Popped in this morning for a coffee and breakfast, it was fabulous! There is just a lovely smell of baked bread from the moment you approach. Shop itself is clean, modern and simple. We had coffee and 3 cheese and spinach pasties (very filling for a single person). Coffee was hot and tasty. The sourdough breads looked stunning! Definitely worth popping in if your in Pambula and need a feed or a coffee!

One of the best bakeries I’ve been to. We were passing through but I would plan a longer trip to Pambula just to visit this bakery again. Great authentic baked goods, pastries, and coffee. The brûlée tarts were a stand out.

On that note, this place could do with a little more organisation in terms of how many people are lined up inside - it can get a little crowded at times which is not so good during COVID. We found out about this bakery after visiting the Roastery (coffee) shop a few days earlier. Great bakery with a large selection of breads, pies and pastries. We also had the coffee which was great. Highly recommended for anyone in Pambula or travelling through!

The lack of customer service and care from the Sheila that served me was made up in the quality of the pie and coffee I decided to sample on this day. Decided to go for the dog’s eye with mushroom drizzled with some dead horse washed down with a piccolo late on this cold winters day. The dogs eye was great! Great fresh pastry, great quality of meat, mushroom and nice rich gravy. I might return some day soon and go revisit to sample another selection of their great pies with hopefully a bit more friendliness.

Nice artisanal bakery along the highway into Bega/sapphire coast. Ordered a steak and mushroom pie and it was great. Though there isn't many places to sit and it's not exactly a tranquil location, if you do want to sit down, recommend ordering and taking driving down to Pambula life saving club and picnicing with the beach views.

Very great bakery. Busy. Friendly staff. Got the escargot/pain au raisin. I normally don’t them glazed but this one was glazed with an apricot jammy syrup and sprinkled with pistachios. Pastry was flakey but not much raisin around the scroll, all was in the middle. Also got the BBQ Angus pie. Had it a few hrs later but it was still delish. Savoury and tang and sweet from the caramelised onion. Recommend stopping for a treat

Wow wow - what a great bakery cafe! Stopped by for breakfast and found this place - the cakes / breaks and filled paninis I ate were just glorious! I could have spent the whole day there trying all there cakes ! Coffee was very very good! I will go back and will eat / try a whole lot more next time (+500km drive) but worth it as the quality is outstanding. Oh and the staff were all smiles - even though I got caught on a long phone call! Great food great coffee Nice people 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Omg!!!! Amazing pies. Soft buttery pastry Angus pie had wonderful flavour with the right amount of pepper. I had the seafood mornay. So good and no seafood extender ( thank goodness!! I hate that stuff!) One of the best bakery in Oz!

Friendly service, fantastic pies and good dependable coffee. Stayed a few nights in Pambula and then in Merimbula and kept coming back here for coffee and meals. Couldn’t recommend highly enough. Also, if you’re stewing over whether to get a pastry, stop it and just buy one already 😁

This could be a one sentence review just saying that this place has the best pies i have tasted for many years, and I have been around for quite a few. The staff are pleasant and, although it is not an eat in establishment at the moment, there are a number of council supplied tables and chairs in the area. The filling in the pies are great AND the pastry holds it all together as you eat the pie. Do yourself a favour and try one.

Went this morning for a t/a coffee. Left with bread. Came back 2 hours later for another coffee and left with a pie and another loaf! Staff is absolutely lovely and great at what they do. The pie was so good I could down 3 more, definitely recommend the volkorenbrood, I grew up on this type of bread back home but this one was the best I've ever had. Do yourself a favour and drop by this place, you'll miss out if you don't!

The coffee is good. They also roast their own beans. I also had a curry pie, the pastry was good, meat tender and the curry was not over powering. Overall a good quality pie. The cakes are decadent. I tried the pistachio and something. It was well made and rich. Delicious. I feel in love with the Rye Sourdough bread and wish I wasn't 3 hours away so that I could have it every day.

This place has great food and coffee, only huge problem with it is on Mondays the usual friendly owner are not there and they have the most rudest lady counter staff that we had ever met!!! She knew nothing about the ingredients in the pies..... she was sarcastic in answering any question posed to her. She just doesn't care about customers. She is ruining the business!!!! Pies held together nicely while driving didn't make a mess and didn't burn your tastebuds out of your mouth for the day. Only points to improve on, needs more bacon on the cheese & bacon pie. This place is fantastic the best bread, cakes and coffee in the area went there 3 times in 2 days it was so good…

Just passing through and stopped for a coffee and snack. Very busy shop so could see it was popular. I had the best pie, thai chicken curry pie, absolutely delicious. Coffee was excellent and the service was quick and courteous. Definitely visit again when in the area.
