Haven't been in over 2 years due to the whole C19. Husband had an urge for the dagwood dog burger and my son had the same. I had a chicken burger. Both boys enjoyed theirs, mine was good but was a bit lacking 😕 staff friendly, could use a bit of a clean up.

Went here for takeaway cheeseburgers. No one was there when we ordered so didn’t have to wait too long for burgers to be cooked so that was a plus. Meat patties were a bit overcooked and on the thin side so weren’t nice and juicy like a meat patty should be (a bit of a shame as they use cape grim beef which is great quality beef!). Because the beef was so thin & dry the bread to meat ratio wasn’t ideal. Heard a lot about Getta so was keen to try but was a bit disappointed.

Life changing burgers. That is how I can describe the Cape Grim Brisket burger that I had. I added a patty and fries and although it was a bit expensive it was definitely an excellent choice. The burgers are huge and full of flavour. Every single bite you take is literally a taste party and in my opinion is one of the best burgers that I have had ever. Despite the burger being amazing and delivered in a timely manner through Uber Eats, the fries were a bit too salty for my taste. The fries had brisket, pulled pork,mustard, ranch and bacon. This made the fries soggy and somewhat unpleasant. But the main thing with it was that they were too much. Sometimes extra bacon is great but in this case I think it was too much. Still it was an excellent experience and I will 100% eat again here.

Three of us went there around 1130, food was pretty quick even though only one guy was working. I had the vegan burger and it was actually delicious. The patty was fried so it was crispy but the combination of flavours were nice plus you got sweet potato chips in the burger. Mouth watering presentation as well, especially from the photos on google reviews. The normal chips taste like real potato. They were shoestrings, crunchy, portion size generous and not overly salty. One of the best fries i’ve had.

I can't get enough of the Filthy Fries at Gettaburger. It's like eating a Delicious double cheeseburger with its delicious sauces and moist tasty smoked meat! In short, “Did not satisfy the expectations”. The burgers were well presented and looked alright. However, the beef in the “Getta Beef Brisket” was overcooked and also the burger served cold. On the other hand, there wasn’t any issue with the other burger that we ordered: “Getta Filthy”. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The expectations regarding this place was much higher than what actually experienced.

Getta Burger is our go-to burger place in West End for burgers that appeal to all our family tastes - vego, vegan and meaty. I love the vegan cheeseburger, and the thickshakes are awesome too, if you can manage to fit it in. Priced pretty well especially if you go the smaller size and add chips, onion rings etc!

The "dirty fries" were decent and probably would have been enough food to have ordered by itself. The fried chicken burger tasted alright, but I was a bit disappointed about how the cheese wasn't melted, making it feel a bit more like I was eating a cold sandwich. The the rest of the burger wasn't cold, don't get me wrong, it just wasn't warm enough to melt the cheese. I suppose I could have sent it back for reheating, but I had already been waiting a long time by then and was afraid it would be another 15 mins if I said anything. Not a bad experience overall, just nothing special.

The service is amazing, I come here quite often and they recognise me and know my order without me even telling them. Everyone I bring to this store always leaves extremely satisfied and full. The chips are in a tier of thier own for fast food chips, they melt in your mouth after a satisfying crunch. Sad.. Let down by just a few fixable but altogether devastating underlying issues. The meat while smoked is under seasoned. And of 2 different burgers tried (pig out and getta burger) both were dry and in serious need of sauce or some sort of moisture. The fries while crunchy, tasted unseasoned,and like they were cooked in old oil. The onion rings though were the highlight. Truly fluffy gorgeous and delicious! But this is is burger place.. And while large.. These burgers just were missing too much care.

The time from placing an order to getting the food is generally quite long and the prices are quite high but if your willing to wait and pay up it is definitely worth it. Went last night as a group of 3 and it was our first time (and defiantly not our last). The service was friendly and fast and the pulled pork burger was so yummy! Great sizes (they do a regular and large), very generous on the burger fillings, the meat was so juicy and flavourful! The Filthy Fries are so amazing too! The most amazing chicken fried burger. Huge portions. Amazing sauce. Highly recommend the lot burger. The chips are so good. The loaded fries are very generously topped with sauce and meat. Parking can be a bit tricky but just phone in your order. You can always stock up at the greek supermarket while your burger is being cooked.

The burgers here are fantastic, good quality, taste great, the pulled pork is arguably the best in my opinion. The filthy fries are unbelievably good It is a bit oily, so you feel slightly sick afterwards.

I believe this place deserves more customers (I think it's because of the location) staff guy was nice but the inside needs to be brighter and I think they should use reusable containers for burgers (as you can see from the picture my burger and mozzarella stick was served with paper container)

Love this place! I usually go to Getta Burger Ashgrove but decided to give them a miss this time because the quality has been slipping (fries that are way overcooked, burger patties that don't taste right) and the wait times have been getting worse and they have mucked up my order a few times. This Getta Burger was excellent. The service was friendly and efficient, the food was quick and the burger tasted great, plus they didn't muck up my order. The fries were great as well! Way better than the Ashgrove store. Will definitely come here for my Getta burger fix from now on.

Surprised and unsettled by this place, but in a good way. Having had burgers all over the world, I found this experience a little more mainland USA than regional Australia. BY this I mean the Burgers are HUGE. As 50+, my wife and I could have shared one between two. That said, lovely BBQ flavour, tender meat - make sure to order less and you will enjoy more -you can always order seconds. Big fan of the slow cooked brisket and the cheeseburger. Lovely fries but also big serves Great value. I'd personally enjoy smaller serves in return for a lower price.

I must admit the burgers are large, however you are paying $12-18 for the burger alone. It didn't taste so great, you can home make them rather nicer in my opinion. It still isn't a bad joint (drink range is good) but I reckon you could grab a better burger elsewhere and for better value.

Burgers are generally great. They just seem to cope very badly when it gets busy and are disorganised. Was asked to hold when calling up to order only to be waiting in line for almost 10 minutes while I could listen to lots of walk-in customers putting their orders in.

I love a big dirty getta burger to satisfy the occasional greasy cravings (I’m a part time vego). Their menu is great and their specials are usually pretty creative but I think the big bun for a few dollars extra is a bit of a stitch up! I love coming down with friends as they have a good setup and are always playing pretty good music but it’s also great hangover food if you can’t make it out of bed. The beef burgers are my go to, not a huge fan of the fried chicken (each to their own though).
