You might be able to get a better hamburger with the lot elsewhere...but I very much doubt it. Ive been eating burgers for 50 years plus Australia wide and America, and yes these burgers are better than in the US which is the home of the hamburger!..The burgers here are unbeatable quality and consistently good. The chips are 1st class. This is an award winning fish shop and it's easy to see why.

Fine fish and chips! Simple, straightforward and what you’d expect. Nice clean store with your standard takeaway options. Nice to see that they have freebies if it’s your birthday and the prices are pretty standard. Popular with locals but they do a good job turning the orders around quickly but would probably worth phoning in to order.

I am a fussy eater. I stress on the fussy. Picky as! I've only ever like 2 pieces of fish in my life... 1 in my Scottish chippy and here. This is a really good wee place. The staff are lovely and full up your chip poke. The butterfish is delicious. Hot dog is loaded to the max. My partner says - try the wee chilly squid. They are delicious also. Infact, we are on our way there right now because it's so yummy . 😋

Great tasting fish and chips. Hot dog 🌭 with the lot and Chilli Squid are all fantastic. We keep coming back even with other places closer to where we live. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Fantastic traditional (eg. Proper portions!) fish and chip shop, cheerful service & very reasonable prices. My fish was fresh and delicious. They were training a new staff member and it was very nice to note the respect and kindness with which they treated each other, and the dedication and attention to detail they pay to their work, all while working rapidly.

Shop is clean and service is fairly fast, a new sign inside the shop clearly states what they sell NOT what is not available like other shops. Situated on Richmond Road which is a very busy road so take care if you park outside the shop you don't get hot by other cars. Reasonable prices and the fish is fresh not frozen like other shops. Staff is not overly friendly although that may be because of the way they are in their country, but they are efficient and care about their product. Recommendation: quick and reasonably priced, best fish and chips i have eaten for a very LONG time.... go and try proof is in the eating. Score: 8/10

Narrow shop with several staff being kept busy. Despite its size it is a popular shop with a wider range of items than some, also have specials on some items eg $x or $×× for "y". Travelled past many times, and always been busy each time but first time actually visiting and would do so again.
