We stopped at this cafe on the way to Fingal Head. It was raining so it was a relief to find lots of comfortable seating undercover. The food is great, the service is friendly and there is an art store next door. The cafe has a seaside/fishing/beach theme appropriate for it’s location. Plenty of parking across the road. Dog friendly too.

Very cool gallery/cafe' opposite Tweed River. I have seen dolphins in the water on previous visits but not today. 2 meals and 2 drinks for less than $50. The food is delicious and there's plenty of it. I ordered the Vietnamese Chicken Salad and it was so good. Highly recommend this place.

Love this cute little cafe snug away a few miles away from kingscliff. Dogs on leash are allowed. They have a small gallery filled with lots of local handmade items for sale. Coffee was just amazing.

Such a beautiful little nook of the world. This coastal style cafe is a perfect stop in on your way to Fingal Head, or worth a stop in if you're on the motorway on the way past. Good food, great service and excellent atmosphere for just kicking back, and relaxing with a cuppa and a meal while you watch the boats go past through the inlet across the road. Do it.

I love this cafe... Great staff, friendly, polite, helpful and engaging. Great location opposite the Tweed River where you can watch the boats and yachts . Watch people enjoying water sports and fishing. Framed by the iconic silhouettes of the Tweed and Gold Coast horizon. Fantastic at sunset. Great food and drinks. My favourite is the coffee frappe with cream. I love the little Gallery and have brought some real treasures from there. Relaxed casual river/beach theme. A real favourite of mine.

Was very surprised. Google image does not do this place justice. Gr we at coffee, amazing (breakfast) food. Definitely one out of the box! Drop in on a day trip, hang out on the outdoor lounges! Artwork is a bit pricey!

Not your normal restraunt. Very low keyed "hippy - herbal" but does have meat on the menu. Good lamb korma, burgers, pizza, ....... Alfresco with sheltered or shaded tables and on a good day live music of every genre imaginable. A lot a fun with an art gallery to brows local art, pottery, etc...

I have been to the sheoak shack gallery cafe a couple of times and it has always been a lovely experience! It is the perfect spot for a sunny day breakfast or lunch; with views of the water it has a very relaxing and happy atmosphere. The food is quite tasty, reasonably priced and our meals were very quick to the table; the coffee was also spot on too! Many thanks to the lovely staff at the Sheoak Shack. If you are out near Fingal, I highly recommend stopping into this delightful cafe!

The river shack atmosphere is a simple and beautiful spot on the river filled with sunshine, tables, lounges, music, and smiles! The people are great and the service is wonderful, relaxing, peaceful and welcoming where one can laze and make yourself at home. A tranquil beach community of awesome people, food, coffee and beautiful art.
