Relaxed picturesque boat shed on the water with delicious food. Highly recommend the fish special. On the day I went, it was flathead and it was the best lightly battered flathead I've ever had. Sweet and fresh. Good chips too.

We are the owners of the Tuross Motel and often get our takeaway lunch here on our busy days, we also send our guests here for breakfast so they can enjoy hearty meal, great coffee and the lakeside atmosphere.

This cafe on on waters edge was a beautiful spot for a coffee stop. The coffee was fantastic - brewed to perfection and overlooking the water on a beautiful sunny afternoon was just brilliant. Nothing overly fancy but definitely a great escape.

This place was a great little find on our coast travels on the weekend. We ordered the fish and chips, and I had the (grilled) fish burger which was full of flavour. The chips were tasty and chunky, but, sauce was .50 cents extra and seemed excessive. Maybe they were being COVID safe in not sharing the squeeze bottle of sauce - I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. They are definitely worth going back to though. Nice views over the water, and if you call by in your dinghy, food is delivered boatside. That's good service.

Good portion of fish and chips. Kids size was perfect for the kids. Was busy in the weekend but didn't have to wait for tables. Much better to be outside than inside if the conditions allow. Some tables had too much of a lean towards the water to be comfortable. Don't have tap to pay yet so make sure you have a regular bank card.

Love coming here, lunch is always good, always cooked to perfection. The view is amazing and you can spend all day just sitting here watching the world go by. Don't feed the birds as it is not good and watch your little ones near the edge of the deck there is no rail but there are alot of fish.

Their Eftpos machine doesn’t accept tap ‘n’ go. We almost couldn’t pay for lunch because both don’t carry cash and our credit card are on our Smart Phones (we no longer carry the physical cards), lucky we had enough schrapnell in the car!

Fantastic place to have fish chips, either takeaway or at the Waters edge. The service is always good, the food very tasty and others clearly enjoy the byo wine option too. We go here every trip to Tuross, highly recommended. Being right in the Waters edge means that my kids are fascinated with the boats, occasional wildlife If you've got really little kids you'll need to stay alert because the seats are literally on the edge of the water ... It's quite tempting for our toddler!!!

Wonderful Fish & Chips - Stunning Views What a beautiful place, we used to rent boats from here or Lang’s as kids in the 80’s and 90’s. Such good memories!! Now it’s a fish and chip shop and cafè, was impressed with the food, the BYO option and that you could dangle a line or two off the edge while eating dinner and having a Pinot. The John Dory sells out quick apparently but worth rushing in for. Well done was good simple no fuss eatery - staff great food great location perfection. Add it to your list!

Love your food but recently you started serving some meals on bread boards. Why do you think your clientele would like that? Most of us use plates. Plates hold your food and stop portions of it from falling onto the table or floor. Bread boards do not. They are a pain, and not nearly as cool as Pete Evans or any other TV chef might suggest. Also, our chips came in little "frying baskets". Is this another Masterchef trend? Please, no. Plates also hold chips quite well. Love your food, love the views from your deck. Please drop the trendy serving fashion and stick with what works.
