What a great little place. Location plus. Customer service was awesome. Now let's get to the food! A small but sumptuous menu. The food was fresh, tasty and more than filling. Prices? We paid far less than we would have here than home prices. Probably half!! You must go there if in the area. Oh, the coffee is great also.

Fantastic and delicious dining experience. Attentive staff, fresh and tasty food. We shared the Oysters and Seafood hotpot with the dip plate and left feeling totally satisfied. The chocolate cheesecake was also scrumptious. Highly recommend stopping in here.. bookings seem to be essential. Will be back again when visiting from Sydney!

Absolutely lovely Cafe. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and came out quite quickly. Great prices too. I had the Bacon Eggs Benedict with added mushrooms and avocado. My partner had the Brekkie Feast with extra Bacon and hash browns. The hash browns were very crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, he says everything was perfect. Our eggs were all cooked perfectly and my hollandaise was delicious. The relish is amazing just quite strong so you only need a little bit. The only improvement I would make is that our milkshakes just needed a little more flavouring, they were a little weak but not bad.

WOW what a hidden gem, sitting in the sun overlooking the ocean and enjoying the most beautiful tasty breakfast. Saturday morning and couldn’t understand why the place is not packed. The food is comparable with the best that somewhere like Newcastle can offer. Excellent service, reasonable price, and five star quality food and coffee in a perfect location. Ten minutes from Coffs Harbour is well worth the drive as far exceeds anything Coffs has to offer. Highly recommended and we will be back next time in town 👍

Perfect location overlooking the beach. Staff are very friendly, making it a really relaxing place to grab a coffee or a meal. I got breakfast here after a morning swim at the beach; I had the Eggs Benedict with Halloumi, who would’ve thought it would taste so good. You can’t go wrong with sourdough and perfectly poached eggs.

I have eaten from all their menus... Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner... Including their seasonal menu changes and I've never had a bad meal there yet... The staff are amazing kind courteous friendly and knowledgeable about the food your eating which is sourced locally from some of the best suppliers available.... The views of the ocean are spectacular finally not only should every visitor to the Coffs Coast enjoy a meal here but every local should as well... I could not praise this restaurant high enough thank you to all who work there your passion for your job is noted and appreciated

Amazing food, on a beautiful autumn night we went here as a large group to celebrate a milestone birthday. Firstly the waitresses were extremely efficient and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Now the food..wow, delicious is the word I would use. All the food came out together and hot and my husband had the best pork belly ever he said. Tastes were varied as was the menu to suit a bit of everyone. Now on to the kids meals, healthy and yummy and what I would consider a fair price these meals were eaten without hassle and considering the ages were 5kids under 5 were made very well. I will be back guaranteed.

It was very relaxing setting half seated outside . Less than two hundred meters away from beach. You can sip your coffee and watch the ocean the surfer Children play ... breathing salty air and smells coffee beans at same times. This is why you come to this Surf st Cafe for.

Had breakfast or lunch here at least 6 or 7 times and no matter which day of the week, everything was great. The staff are friendly and the bacon and egg roll is almost enough to get me through the whole day - generously proportioned and has an outstanding bacon:greens ratio. Another recommendation I could make would be the bacon and avocado roll from the lunch menu. Also generously laid out and delicious. Also great is the side of sweet potato fries. Thanks again guys for being so accommodating.

Surprisingly great little cafe. Was driving from Coffs to Brisbane and looking for somewhere different to eat (not on the beaten track) and somewhere pleasant to stretch the legs before being cooped up in a car for hours. The food was excellent. The staff excellent. The prices were reasonable. Coffee great too. All abilities access with a gentle ramp into the premises. Take a walk up the hill nearby to take in the sights, fresh salt air and see the kangaroos laying about the grassy knoll.

The food, service and outlook are all first class. Charli and the team go out of their way to make you feel welcome and were very accommodating when we visited recently. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always able to find a spot for us to sit with our dog. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here over a period of 5 days and all the meals were 1st class. We will definitely be back next year!

Pretty much impossible to give Surf St a negative rating ... I’d personally award 10 stars ... I’ve eaten here for breakfast- lunch and dinner and enjoyed it every time! It’s great that the place is dog friendly (dog owners should appreciate and respect that and behave accordingly)! Food is generous in servings and tasty (best corn fritters dish I’ve encountered yet and I’m a hospitality trainer and educator and eaten at many places! Staff deserve a 10/10 rating for service and efficiency (Bec and the girls are always welcoming and observant ) and great kitchen teamwork is also obvious as there is always consistent (high) standard/presentation and never too long a wait even on busy days! I’ve recommended Surf St to many travelling friends who have stopped off especially en route and all have been impressed! It’s a bonus to have such a great place so convenient every time I stay at Emerald Beach.

Despite being very slightly on the expensive side for lunch ($28), I have to say the quality matched the prices. I had the chicken ballontine and it was nice and tasty. My wife had the slow braised lamb shoulder and even though it was still good, it definitely wasn't as tasty as my chicken. Her rosé was apparently very nice. I recommend the place and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

We stopped here as it was a quick detour from the highway. The take away coffee and chai latte were great although the wait for it was a bit long as the cafe was very busy. The beach and view across the road from the cafe make this spot just idealic.

The view was breathtaking at sunset. The service was fantastic. The freshness of the food, the quality, presentation, the portion size & the taste were all truly amazing. We can't wait until our next visit. It was well worth the drive to get there. This had to be one of the best restaurants inn the Coffs Coast. We even saw a kangaroo hop right passed us & keep going up the main street. It wad freely an amazing experience.

This cafe is situated in an idyllic location overlooking Emerald Beach. Loved having brunch here. It has a comprehensive gluten free menu. We shared Mixed seed & nut granola (with passionfruit curd, seasonal fruit, berries, honey & clove infused macadamia milk) & Potato & Greek feta hash balls (with capsicum harissa, truffled mushroom, haloumi, avocado, fresh roquette, poached eggs). What a great food experience! The granola was sooo tasty and filling. I loved the intense passionfruit curd and the fresh fruit. The highlight was the hash balls. Lots of flavour and texture, especially the balls and capsicum harissa. And also a nice but limited view of the beach when it is not raining.
