Gem of a cafe for a country town. Converted weather board house and garden. Food is very good and good size but the cakes are excellent and different every week so don't expect the same thing, doesn't matters they are all good. Sour apple and sticky date worth going back for. Good for kids with milkshakes. Seem to have a good fan base and regulars, I'm becoming one when I'm in town. Good coffee also.

Love this place - they do catering (including the most amazing chicken and walnut wraps plus homemade baked goods) and they also have a gigantic garden that is pet friendly. My friend and I visited and enjoyed their eggs Benedict with smashed avo and bacon, plus for drinks we had green tea and coconut water - FANTASTIC. Service was quick, efficient and friendly. Love this place and will definitely be back.

YES that is a 5 star vote. This place took myself, partner and our pooch in with open hands and a warm heart. Great little place that is worth a visit for a coffee and a smile and also some yummy food and cakes. We even bought some great little cupboard staples as well. The day we had something it was the 5th year to the day they had been there and i can say i think it will be another many years to come in being there. Nice one.

A great break on the road. Was recommended by some friends. Lovely wrap and giant iced chocolate big enough to share. Great cakes. Friendly staff. Yard at side and rear gives nice space, away from road, and good for kids to move about. Suggestion: something to conceal the bin row at rear of building - perhaps the wood pallets there could be painted and made into a screen (then 5 stars).

Yum. Had a great coffee here on Friday morning and 2 of us had some delicious blueberry cheesecake and carrot cake on the way back through on Sunday. Lovely outdoor seating to take a nice break from the road and the lunch time meals look absolutely delicious!

Friendly, tasty and well worth it! Firstly, the flat white and hot chocolate ordered were generous and well-made. Also, try the apple sour-cream cake! It was fresh, tasty and felt so genuine. Cute outdoor sitting area too :)

Recently my wife and I enjoyed the hospitality of Nelliebelles. The fresh cake and wonderful coffee was just the way to break up a Brisbane to Sydney road trip. So we set of and several hours later at the outskirts of Sydney discovered my wife had left her handbag on a chair in Nelliebelles. We felt sick. Not only her phone cash license cards and rings but her medication was in that bag. Checking my phone I found a text from Margie ❤️ owner of Nelliebelles. This absolutely fabulous woman had the bag and would express mail it to us. She would not accept any payment not even for postage.My wife and bag are now re-United and much relieved. I just want to share this story with everyone and thank Margie ❤️ and the staff of Nelliebelles Murrurundi once again. Beautiful people.. Not forgetting the delicious cakes and coffee.

The cakes are amazing. So yummy, we wanted to try them all. We ended up sharing a few and buying another to take home. We couldn't decide between any of her housemade cakes, timtam and Milo brownie, raspberry cheesecake, key lime sponge, passionfruit sponge, and others, all so yummy. The staff and owner were so welcoming. Real country hospitality. Such a lovely place to visit. Would highly recommend a visit to NellieBelles.

Looks like a family home, but for the signs by the footpath and a chalk board by the door. But go inside and you'll be welcomed by the friendly staff and the smell of fresh coffee and delicious cakes. A great place to break your drive either before or after battling through the heavy traffic surrounding Sydney and Newcastle.

Nelliebelles is a great place to relax with a coffee and friends. On a typical summers day, seating under the trees in the rear courtyard area, becomes the preferred option. Coffee is a nice blend, and the cakes are mouthwatering. Lots of seating inside and out, clean toilets and good service are all available here. Stop at Murrurundi, call in and enjoy. Cheers.
