast that I have ever had and I have had hundreds. Cool friendly staff too. 10 out of 5 stars!!

What an amazing cafe this is! Food was incredible & the best breakfast I have had in a long time!! Highly recommend. Go early to get a table as it gets packed!! We had to wait 15 minutes but it was worth it. Fantastic coffee in gorgeous large mugs too.

Great coffee. Great food. Nice vibe. Best little cafe on the Coal Coast methinks. Found after scoping on Google Maps for a stop on my way to Wollongong. Exceeded expectations.

It would be a 5+ for food - really enjoy the food here! But the service couldn’t have been any worse. We visited a few weeks ago for the second time bc we LOVED it so the first time. Two girls just ignored us for about 20 minutes while we waited at the door - just kept walking past us and never once “we’ll be right with you” or anything (and they weren’t crazy busy), then were quite dismissive when we were seated, and brought us juice - one with ice one without and when I asked if I could get some in mine the response was “oh, we ran out, I’ll have to get some more” a bit bothered that I asked, our meal ordered got messed up and we were given the wrong one and then two minutes later she came back “did you touch this?” And then gave it to another table. Our actual meal came 30min later after my partner had long finished his. We hope it was just a bad day because we love everything else about the spot! Going back with high hopes.

This and Earth Walker are the two cafes in Wollongong that make resteraunt quality cafe food always blown away when I eat here. Went halves with my partner in the cauliflower toastie and the lentil pumpkin dish - amazing, so bloody good yum yum yummm

My favourite place to visit to visit when South of Sydney. The breakfasts are consistently good and the gruyere toasties are a nice treat. Bring back the potato chats though guys, they were amazing with the fermented chilli!

Lovely staff who are very friendly and accommodating. The food and coffee itself was so good we came to eat two days in a row. On the second day I was saddened I didn't see any more of that delicious caramel slice 🤤

Good coffees, freshly prepared food. The bread is made by the kitchen staff at the church across the road meaning it's fresh. The menu isn't massive but that is definitely not an issue as what they serve is delicious. The only reason it didn't get a 5 star is because service could be a little bit quicker.

Great coffee, food and service, even during lockdown

Great atmosphere, friendly staff always welcoming and happy. Always good music playing. Coffee is delicious best almond milk in town! Katie does a great job creating a happy professional cafe.

One of the better eat outs in the Illawarra. This place has a quality atmosphere that goes along with their quality good. They take it a step further too...it's not just tasty but the food is sourced form local and well intentioned businesses. It's easy to run a cafe in this world and make money but the way Moore Street goes the extra step on each and every thing makes me comfortable spending money there and wanting to keep going back! Keep it up guys!

Totally love this small cafe. Great service, nice quiet location (well, it is off-season!) and really great food with plenty of vegan options. Love it!

Our new favourite place on the Coal Coast for great coffee and good vibes. If you have ever stopped into Bellingen near Coffs, then you know what I am talking about ... eclectic, with a hippy-laid back feel. The food dazzles with fresh, quality ingredients sourced locally. The menu is creative and inspiring. Definitely a must to stop in.

Great food and coffee. Has wheelchair access to tables outside but has a step when you need to pay.
M. D.
Pleasant outlook over a wide leafy street.
Friendly staff.
I liked the coffee, it has a nutty flavour when enjoyed as a long black!

A nice quaint cafe, had a great brunch here while on a drive down the grand pacific drive. They were playing nice Beatles music while we were there too! 😊 I’d love to come back next time I’m in town.

Love it here. Coffee is great, staff are great. And our favorite place for muffins if we are early enough to get in before they sell out.
