Hidden gem, coffee is bang on. Came to Sapphire Beach for a stroll and found cafe by chance. Staff were super friendly and the food was yummy. I would definitely recommend.

Visited this cafe for the first time since under new management and wasn’t overly impressed. My family and I arrived quite early so it wasn’t busy and the service wasn’t very friendly or pleasant. The coffee was okay, however all of our coffees were not very hot. The food is overpriced and serving sizes are very small. The menu is also very unusual with only a few breakfast options. The tables had stains all over them and were all still quite wet and remained that way for the duration of the visit. We won’t be rushing back to this cafe.

Dog friendly Cafe that is right by the children's playground. Open to the park is a very pleasant place for a coffee or lunch. Food was so-so with my crispy chicken a bit burnt, but my wife's meal was fine.

Relaxed table service dining, small but very well executed menu, team were professional and very accomodating, and the food was excellent. Really really good. Plus there's a great playground next to it for the little ones to run around in. Couldn't fault it, definately one to go back to for a lazy lunch or 2!

Great setting down near the beach. Plenty of seating when we were there. (Friday brunch). It was not very busy, so, no pressure. We were expecting a few more options for breakfast, at a cafe that is more of a breakfast destination. In any case, we enjoyed the food on our visit. The bacon & egg roll & hamburger with both juicy & enjoyable. Presentation of the food was fairly basic. Burger & b/e roll plonked on a wooden serving plate. The burger especially looking naked on the plate, by itself. The only thing that we have an issue with, is the pricing. $18 for a burger, whilst delicious, is about $5 over priced & then another $6 for a small serve of fries (from a packet). I could be wrong, but reduce your prices & you may see more business. ($12.50 for muesli - ouch) We are DINKS, that have moved from Sydney last year. We both work at home & enjoy getting out a trying cafe’s in the Coffs region. We probably won’t be back to beachstone for these couple of reasons. A burger & frozen chips for under $20 & I would probably return.

A relaxing cafe adjacent to the park where the kids can swing, ride, climb and zip down the flying fox. The cafe staff are lovely, even noticing the number of kids we had who ran off to the equipment and brought over water and enough cups for all. Delicious breakfast and great coffee. They also stock a selection of all natural ice creams which were delicious! Wheelchair accessible. Room for prams. Dog friendly with toilets adjacent to the park.

A boutique cafe located on the beach at North Sapphire. If you don't know the area GPS will find or. Parking is usually limited but you can park on the grass. They have a happy hour daily between 4-6pm with house wines. Friday night is live music from 6-9pm. For the non Australian they have Vegan foods which don't support our great Australian farmers. Also non milk substitute are available. Services even for groups appears quick and accurate. They cater for birthdays,work gatherings,celebrations by booking. Don't visit on a public holiday or you will be hit with a 15% surcharge not 10% like other places. Seating is both inside semi outside or enjoy the park. Children's playground plus beach front.

What a fantastic find this place is. Set in park like setting surrounded by trees. It is such a peaceful and beautiful setting and it is the best toasted vegetarian sandwich I have ever had. Top marks. I will be back for breakfast tomorrow.

We heard about this café from Coffs Harbour locals. We were not disappointed. Good coffee. Good loose leaf tea. We could watch our youngest play in the adjoining playground from the table. All major credit cards. Good range on menu. Wheelchair accessible. Family friendly. Car park can fill during popular times. 4 stars because we did not like how another table near us had a large dog.

Was a delicious breakfast and really good value. The egg and bacon rolls were huge! Coffee was yummy and the staff were so helpful and friendly, had lots of good advice for us tourists. Great atmosphere even though we were the first guests of the day. My daughter was very impressed with the nearby flying fox! Beach is so handy that we walked along from saphire beach resort, just watch out for high tide ;-)

Love the ambience of this place. Had breakfast there today with husband and border collie Bonnie. Despite being very busy with functions and a fairly full restaurant, the staff were all professional, well organised and had lovely smiles and personalities. Even Bonnie was catered for immediately with a bowl of water. Coffee and breakfast (eggs benny and corned beef hash) was top class too, and arrived in a very short time. I hadn't been here for a while as previous experiences with this place (and previous owners) were awful so was very pleasantly surprised. Thank you for a great morning.

One of the recent innovations by the new management team was to have a Valentines Day dinner. I took my wife along and was seriously impressed... great menu choices, beautiful presentation of really delicious (but not pretentious) food, and a menu that offered a choice of either two or three courses for a fixed price - great idea! Good wine list, great ambiance, thoroughly pleasant evening. Sadly, while the facelift and new management have improved the cafe out of sight, their weekend service is poor... understaffed, with three times the number of people behind the counter as waiting tables, and the two waitresses run off their feet. We have waited for up to 45 minutes for coffee and food in the past, and this morning, sat down to a table which, like all the others around it, hadn't been cleared, only to watch the flustered staff look after others who had arrived 15 minutes after us. Not for the first time, we left after trying to get attention for 30 minutes without being served...

We had a nice lunch ordered the sticky pork burger and spicy chicken burger. Both burgers were great, just too much sauce on the spicy chicken burger. Really nice chilled out atmosphere with a great park for kids.

Fantastic for the family. Kids can ride and play. Parents are able to have a coffee or snack at cafe and watch their kids. Went there today (Sunday) and their was a vocal group singing for two hours. Great for the family. The only negative i would have is the parking is limited. But a lovely walk to the park can be achieved also. Paths and bush scenes.

We had high hopes for this cafe as the menu conjured up tasty images in our minds! Alas we were disappointed. We ordered the spiced potato hash pulled corn beef , spinach, tomato & poached egg. The hash wasn't fried enough so was only luke warm also the potatoes were in quarters so not really a 'hash'. I think the chef used too much spice powder as it was bitter. The poached egg was under done, the white wasn't set and so resulted in a watery mess!

The Cafe is ok but what really makes this a great place to spend some time is the fact it is a short walk to the beach and there is a fantastic outdoor play area for the kids,. There is a huge flying fox as well as some massive climbing structures, the kids just have a ball. Plenty of stuff for the littlies as well.

Being on hol from the UK perhaps our view is irrelevant but may serve, unlike this cafe (excuse the play on a word), as a warning. If you don't get your order within 10 minutes complain otherwise another 20 to 30 minutes may elapse before you're noticed. Sadly this place also goes down as the unfriendliest place we have come across on our stay in Oz over 3 weeks. Still if one is patient the food is OK but would have been better if picked up straight from the chef and one item properly heated.

This is a really great cafe by the beach. Next to a great kids play area and park so its great for families. Lovely staff and very comfortable set up both in and outdoors. I often order a Chai Infusion in a pot when I go out to cafés, but unfortunately this cafe has not got the hang of this idea at all, and it was something totally different and basically not pleasant to drink! So if you go here just a heads up not to order the Chai Infusion unless you have a good understanding of how they make it (on water rather than milk).
