Would totally recommend, from the road the place looks small, but its huge inside, booked for breakfast and coffee, great views...

5 friends and family joined me for a birthday celebration. Service was exceptional, meals ALL delightful. Desserts fresh and flavouresome. Ambience , gallery and view beautiful even on a rainy day! Thank you Kez Al and staff for my perfect and quiet birthday celebration.

We have just had the most fantastic Sunday lunch here. It was a rainy overcast day, however, we sat on the verandah, under cover, looking down into the valley - the view is fabulous. The menu is excellent with a wide range of choices, and the food beautifully cooked. There is a wide range of wines available by the glass and the bottle. The service is a little slow, however, we weren't in a hurry so it was not a problem.
We have already booked to come back again with friends from Sydney, next week!

The food, staff and Veiw was so amazing. Definantly worth the drive!

Very nice venue. Tremendous view. Not far out of the wauchope township. Hot chocolate was creamy and frothy. The veal scallopini was too buttery and the mushrooms were undercooked and there were cold spots in the meat and the overall temperature was low. The pesto with a twist was olive dominant and this took over the taste but the chilli redeemed it slightly. The carbonara was very plain however we did not include the mushrooms and chilli. The lamb shank was was excellent. The waiters were pleasant but service was slow and two of us were almost finished our meal before the other meals came. However one waiter noticed this and apologised. Waited a long time for dessert only to be told they had no lemon meringue pie - so we waited longer. We ordered two pieces of Apple pie one serving was very small. The ice cream was obviously melted and refrozen. The chocolate mousse cake good but very rich and not very moussey. The lemon lime cheesecake was ok. The English breakfast tea was good. Overall a bit disappointing. I have tried to give a fair review. We ended up paying $106.50. They asked how it was and I mentioned just the cold scalopinni and they did not charge for it. That was good service. We left thinking we will probably give it another try.

Have been to the Byabarra Cafe and Bar last time making that our 5th visit. Food is delicious and staff are very welcoming. Took friends on that last visit and they also enjoyed the experience and of course the food.
D. H.
Lovely spot for coffee and cake but menu looks good for lunch too. Dinner limited to Friday night atm. Needs better signage... I'm sure potential customers drive straight past without even knowing the gem they've missed. We'll be back another day for lunch!

Great place. The meals are always good and the pork belly was excellent with a crispy skin and great crunchy vegetables.
But the real winner is the location outside dining looking out on the valley and they have Byabarra beer.
Only problem is the distance from Wauchope/Port but that is also an attraction
S. H.
The food is wondetful. Plenty of variety. Atmosphere is lovely and the views are very relaxing. Highly recommend this wonderful cafe & bar for any occasion.
I. C.
Speechless- not often I want to lick the plate clean, I had the lamb shank and Kim had Pork Belly. Such a beautiful location overlooking the Byabarra valley with a menu that has so much variety that it is hard to choose. Tip: book in advance as this place fills up on the weekend.
Add a trip to Rawson Falls for a perfect day out 😀
M. C.
Beautiful food, lovely staff and the view is amazing. Byabarra Beer goes down a treat too! Pictured is Squid Ink Fettuccine with cockles served with muscle's instead of the prawns on top. A+++

The drive to here is for lovers of driving.
The destination is for lovers of imaginative quality fresh individually cooked food.
If you rate a place because you could do better at home.....you won't. If you can, open up a restraunt. Very very well done guys we loved it.
See you again.

Friendly and accommodating service and hospitality. I arranged for my parents to dine there last night and they went out of their way to make them comfortable and have a wonderful experience. Mum and dad absolutely loved the food and drinks. They went all out to help them celebrate their wedding anniversary including writing up a welcome sign. Highly recommend.

Great spot, well worth the time to meander out from Wauchope for lunch then back to town via Bagnoo road as a loop.
G. S.
Love this place. Lunch on the verandah is beautiful.

E. S.
Good service, lovely restaurant. Excellent location. Food out of this world. Going there soon again. In future any reason for group lunches, that's where we'll go.
K. S.
Wonderful views. Terrific food and coffee. Fantastic service
B. H.
What a lovely surprise this place was! The food was delicious, we tried a variety of different meals and they were all lovely and fairly priced. The wood-fired pizza's were really tasty with sensational thin crusts and the service on a busy day was good. There is a liquor licence and the soft drinks were not overpriced like they can be at other places. The scenery is breathtaking and a nice walk on the grounds was just right after stuffing ourselves with food. We can't wait to return again soon. Thank you to all the staff!
M. M.
Jaw dropping views, well worth a trip out from Port. I was keen to come and have the mussels - these were absolutely delicious, big fleshy mussels in a cream and white wine sauce. So happy! Delicious fresh produce cooked to perfection. We will be back!!
B. V.
Great food! Great service! Great vibe!
Spectacular views!
Great work Glen & Lisa
V. S.
Turned around on the road when we saw this quaint little gem. Local wine, views, service & food was all amazing. Can see why this would be a great wedding spot, we want the venue all to ourselves. We had the Beef Brisket Roll & Veal Scaloppini in Creamy Mushroom Sauce, both perfect!
M.
Super spot on tbe way to the amazing Ellenborough Falls which is a must see!!!
S. B.

Fabulous country house restaurant 40 minutes from Port Macquarie. Loved the mussels, pork belly, cakes, wines and valley view from the deck or inside. Go with friends and a designated driver for a long, lazy lunch - you'll love it!
M. J.
Lovely setting for a family get together or just two for a coffee. Rated good coffee and very nice chai latte. Great for breakfast and lunch.
R. T.
Celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here and loved the experience. Hostess 'Kez' made our evening very special and enjoyable. And that view over the valley is spectacular...
K. M.

Love this place, food and views. However I believe it has so much more potential. Always very quiet, and not many people. Needs music and more atmosphere maybe ! Having said that we still like to go and enjoy the views
