The breakfast/brunch menu here is very good, and there is a good variety. The corn fritters are apparently very popular so have to get in early otherwise they will run out. We certainly missed out on this occasion and ordered Classic Avocado and Chef's Breakfast instead. I would question the addition of bean sprouts into the salad as that isn't typical, however being Vietnanese and having been used to the taste of bean sprouts, it wasn't such a big deal. Yours truly @fooderarri.

Very cosy and pretty cafe, but limited menu and average tasting food. Lots of dead flies at the window seats which was a real shame for such a pretty cafe. Staff were very friendly. Cafe is located right in the middle of Bungendore town, very easy and convenient parking and access.

Wanted a quick lunch and stopped by this highly rated cafe. Unfortunately due to the holiday season, only a limited selection from the breakfast menu was on offer and they didn’t have fresh juice. Apparently only one chef was on duty so the food came out over 30 minutes. The simple breakkie burger was nice and for the eggs on toast, they were flexible with the swoping the bacon for avocado. It’s a nice cozy place with a children friendly play corner too.

Hit and miss and I have a love/hate feeling for this place. OK coffee, but food and service variable depending on day and time and could do with a quality increase. Can get busy (especially on long weekends) and service can take a while with large gaps between drinks and food coming to the table. Table water is purely a self service affair. Nice people though and good for Bungendore. I guess if it was perfect it would get way too busy, so maybe this is a good thing!

We had brunch on Sunday Service was outstanding Coffee was great and hot I had Quiche and salad my friend had Zucchini and Bacon slice with Salad we both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Thanks to all the Staff at The Gathering Bungendore I will certainly be returning 🍴

Enjoyed the breakfast atmosphere sitting next to the front window. However, would have been nicer if they didn't "charcoal" my bacon. Staff should remove the dead flies from the window sill; not a great look when you're eating. Breakfast was pretty average

What does one want from a local cafe? Boho atmosphere in a quirky heritage building, Great coffee, freshly made local produce based menu that does not baffle the mind with too many choices. Spacious indoors and outdoor seating. Check it out!

Rapidly in its way to becoming a local icon. Atmosphere is always relaxed, warm and welcoming. The hot chocolate and almond croissant are highlights.

Went to the gathering with my partner for breakfast and have to say the eggs benny was amazing with a delicious cap to accompany. Awesome atmosphere and decor gives the place a nice rustic and homely feel. Would definitely recommend if passing through bungendore to call in even if for a quick takeaway coffee.

Great place for that wake up break highly recommend. Nice selection of goodies to appease the demon pangs of hunger. Quick cuppa and on to our inglorious National Capital. Always something to spoil the day, so eat slow savour your cuppa and download in the old memory bank. Like Arnie said "I'll be back" Chow bon appetite enjoy

Nice place n service. Very busy last time there and although I mentioned my friend was coming to order. Our meals came 15 minutes apart rather than holding mine. Otherwise great. Had 3 meals over my weeks stay.

The location was good and the fitout screams country cafe, with wooden floors and stressed wood tables. We had a large group with little kids and, because we had booked, we got a large table by the window. No table service but staff were friendly and the food was good.

We arrived at the cafe at 1pm. To get a table outside I had to clear it myself, as staff were busy. No problem. Orders were placed inside from a rather limited menu. After quite a long wait outside, we were advised by a staff member that there were no lamb burgers left. Orders were changed to tomato and fetta on toast with small green salad. Unfortunately 3 of us got their order (eventually) but one of the tomato and fetta orders was overlooked. It eventually arrived, but by then we were all a little fed up. To put things in context and to be fair, Bungendore was admittedly full of tourists seemingly returning from holidays and staff appeared to be very busy.

We were incredibly impressed, very aesthetically pleasing. We shared a few different breakfast items and they were all yum. My coffee was great, and my wife had a tea which she likes done in a certain way and they did everythimg they could to achieve that for her.

Not only are these nice people but their food is quality. Ambience, an old shop off the main route to the Coast from Canberra to the coast does not suffer from excessive road noise so even sitting on the sidewalk is pleasant. Good WiFi.

They look expensive but aren't, the tomato relish is a fresh addition to breakfast and the interior is a repurposed house giving it a comfortable atmosphere. Worth dropping in if you are heading through Bungendore.

Ordered the Breakie Bun. Arrived with no homemade relish. When asked about the relish, was told they had run out. Asked why that was not mentioned when we ordered and was told “I am not sure, I did not take the order”. She did in fact take the order. Not a bad spot but when items are out, inform the customer so they can consider their options. Edit: The vendor took time to reply with a friendly response.
