Consistency is key in the hospitality world and these guys over the past few months have been nothing short of exceptional. Service with a smile, patience with the occasional funky order with no request being too much/hard. Mel and her team are amazing! Thank you 🙏🏼

I’m surprised to come here and see so many negative reviews… my partner and I came here for lunch & a coffee and we loved it. We were camping nearby and my partner wanted to show me this little cafe that he and his mates had been to a couple of times during their camping trips (and loved it).
Our burger & nachos were great, the coffee & chai were both delicious and the staff were very friendly. It’s in such a beautiful location too. We’ll definitely be back & telling others about Point Break cafe, too.

Such a great find. Amazingly tasty burgers, nachos and poffertjes of all things!

Really enjoyed the food and drink on offer, well made fresh, healthy and a bit different, just what I like. Great place to sit if the weather is good, as all seating is outdoors on a small paved area with beautiful views of the beach to the north. Seating is old retro tables and chairs - beware the spongey vinyl covered seats as they may ooze water as mine did, saturating my skirt on one side - not a good look! There are a few umbrellas for protection as well.

Our travelling group stopped in over night to Crescent Head on our way to Byron Bay. We had a terrible experience at the local Tavern up the road the night before. Thankfully Point Break made up for our first dinning experience, with outstanding coffee, food and service.
We love supporting local cafés, this little joint is a blessing to the local community so if your looking for a great breakfast and lunch support this little joint.
The owner on the coffee machine is the reason we will be recommending everyone to stop in and spend your hard earned coin with her.
Check them out and support the good eggs in the community.

Don’t pass this little kiosk without trying the food.Thai chicken salad was absolutely yummy 😋 will definitely be back and good coffee. Lovely friendly staff. Thank you!

Menu board is misleading and said that chips were served with ‘chefs sauce’. No problem with paying extra for sauce but don’t sneakily advertise. I called the staff member on it and she instantly got her back up and asked ‘What is wrong with you people?’ terrible customer service!!! If you can’t handle a bit of feedback from the people who keep you afloat then you are in the wrong business. Chips were overpriced ( but kids wanted a quick snack ) they were not cooked properly either. Lesson learned. I’m a local and I’ll never eat there again. Can’t leave reviews on their Facebook page. The young fella behind the counter earns you 2 stars and the generous serve of sauce.

Honestly the best Fish burger I have ever eaten!! Beautiful fish fillet with a guacamole with fresh coriander and chilli sauce. My husband had a chicken curry which he was impressed with, the flavours were well balanced. Service was with a smile and prompt considering peak school holidays.

LOVED this place. Amazing, friendly service and the best burgers we have had up the coast. Happily made mine vegan for me. Legends.

One of the reason we came back this Easter from Sydney, to enjoy the delicious food from Surfsliders. One of the best burgers we had! Yummy :-)

You will not find a better fish burger along the whole Eastern seaboard!
Surf sliders have unfortunately now closed - can’t vouch for the new kiosk on the point.

A thoroughly professional but friendly coffee shoppe. Highly reccommendex both for its coffee and service. If you are visiting Crescent Head put it on your “must do” list. Best coffee shop view in town!

I had the most delicious burger I've ever eaten. Melted in my mouth. No fried foods. Can even have burgers without the bun.

Delicious interesting burgers on yummy brioche buns. The satay looked and smelled good too. Very friendly people.

Nice snacks (toasted banana bread) but only takeaway cups (albeit eco friendly) for coffee

Great spot, however I felt the food and coffee was just mediocre and a little bland.

Delicious little food stop. It's great to find beachside kiosks that have healthy food, instead of the old greasy chippery.
