Takeaway the fries and spicy Chicken burger as dine-in was closed and ate few fries while driving home, which is like 5mins. Fries were like reheated in the fryer, not even freshly fried. The burger was good as always.

Everything is so well cooked and well seasoned. I’ve always had the chicken burgers which are delicious but today had a beef burger and WOW, fries are flavourful, top it off with a Fanta pineapple and I’m happy.

Okay so we have had a lot of burgers around Australia and I'm going to say a statement now that may be controversial but hands down, best burger we have had. Ever! Juicy, full of flavor and cooked to perfection. Both the chicken and beef burgers were good. And the fries deserve a hall of fame honor on its own. Oh and the shakes. Man, I can keep going. Do your taste buds a favour and go have a Nordburger. Also please open in Melbourne. In the south eastern suburbs. Please please please.

I’m on holidays here and have had quite a few burgers before this one. Bar far the best I’ve had on our trip to Adelaide. These guys know what it’s about!! Chips were great too…

Always a great experience at NordBurger. The fillings are always fresh and full of flavour, the drink selection has the standards plus a few surprising American delights and there’s an ice cream machine for thick shakes and smoothies. A quick and easy mid range meal. The decor is always clean and simple and matched across the brand’s outlets.

Went in for a meal and ordered via the QR code scanner on the table. The restaurant was empty so after 20 mins we asked if our order was coming as we noticed they weren't cooking anything. They responded with "that was scheduled for in 30 mins" yet we never scheduled the order for later and they could clearly see we were the only ones in the building and didn't have any meal. Once the food eventually came it was very tasty though.

Their burgers are very good, especially I prefer the mushroom and would recommend all to try it. I also tried chicken nuggets, their chicken is better and it’s not the frozen one coated with Bread crumbs - but it’s not so tasty though. The provide mustard sauce, actually very few places offer that. Though they are open till 9:30pm they do refuse to dine in people around 9:15pm..

After coming back from America and having so many great Burger experiences its great to know I can still find an amazing burger experience right here in little old Adelaide. Although I dont recommend having Nordburger for Breakfast lunch and tea everyday, it is good to tuck into some decadence like this every now and again. Waiting for my next burger craving to strike.

Nice burgers but seriously, why do you need to charge a fee for customers using any form of paywave, not just credit? Cash is no longer the normal way of payment. Why, particularly during a pandemic, you would charge customers more to pay by paywave is bewildering.

Not sure what all the recent bad reviews are about. Very busy dinner on Valentine's Day, staff were under the pump and doing very well considering. A fair wait in the queue to order, but the food was ready in under 20 minutes, which is good considering the intensity. Burgers were fresh, juicy and delicious, as were the nuggets and chips. I'll be back for more!

Quality doesn't seem to change at Nord on Port Rd. Have been happy with every burger I've had from it so far. Spice chicken had that mouth watering tang to it which was nice. And the patty's are always juicy and fresh. Fries changed though the old style were better.

Very nice sized servings. I enjoy these hamburgers as closer to regular hamburgers not gourmet which can go a little overboard. Menu should have something for everybody. Like the selection of American sodas, always a creaming soda. The only reason not 4 out of 5, when they first opened, they had crinkle cut chips with a really delicious seasoning. Somewhere along the way they stopped selling them. I am sad.

The burgers here never disappoint! The only critique I have is that sometimes we hit the jackpot with enough sauce on the loaded fries, other times there is barely any. Overall a wonderful place for a cheat meal.

We went here for dinner. The food came out fairly fast, the customer service was good. I just have to say the food is a bit overpriced to what you receive. The chicken nuggets and chips were fine a decent size but my burgers beef patty was too small for the bun. The chips and nuggets were awesome. The chilli and cheese chips just tasted like taco sauce and i was not a fan of it. The snickers milk shake was really yummy for the first few sips but then it got too sickly.

Patties: average size, albeit a little on the dry side. Buns: tasteless fluff. Filling: standard sauces, standard pickles. Overall, the burgers weren't anything special. The venue (tiles and concrete floor) feels a lot like sitting in a European underground station or a changing room of a historic swimming pool. Not a place to linger.

Food is consistently good, not as good as the original shop in Norwood but way better than the site in the markets. Nordburger make possibly the best burger patty is Adelaide, pricing is pretty good and there are plenty of great options (like the very tasty chicken burgers). Still my favourite American style cheeseburger, doing simple well is often really hard to do and most other burger places just can’t compete in the tastiness off the patty.

Great "retro diner" experience. The fried chicken in the burger range is some of the best I've had. Decent loaded fries, a good range of shakes and Americana soft drinks. The decor is a little bland, and the fries could do with more crunch, but overall it's really good stuff.

And don't forget your side of fry sauce with your choice of fried potato! I live in Sydney but visit often for family and always make time to come here.

I have no idea how the do it but the burgers here are just amazing. Succulent patties, hot off the grill, just does it for me every time. Fries are pretty great too. I like pineapple, so my personal favourites are the big kahuna and and chicken kahuna. If you hate pineapple, the chicken burger is great too. The deep fried chicken is super tender yet crispy on the outside, giving it just the right amount of bite.

Went there for a Saturday lunch and had probably one of the tastiest burgers in Adelaide. Not the most inspired dining area, but gives you a seat to smash your burger down. Do yourself a favour and get the Bacon Double + Tater Tots with Fry Sauce. You won't regret it!

