What a great surprise finding this place! Was out exploring and wife wanted a coffee so we stopped in and had a wonderful lunch. Place is very quant and the owners are just lovely people. Food and coffee was exceptional and prices are fair. Had the pot pie and the french toast and both were so good. If we lived closer I'm sure this place would be a regular stop. If your in the area do you self a favor and pop in.

Great to see the Udder Cow open again. Owner/host Chris Holstein has done a great job refurbishing. Service is terrific, sweets cooked by Chris's wife just scrumptious. Thanks for your hospitality.

Great but quaint cafe. Under new management and they are doing a fab job. There is even a ‘welcome dog’ named Lewis who is very friendly. I have posted a pic of the menu - it is a good menu with not too many options but what is there is all good. I had the Comboyne smoothie but without avocado HOWEVER I should have had avocado and so should you because it tasted super!! My daughter had it with avocado so I drank some of hers. The barramundi with lemon potato was excellent. We also had the chicken focaccia which was nice but a bit plain - probs needs some tasty sauce options. The owners are nice and worth supporting. It is good that the udder has been revived and going strong. Highly recommended. EDIT; All the pictures are from the day we were there so I’m not sure why the owners reply said ‘a lot of photos from the last owner’. Anyway it was good.

Beautiful little cafe that I highly recommend visiting. The food is home made with some of the best bread I've ever had. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Prices are also quite reasonable. I would suggest trying their scrolls.

This cafe was delightful. The service was fantastic we had arrived at 2 after an eventful walking in the rainforest with three small children. The owner could not have been kinder or more accomodating if he tried. Food was delicious and there home made bread was perfect. Would visit again and can highly recommend.

Great little Cafe we discovered on a little rainy road trip.
Lovely down to earth staff.
Missed out on trying their famous housemade pies as they'd sold out.
Will definitely call in again when we're out that way.

Quaint place - great food - helpful service! The BEST pies - I returned 3x ... the homemade cakes and slices made with local ingredients were very tasty! The owner was very informative and helpful (I'm looking to buy in the area) and couldn't help enough with my questions ... I'll be a happy regular when I eventually get there! BTW ... I don't understand people who feel it necessary to put down someone's honest attempts at providing quality service - be it coffee skills or food! Thank you for being AUTHENTIC and for being your friendly self!

It was wonderful. We had a funeral wake here and the people here were so friendly and lovely. They were able to feed everyone and the food was delicious. The homemade pies and cakes and milkshakes were the best.

The home-made pies are fantastic (reminds me of my great aunts cooking 50 years ago) and the vanilla slice was to die for , so good !!! The staff are passionate about the food they have made and they are also very friendly and helpful .

Great little find while out on a drive. Well made burger and perfect coffee. My only regret was i was too full to try something from the dessert cabinet as it all looked yummy as well.

what a great place, home cooked food and very friendly people

Good atmosphere that gives a family friendly vibe. They're food is quite good, and they give ok value for money. Though they do insist on using macadamias whenever possible so keep that in mind if you do/don't enjoy macadamias.
p.s. don't make the make the same mistake as me and not realise lamb's fry is lamb kidneys and the like.

Catered well for a coeliac. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was delicious. Lovely experience and would highly recommend this cafe.

Lovely quirky cafe with a definite bovine theme.
