I've had nothing but great experiences, this Cafe regularly turns out some of the best smoked meat and burgers in Australia. I've happily travelled from the Central Coast on multiple occasions to enjoy their specialty dinner nights and events.. the owner and staff has been nothing but kind and helpful. The doughnuts and deserts are unreal.. the takeaway meals and special boxes are awesome.. I recommend this place to everyone I know that likes good food and respects the people that serve them👐

Absolutely amazing cafe, best pie I've had in ages! A must if you're nearby!

Staff are friendly and the cafe is nicely done, but my family and I weren't particularly impressed by the quality of the drinks or food. The milkshake flavours were pretty flavourless considering it's $6 and the almond milk one was served luke warm, yuck... Refrigerate your almond milk or at least add some ice to the drink.

Just wanted to say a huge thanks for the DELICIOUS and generous catering you did for us. And for understanding our want to reduce the “pick up” packaging. The whole thing was perfect; brisket, rolls, autumn salad; pickles & sauce; everyone raved about it. We enjoyed it so much I forgot to take photos (and it got dark anyway!). My kids and I have been enjoying the leftovers since :)

Great service, great food and a great range of other products. On top of the sensational brisket, these guys also sell coffee beans (White Horse roasters), gourmet soda mix, bbq rubs and pellets and some of the best looking donuts I've ever seen. Added this joint to the list of work lunch regulars

Stopped today for a quick coffee, Environment and greeting was so friendly and welcoming I decided to stop and eat in. Ordered some coffees and B&E Roll everything came out quickly, fresh and was Amazing... When I'm travelling thru the area will definitely be my go to Cafe from now on.. Highly Recommended

I normally don't bother with these reviews but felt that this place was worth a few minutes of my time. It has become my regular coffee and breakfast spot on the way to work due to the great food and service! The variety and quality of food is outstanding (always ask what the specials are you don't want to miss out) I had Chef Darren run a function for me last year and the guests still comment on the food!! Keep up the good work guys!!

Best coffee and food in the shire, try the muffins! Honest and hardworking owners that I've become very close with since they opened the business. They're the nicest people ever and always remember my order and how I like my toast! It makes me sad to read some of these reviews and see baseless slander of what is one of the great pillars of shire dining. Some people need to get a life instead of putting up falsities on the Internet and trying to bring others down.

My partner and I called through for breakfast after searching google and had the most amazing service from greeting at the door and then as we sat down. The Team are so enthusiastic about their fresh produce and really had us excited for breakfast and possibly coming back for dinner. The food came and we were NOT disappointed. We will be coming back for sure!!!

Our favourite 1st stop when we are headed south from Sydney. The location could not be better. It's just outside the city. Just before the motorway starts. Some of the best baked items you'd find in ALL of Sydney region. The croissants and muffins are just the best! I have never been disappointed with the coffee here. Highly recommended!

Amazing food, really filling and tasty. Staff was very friendly and kind. The 11 of us were hiking asked to fill up our bottles 2-5 litres for each person and kindly did it for us. Highly recommend :)

Good breakfast and fast service. My sister and wanted to "share" a plate as we weren't that hungry. They charged us $5 extra as "corkage" without letting us know. "$5 plate charge for every extra plate" - Not sure that explains clearly that a sharing a main is an extra cost. I could've eaten from the same plate as her. Just some clarity or heads up by the waitstaff would be a more personalised service.

It is one of the three coffee shops in Heathcote which sell a decent cup of coffee but that is the only thing I can judge because it is the only thing I had. I had breakfast this morning of beacon and eggs. The eggs where sunny side up the way I like them and the beacon was perfectly cooked and tasted also the way I like it nice and crispy the way I alway do it and I have not it for a long time.

Used to be a regular of Dank Street Depot for years when I lived close by, and as fortune had it, I moved to Heathcote just as Smoke and Soda opened, and it turned out the Chef worked there as well for a while! Been coming here twice a day since it opened and it's the best food in the shire. It hurts me to read through these reviews and see one from 'Italia'. I was present at the time in the restaurant and this is completely fabricated. Shame what you can get away with as a keyboard warrior with a grudge against a hard working, Australian business. Shame on you! Please come and eat here and you won't regret it!

A great gem. HOWEVER both our meals were drowned in chilli oil which wasn't mentioned on the menu at all as an ingredient. My bubble and squeak with smoked brisket was pretty much inedible for me. My husband's cheese burger was simply too spicy. Both meals were lovely in taste but the level of hotness spoilt both of the meals. We told the staff (who were great) and they seemed to be surprised because chilli wasn't mentioned as an ingredient. Apart from that, an amazing choice of muffins and cakes, and overall a nice chilled cafe.

A little expensive I thought - a piccolo (coffee shot with a dash of milk) and muffin was $9.50. Coffee was nice enough but the muffin a little dry. Convenient location though so likely to visit again. Friendly staff and quick service.

Food was really good, as was the coffee. It's probably the best lunch in Heathcote, but being on the highway makes it noisy. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, but if I was there already, I'd definitely drop in.

One of the best almond croissants around the Sydney area (although you have to go out to get it). The coffee is good too. It's a good stop for coffee and a light on the way out or in to Sydney.

Great Cafe with amazing food and coffee. They have interesting muffins that change constantly eg. Salted caramel, banoffee and twix (all together). So good! They also have cooked lunches so I often call in advance to order my coffee (driving past from Wollongong) and when I get there grab a muffin and a precooked lunch eg. Grainy mustard chicken with sweet pot mash and greens. Love this place!

I see vindictive comments here saying the chef is rude and aggressive?... I am not sure if there is an underlying problem these people have with the owner but a 1 star review is unacceptable, coffee is fantastic and wide range of amazing food and a chef who cares about sustainability and locally produced products... Not only that is very community orientated and plays a big part in fundraising for certain charities, also offering free bacon & egg rolls for volunteer firefighters when they are working hard to protect the community.... Hardly sounds like a "rude, aggressive" person to me 🤷🏻‍♂️... I think some people lead such boring lives they have nothing else to do but cause problems to others... Keep doing what you do Smoke & Soda because you have way more lovers than haters.

There are some fun and unique breakfast options here; definitely worth a look. 'Boutique' soda too, if you're into that sort of thing. Also a standout is the cake/ slice/ tart selection. I am into that sort of thing.