The place is good, open and spacious. There is a dedicated hand washing section in addition to the bathroom which is very convenient as it can get quite messy eating the delicious burgers. The burgers are very good, and is a great alternative to the fast food chain. The fries are fantastic too. One thing that puts me off is the service. You seat yourself down, you go up to the counter to place your order and you pick up your own dishes when they are ready (you get notified via buzzer). This to me is food court service but price is definitely acceptable but not with that level of staff service. Another thing that puts me off is the staff. They can be a bit more presentable, especially if their job is to stand behind the counter taking orders from customer. If it wasn't for the above two points they would get a 5 stars score from me. I would still recommend people to try it out.

Quality has changed since initial opening. Food is still good, but not as great as it used to be. Burger sizing has changed. Beef patties have a loss in quality. Buttermilk chicken burgers no longer as high quality, seems to be cheaper quality, no longer premium fried chicken. Worth a visit regardless.

I came here with my bf for a super late lunch two weeks ago on his suggestion :) The place was pretty quiet, which was nice. The service was friendly and really fast. I forgot to tell them I didn't want mustard, and the guy serving offered to give me a whole new bun, which I thought was really sweet (I just scraped it off tho, no point in wasting food). Very Good - tasted better than the one in the Central Market IMO, but it needs better signage/advertising.

Honestly, the best burgers I've ever had. A local Adelaide institution, serving American style goodness. I was disappointed when they stopped offering soft serve sundaes (the best frozen custard soft serve) but soon got over that. Beautifully sleek spaces, and a menu catering equally well to beef or chicken burger lovers. I haven't had the vegetarian option so can't comment, but a friend has spoken highly of them. A favourite is chili cheese tater tots, with jalapenos on top (you have to ask for this as an extra), and either the bacon double or the spicy chicken burger with a vanilla shake when I'm going all out. Do yourself a favour if you're a burger lover 👍

I would suggest takeaway or uber eats from Nordburger, as it doesn't have the greatest atmosphere inside.. Their burgers are always consistently good unlike a lot of other burger places. It doesn't matter what you have from Nordburger, weather its a chicken burger, thickshake or their loaded fries you will enjoy it. With an awesome selection and reasonable pricing, I would definitely recommend them.

Having heard excellent news about this burger place, I was beyond excited to try it out! However, when I got here, my expectations were foiled... The food, while delicious, was plonked sadly on a dull metal tray, looking for all it's worth like it had been out in the sun for too long. Dying of thirst, it truly looked like it needed a pick me up, and soon! I was further disappointed with the chips. Again, while delicious, they were drenched in oil and was served in what could have passed as a miniature laundry basket with a paper sheet covering only half the basket. Sad, really. I think that this place served some excellent food, but I was disappointed by the lack of passion in its presentation. With a bit of work and effort, this place could truly be great, and I would happily come here again. For now, however, it will just remain a sad dreg in the back of my mind - an already fading memory of a lifetime of disappointments...

The Chicken Parmesan has a fillet that only covers half the bun, so if you get over the almost $10 price tag then it's still a good burger. The beef patties taste great and are appropriately sized keeping in mind they use large buns to start with. The only negative is the onion smell you're left with when you leave the store. You'll need to have a shower and send your suit to the dry cleaners. Go in casual clothing and have a great time with nice staff.

You have to pay separate for sides and drinks so works out to be quite expensive for a basic meal of burger, fries and a drink. approximately $15.50 and you may still be hungry as the servings are not big. Atmosphere is good but can get quite busy and the wait can be long.

Nordburger is so very, very good! Yes, it's Americanised and therefore greasier than other burger places, but when they taste this good, who cares if it takes longer on the treadmill to burn it off. With delicious fries, tater tots and epic shakes (salted caramel anyone?) what more could you ask for? Oh yeah, great prices too! The burgers are not that much more than Macca's, but significantly better quality, taste and size. Great for the kiddies too, I cannot recommend Nords enough!

Burgers are consistently excellent at both Nordburgers but I prefer this one as you can easily get parking and actually fit into the building. Due to the quality, taste and consistency I'd give Nordburger the award for best burgers in Adelaide. Great to see that Nord Buger doesnt turn over staff like other burger places and I believe this leads to your product always being what you invsioned it to be(I hope you're paying these crucial people correctly). Service was pretty terrible. Charge a surcharge without telling me that no matter what eftpos transaction theres a surcharge. But when asked the manager on duty was confused like he didnt know how to respond. The sign says surcharge on all "credit card Transactions". Also the music was way to loud you couldnt keep a conversation because of the volume. When placing my order the server was so quiet that the volume over powered her words needing to get her to repeat herself. Burgers came with way to much sauce on the cheese burger. The chicken burger was fine except the patty wasnt really a patty it was like a ball of chicken with batter. Needed to be flatter, made the burger very hard to eat. On a good note the milkshakes were good. The burgers were tasty apart from their obvious flaws. Id recommend it as a place to go after a big night of drinking and needing a feed.

Udated 2019: from 4 to 5 starts. Whilst other burger places have dropped, Nordburger has stuck to it roots and conitue to deliver each and every time. Great take away and AMAZING when you eat in. My choice is the double bacon add pickled jalapenos and Chipotle sauce. For pure beefy flavour, this is one of the best burger places in Adelaide.

Stick to hungry jacks? What a joke. Some people wouldn't know a good burger if it was dropped in their pants and then smashed in to their face. To start of with, the tastes of their burgers are up there with BT, and the size of what you get for the money is up there with FB. NB is by far the better burgers in Adelaide. I would rate the Parade location slightly better only for atmosphere. But the port rd location is super convenient. Never had an issue with staff, they've always been helpful and energetic. Maybe if some customers have the charisma of a brick it rubs off on to the clerk, just saying.
