Great little bakery that includes gluten free and veg pies on their menu. My chickpea curry has heaps of veggies in it. Friendly staff, great picnic tables outside under the verandah.

One of the only places I know that makes gluten-free muffins, I ride out from Canberra just to have one : ) Also the gluten-free pies they sell from the freezer are THE BEST!! Lovely short pastry. Muffin and coffee at the cafe, pie and mash when you you get home!! They sell a small gf white loaf too.

Good little bakery. Friendly staff. We ordered a pie, sausage roll, almond custard croissant, they were quite tasty and fresh. Well priced too. Well worth the stop.

It's hard to judge the actual quality of food and drink after a big ride but my simple croissant and hot chocolate were incredibly good and disappeared in under a minute. My friend also got a gigantic, icing-covered danish which he assured me between mouthfuls was also delicious. This fueled the return journey! The store itself has generous parking, has a good internal fit-out, the staff were friendly and the tables were clean.

Great bakery. Good coffee. They even have lime milkshakes if you are into that kind of thing. However, awesome pies and the range of sweet treats is certainly likely to make you have to pause to decide. They even have great selection of breads.

Yummy pies and great coffee! Everything looked really good but I only tried the steak, mushroom and guinness pie. It was filled with a rich, flavoursome gravy and lots of chunky, tender steak. The pastry was the perfect thickness and it was light and buttery. The sauce is free too! I took a sachet but didn't end up using it because the pie was so tasty.

I have heard raving reviews from friends about this bakery and I have to say that I was extremely impressed when I visited recently. The pies tasted incredible and the staff were friendly. 3 of us came here after being to Alpaca Magic. 2 had chunky steak pie (lots of chunky steak) and the other a chickpea curry pie (lots of chickpeas, awesome curry). Very delicious. We indulged too in blueberry muffin, chocolate brownie and apple pie. Again, all delicious. I noticed a review that said not many sweets. There was stacks of choices when we went around lunchtime on a Saturday. Coffee was good too. Service was lovely, warm and friendly. Prices reasonable given quality. Nice outdoor seating area, good car parking and quite accessible. Well done team.

Tasty. A great selection of pies (including gluten free pies) and really friendly service. I'm not really a big pie eater, but these were lovely. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the gluten free bread. It was very expensive and very average. Here's a pic of a pie we took home that we served on mushy peas.

Holy snuff balls! This place is a gem hidden between tree lined grassy hills. A short drive from Canberra city, tranquil like a vacation. The coffee is really good. Had lamb, rosemary, Shiraz pie; and Jaffa slice. Had to lie down for a while and contemplate the goodness the life has to offer. Perfect motorcycle café destination, indoor/outdoor seating. Staff can cater to food intolerances.

Gluten free pies available, limited variety. Takes 25 minutes to heat them, perhaps ring ahead. My GF family members had chunky beef and seemed very content.

For 7-8$ a pie, the pies are quite average. The steak in the pie was quite chewy, the gravy somewhat gelatinous, and the pastry was slightly overcooked. The espresso, the essential coffee cup, was quite bitter and acidic. While some might enjoy this, I find it disgusting. The almond croissant was nice, the custard filling was well balanced and not overpowering. Overall, not quite worth the above average prices.

Really good sour dough bread, excellent pies not cheap but really good quality. Also bought the chocolate Bavaria slice which we shared well sort of shared. My half disappeared too quickly and there wasn't a line in the middle! Good coffee too. Very popular with everyone. Worth the trek to Sutton from Canberra, Burra... Sydney if your a bike rider!

The food was really, really good. It was just very expensive though. $7 for a pie. I understand though that because they are out in the middle of the sticks that higher prices are probably necessary. Really clean and good service but extremely noisy due to the poor acoustic design. Half full bakery and we had to yell just to hear each other. Would probably be better in warmer weather so you can sit outside. Will give an extra star for the free sauce pouches which were a plus!

This bakery is a real hidden gem. I was told by a local at Braidwood that this shop had the best breads & pies in the District. He wasn't wrong !!!! The curry pie I had was full of meat and I could actually taste the curry. The crust was flaky and crisp and really, the only real way to comment is to say it was a bloody great pie !!!!! The coffee was excellent, the staff really friendly and the surrounds ideal. I also purchased a Sourdough loaf which was terrific with some Golden Syrup. On my next trip South, this will be my stop off point. Congratulations The Baker. Great Product.

A beautifully modern and locally owned bakery that does THE BEST pies... All their goods are made fresh on site. There is ample seating inside and out... Brewster coffee too! With EFTPOS facilities to boot! Well priced and easy parking. Makes for a lovely day out. Always have a great experience when I go here... Drop in and enjoy! I reckon it is better than the Braidwood pie shop! So that is saying something. Love this place.

I thought under health regulations staff could not physically touch food items unprotected. Pies and cakes are a bit costly compared tosimilar types of businesses. They do make a nice coffee.

This is where we buy most of our bread now, on the way home. Most of the products are top notch. The Turkish bread was disappointing - it didn't seem to be made with olive oil and it was noticeable. Bakeries tend to start off well and as their products cheapen the quality deteriorates incrementally. I really hope this bakery stays the course - it is a welcome addition to the region.
