This is my 3rd time here and it is ALWAYS a 10/10. Location: Easy to find, car park available and access for wheelchair is easy to get around. Venue: I'm gonna sound weird, but it always feels like when I'm at this place- time stops. Haha 🤦🏾‍♂️🤣 Seating area both outside of main shop and inside. Food: The burgers are definitely one of the BEST in BRISBANE! You have a VARIETY OF CHOICES and and none of them will disappoint. My personal favorite is the Philly Me Up Steak Burger with chips and L&P 🤤 The pricing is worth the meal, if you want good food- you better be willing to pay for it because these guys will come thru! Customer service: always 10's across the board! The ladies at the register are always polite, patient and helpful. They know how to make you laugh and always check up on you to make sure you are enjoying your meal/time there. Thanks for looking after us, see you next time!

Good burgers, and very generous portions. Me and my mates always go every Saturday to Poppy’s and we love it! The burgers are big and we normally get the cheesy wezzys so good! Service is quick, friendly staff and always happy to serve us and love a good conversation. One of the best burger places in the west side! We’ve taken relatives from interstate here, so it goes to show! Would recommend and will be back 👌

Our first visit to Just Poppy's. We are planning our next one. The only problem is to not go back every day and try and new burger. The burgers are great, I really liked the sweet potato chips, there is beer on some days. The staff are amazing and engaging. Don't think about it, just go and enjoy a good meal.

This is the best burger place in Brisbane. The menu is great, highly customizable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and their sauce selection is second to none. The have options for every diet and can also make salads out of the burgers! I think the only thing that could be improved might is the buns, which are the same for all burgers, I’m not sure if they’re toasted, and they could use some brioche options.

Absolutely amazing burgers - the best I have had in 53 years. I had The Flood it and my daughter one of the avocado vegan options, along with cheesy fries. The food was hot, delicious and plentiful. It was served quickly. The staff were very friendly and efficient. I can’t recommend this place enough. We visited on a Saturday afternoon.

I was conducting some work over that side of town and finished late so I thought I'd treat myself. A quick google revealed Just Poppy's vegan burgers. It was extremely busy which is usually good sign. The staff were friendly and polite and advised of a 40+ minute wait, I waited happily as I was advised upfront. I ordered an udder madness a drink and some onion rings. The burger was delicious and the onion rings were exceptional. I will absolutely make my way back over to try some other burgers. A little on the expensive end in my opinion but it's delicious so I didn't have that regret. A good experience all round.

What a superb gem tucked away in the western suburbs of Brisbane, in Riverhills! I've heard of bikies riding up from the Gold Coast just for the burgers here - testament to Just Poppy's being voted the No.1 burger place in Brisbane. This place is SO worth a visit. Beef fans have a choice of typical ground beef patties, or rib-fillet steak burgers. And don't despair if you're not a beef fan - there are chicken burgers, lamb burgers, fish burgers, bacon burgers, pork burgers, veggie burgers, and even a vegan burger (the vegan step daughter loves this one!).A children's menu is also available. If you're not in the mood for burgers, there is a small 'snacks' menu to choose from ... food like pork riblets and crumbed sausages. The last time we went (Jan-18), we had: a Razorback (pork burger), Bring back the Biff (beef) and some absolutely delicious sweet potato fries. All very good. We'll be back again and again and again.

Had been waiting to visit this place from the time I arrived in Brisbane. Finally got the opportunity to visit this legendary place and it didn't disappoint. To my surprise, they have a shop next door that sells only ice creams and shakes by the name of Just Gelato & shakes. The two make an amazing combination for someone not looking to have the usual meal. We ordered the queenslander and the cheese me please burger along with shakes from next door. The burger is the best thing that I have had since Betty's and for the price, I was upset that there is nothing like this in Sydney. A must visit for people in Brisbane, irrespective of burger craving or not.

Great Burgers!! This place doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not. It is a small take away with some tables and chairs. If you want a great range of burgers this IS the place to come. It can be very busy at peak times but staff are friendly and efficient. Prices range from around $8 to it's gut filling $24 burger. I haven't had a burger here that I didn't enjoy wrapping my mouth around. 10/10

Great burger restaurant for dine in and takeaway. Plenty of burger varieties to suit everyone! Chicken, beef, lamb, vegetarian. What a delicious feed. I would recommend the ‘Chicken Little’ burger for a basic start with cheese and mayo added. Tender chicken breast served on a fresh bread bun with salad. Side of sweet potato fries works a treat. The cheezy wheezy fries are also mouth watering for those who want a bigger feed. Just Poppy’s tastes like the best home cooked wholesome burgers you can have. Ingredients are fresh and don’t taste like frozen preservative filled patties. You get what you pay for. The staff are excellent and service is always on point. There can be an occasional 30-40min wait if the store is super busy at peak Friday/Saturday night times however this can easily be forgiven as I can understand why so many people are ordering food from Just Poppy’s. 5/5 stars

