Here we go! It took me 22 months to finally visit Martin Hudak’s place in Sydney. We first met at the World Cup Tasters Championship in 2018 in Brazil. Then I had the great pleasure to enjoy several of his outstanding drinks during at Sober in Shanghai back in 2019. Unfortunately, Martin could not make it this time to his café. But three super friendly baristas gave me a warm welcome “BUONGIORNO!”. The two female and one male barista were all Italians, and I felt immediately home. I enjoyed a tasty pain-aux-raisin while one barista was pulling my double espresso: Costa Rica. I enjoyed the bright acidity and the tropical fruit notes. After a big fist sip, I could read “MAYBE IT IS TIME FOR A COCKTAIL?” That is cool. SAMMY JUNIOR wants to be your place for the last coffee and the first cocktail. Not today, as it was just 7 o’clock in the morning. While having a great chat with the team, I got my flat white made with their house blend. The coffee cut nicely through the well textured milk, and I enjoyed myself to the fullest. Maybe Sammy is a great example of outstanding customer service. I have been treated very well and totally enjoyed my stay. I cannot wait to return to Sammy Junior, meet Martin, and sip some tasty cocktails together. In addition, I absolutely want to read Martin’s new book: SPIRITUAL COFFEE! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience. I learnt a great lesson about customer service excellence.

Service is guaranteed here. So good. Didn't get a chance to eat as yet but the coffee was nice. Tried a few coffee cocktails to see how the flavour combo stacked up and was very happy 😊 Must try cocktails for sure are: Coffee Negroni Espresso Martini Irish Coffee The staff were all so lovely and welcoming and it just makes you wanna sit there all day having a chat with them.

Such a nicely decorated and beautiful cafe in the middle of the CBD but some what hidden. The coffee was great, would love to come back to try their food and cocktails. The pink paper cups really speak to me it’s so girlie and modern

Sammy Junior specialises in both coffee and cocktails, making it a nice addition to the city scene. They offer speciality coffee and it's pretty solid. Unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of their espresso martini - it was in a small glass and was really salty which didn't make it easy to drink. The cafe has nice interiors which works well as a backdrop for a coffee shop during the day and a fancy bar at night. The layout is spacious, with both bar seating and tables to cater for solo diners and groups.

Being a sister venue to one of Sydney’s best cocktail bars you can expect this venue to be busy. Coffee is good as expected. Lunch menu is simple but hits the spot just right.

100% Sydney Best Coolest, Cutest, Authentic Aperitivo Coffee bar Sammy Junior toasted banana bread, topped with ricotta, honey and sea salt, also The Amazing Espresso Martini by Martin Hudak done frappé style simply reminds us an elegant space reminiscent of a European coffee house . A top notch must go coffee bar in CBD you will find nowhere.
