Jumping on the back of the post about taking the time to leave a review of businesses that I’ve always had amazing interactions with. Sharing the love. Have been coming here since the beginning and honestly, Mikey, Lucy and Ads are the best humans you will ever meet. The BLT, the bacon & egg rolls, the almond croissants and the coffee keep this Mama going 100%! Thank you for being awesome xx

My partner and I stopped in for a quick drink late on a Saturday afternoon. I'd seen a large crowd here before so was excited to try the place. We both had a glass of the rose on special and a protein as a treat. The wine wasn't great, but maybe that's what you're get when you buy the happy hour wine? The cookie was okay, but a bit dry. I can't comment on the food as we only had the cookie. There did seem to be some interesting things in the menu. The atmosphere is pretty decent. If you had a few friends and wanted to relax and have a drink this place could be a nice place to go and avoid the tourist traffic.

Not your usual sort of cafe or bar. Pretty quirky with a cool vibe, a bit small so can't suit a big group of people. Food is great and very different from other places. Love that the veggies come from the community garden at the front. Bit disappointed by the short list of drinks available. No bourbon or rum? Also, the sitting situation wouldn't work for people with back problems. I think it was a very nice experience and the food was super delicious and i enjoyed. I'm not sure this is where you want to celebrate with friends or go for brekky with your in-laws. But nevertheless, good service and cool place to go at least once

Good coffee, Garbage Chat. A lot of people on here are saying its fantastic service, whilst dining in that may be true, but for just getting a couple of coffees in the morning I have found it to be the complete opposite at just 'Service' verging on rude. I also know I am not the only one thinking this. Yes they can be busy, but even when a customer asks how you are (with genuine interest) a reply wouldn't go amiss. Once again though, the coffee is good, and the B&E roll goes all right too.

We came here late in the afternoon for a pre dinner bite to eat and there was not a huge choice for snacks that we're dairy free and meat free. We ended up having a protein cookie which had ok flavour but was pretty dry and a glass of the happy hour rose. The rose got better as you drank it but was fairly harsh on initial sip. The location is great and the staff super friendly which adds to the charm of the shop. There is quite a fun vibe here, but a bit more attention to food options is needed. Appreciate it is a small kitchen too.

Having grown up in Bondi, I’ve always walked past the shop but never walked in. Having sat down we were a little worried that there were only salads and sandwiches on the menu for lunch. But both of our choices were delicious. We will be back again to try the brunch.

Used to come here for the best coffee in Bondi & often split a sandwich with my 5 yo.I don't even like sandwiches that much, but they're that good. The kid is 20 this year & the Shop is still one of the best things in the hood.You can always count on the ingredients being absolutely top quality, they use only the best and in great combinations. Highly recommend the salad & Italian meatballs. It is small so be prepared to wait a little at busy times, but considering what they turn out & how many they comfortably accommodate in such a tiny space it's a wonder. Consistently good, always welcoming. A gem of a place.

The Shop & Wine Bar is my go-to in Bondi & has been for almost 10 years. It is run by a beautiful little family, the staff members are a part of that extended family & they welcome the community into the fam as well. Whether you’re after breakfast, lunch or dinner, vino & cheese or a snack, you can’t go wrong with any single item on their menu. Special mentions for their famous breakkie rolls, their meatballs and any dish with halloumi - delish! If you’re considering going there, stop procrastinating and get there now!!

We are visiting from the states and just happened find this place, and we are glad we did! The food was excellent (even the chef was proud of it) and the staff were very warm and welcoming. Epic sandwiches and salads, available for done in or takeaway. They have a fabulous beer and wine selection as well, and offer a happy hour until 6pm. Always very friendly there, it's a local favourite.

Positives: - Really decent portion sizes for the salads and super yummy! I love the Italian meatballs. - You can call up in advance to put your name down for a table if you want - Affordable brunch prices and amazing coffee Negatives: - Went in a big group and we were only allowed to use one $25 voucher. We checked the Service NSW website which says you're allowed to use multiple per group. When we showed this to the cashier lady, she said the owner only allowed her to accept 1 per table and we couldn't spilt bill (she was a little rude and impatient to be honest). - Though the salads were big, portion size for the protein was small

Really nice environmentally friendly, cute cafe which I stumbled across recently. Great service though there only seemed to be three staff. Great food, I had a delicious hot chocolate and probably the best brownie I’ve ever had. Very small but adds to the atmosphere- in summary, would definitely recommend.

Awesome little hole on the wall cafe - hip and "Bondi" but staff are friendly & unpretentious. Have been a couple of times for takeaway orders and you need to be prepared for a 20 - 30 minute wait sometimes - or else order on Hey You & turn up after 20 minutes. Their bacon and egg rolls and coffees are the best in Sydney!

The vibe is nice, the food was good, the menu would make any person salivate. But the service was really slow. It took 35-40 minutes for our 2 breakfast dishes to come out. But after stating the fact to them and asking if they thought that was reasonable, they took our coffees off the bill, which twisted my arm to write a nice review. Would definitely go back (whether I pay for my coffees or not).

The Shop is a small little wine bar in Bondi. Hidden away from the tourists and only known to locals. It serves a fantastic wine selection of boutique wines. The food menu is small but delicious. The service is friendly and easygoing. Perfect for a drink and a sandwich or if your out early enough great coffee and breakfast. Its family friendly and the place serves free wild olives with their wine selection. Highly recommended for those not wanting the mainstream tourist restaurants of Bondi.

This little gem has sone of the best coffee I have tasted here in Australia. Came late in a day when all the coffee shops stop serving coffee in Bondi after 6 - because you know who wants a cup of coffee after work? - and sat outside. The stuff were extremely polite, happy! Tucked away from the main streets off Bondi this little whole in the wall wine bar and cafe is the perfect spot if you feel like an Aperol Spritzer and some nibbles. Everything is cooked from the tiny kitchen but the staff make it work. The sambo are made using thick white and brown bakery bread and the salads are simple but delicious. The outdoor seating isn't overly comfy but the people watching, drinks and food makes up for it!
