Emily recently catered for a birthday lunch event. She provided a delicious mouth watering array of Vietnamese rice paper rolls, vegan duck pancakes, fried chicken, salad, chicken rolls!!! All my guests were blown away with the quality and freshness of the food. Emily was incredibly generous of her time and communicated throughout the whole process. I highly recommend a visit to the penny royal and can’t wait to back there again for the vegan duck pancakes. Thank you Emily

Great coffee, exceptional bircher muesli covered with coconut shavings, raspberries, blueberries, mango and passion fruit. Bursting with flavour. As Arnie says... I'll be back.

Cute little cafe, with simple and delicious food for very reasonable prices. We ordered the mushrooms on toast, and the granola bowl. Both super full of flavour, and good portion size. Definitely recommend to anyone else to eat here and enjoy the food.

I am regular customer at penny royal and “pho” is always my favorite meal all the time. I am so surprised to see a negative review on this lovely coffee shop. Always passing by to have a great coffee and a quick chat with the most friendly owner in the town. The tiny cup cake that they often give to my daughter is her favourite snack all the time. I have never heard about $19 for “pho”. The price is clearly in the menu for spicy and beef rib one. Or if you aren’t sure, you can ask before you order. I do think the bowl size is normal, except you expect to served in jumbo size. They use the beef rib one not the “big chunk beef”. The owner was also willing to give you back whatever you think over charge for you but you don’t want. A dollar isn’t a big deal to a business owner or with you either, I think. But it isn’t nice to give untruth information and review in public!!!!

Ordered the pho soup to take away. Best in the area. Very flavourful broth with chunks of tender beef. The staff were also lovely and made sure I was comfortable with a blanket and heating while waiting for my food.

The food was yummy. I had the spicy pho and my wife had the lime mayo chicken sandwich, which worked as we both wanted different cuisines for lunch. The staff were also very lovely.

A nice little cafe. Limited space but a nice atmosphere so there's a but of a wait dieing the busy times. Staff were polite and helpful and did communicate any delays. Food was simple but delicious and the coffee was well made. Had long blacks, latte, and piccolo and all were good coffees. Would I recommend? Definitely. Would I go back? Absolutely. Solid choice to go for coffee.

It's amazing how people on here can 5 star everything they see. The coffee is good - not great. The food is limited, but nice, light and healthy. Slightly overpriced, but perhaps not for Mosman. The place is tiny and the service average (not bad but in the middle). A refreshing change from the usual.

Penny Royal has one of the best coffees and baristas in the North Shore. There are a few other places that do Campos, but the coffee here is consistently good. The staff are really friendly, and after 2 visits, they remembered my order completely. Highly recommended!

We went on a Saturday morning which was busy (of course!). That being said when we asked for 2 meals they were completely out of both, the service was pretty average as we weren't in the main cafe area but in a little room next door. Food was ok, good flavours but we waited a long time for it. Coffee wasn't great (long black).

I love this little place. The best part are the young, friendly and very capable staff that run the joint. The coffee is great, the food is fresh and interesting and prices are surprisingly good value considering the location and level of service.

Just off Military Road, in front of the Mosman Council Chambers is Myahgah Mews, a strip of cafés and restaurants on a paved pedestrian walkway. Amongst them is Penny Royal, a white brick box with an adorable striped awning, set right the canopy of a leafy tree. Makes for a good spot to have a coffee and catch up on some reading.