I'm not one to normally review something as subjective as food, but Poppy's has definitely earned an exemption. Poppy's has been a bit of a hidden gem in my local area which always offered pretty darn good home-made burgers (and a huge variety of burgers) always with a generous portion of great chips. I hadn't been there in a few months, but stopped off for an order last night and where they were "darn good", they've bumped it up to "damned excellent" sometime since then, and certainly a front-line contender for their claim as the "best burgers in Brisbane". My only past criticism of their burgers was I found them to be a bit on the salty side, and they used to use shredded cheese which didn't have time to melt properly. To my delight, the burger they now served had the salt toned down, and was served with a slice of cheese and crispy bacon. (Riverhills Plaza) As hard as it was to believe they found even better chips to serve in the ever generous paper-wrapped bundle.. A crisp, battered variety. Hands down 6 out of 5 rating.

I can't believe I'd never heard of this place before. These are by far the best, freshest, juiciest, amazing burgees I've had. The beef burger was again okay, nothing great with an average size piece of meat. Again, had better for greater value. Not sure what the hype is about. Drove quite a way to try it. Crispy chips that aren't burned to crisp and beautiful juicy burgers that will make you feel satiated but not bloated with that dirty greasy feeling you get from other burger joints. Friendly and easy going staff even during busy hours, they also follow the protocol when it comes to following the health directives. It takes me half an hour to get to Just Poppy's but I make time for it. Please keep up the good work with the beautiful healthy foods and cleanliness.

Fantastic burgers! My partner told me of this establishment (she works nearby) and highly recommended it to me (as I am rather fond of hamburgers). She (and her work colleagues) have frequently purchased and never had a bad burger. So I eventually tagged along one day and thoroughly enjoyed my burger. I have now been there a few times with her and can highly recommend it. I tried the "Riverhills Plaza" first up and I enjoyed it so much it is my "go to" burger. One day I may branch out and try another offering (but when you are on a good thing..). And the fries...lots of chips, cooked very nicely. My only complaint was when getting gravy with the chips (the last visit) they poured it all over the chips, so they went soggy...as opposed to dipping those beautifully cooked, crunchy chips into the gravy (next time I shall just ask them to put the gravy on the side and I am sure they will oblige). I don't visit that often as I am not even remotely local, but if I am close to that area with my partner we detour as it is the "go to" place for lunch. It is always busy when I visit and I now know why. I daresay this place has a lot of repeat customers, just like me.

The best burgers in Brisbane. Hands down. The massive list of burgers and the freshness of the food makes this place worth traveling too. If you haven’t been here and you don’t know if it’s worth it, do it. You won’t be upset. The wait time is 5-12 minutes in my experience so it’s fairly quick for a place this busy.

The large menu is mildly daunting to start with but when you have time to sit down and go through the selection it's quite incredible and varied. The vegan and vegetarian options seem well put together, and though I did not try any of them on my recent visit I think I will next time. The burger I ate was the hangover which had plenty of bacon and beetroot on it with a nice large egg on top, when I first saw it I wondered how to attack it. All the burgers look huge. My main criticisms are; there was a lot of lettuce for a burger that was already quite a large mouthful, the sauce was only on the top (which makes sense as it prevents the bottom bun from going too soggy and falling apart but the sauce didn't make its way down to the rest of the burger), the patty was a little too cooked, and the bun was very dry and bland. Overall made it a rather dry burger to eat, but still very tasty. The service was excellent and accommodating to the large group that I was a part of, and apart from one of the burgers they brought out all of our burgers in quick succession so we could eat together. In the end I had a wonderful burger eating experience from poppy's. Could've had maybe less lettuce, more sauce, and the bun was quite average, otherwise tasty and the service was excellent. Would recommend, and go again.

We had a gift voucher for $25 which we put towards $48 purchase. Extremely busy place, and the staff handled it with ease. Very friend staff and outside atmosphere was unexpectedly pleasing with the addition of live music. As for the food? These folks know their craft, which was evident due to how busy they were. Got home and the lovely owner had thrown in another voucher for $20. Huge menu, and the vegan burger I had was amazing. Large menu which caters to all dietary preferences. These guys are Gold!

Poppy and Mark produce a no nonses honest burger that screams flavour! Accompany any burger with their beer battered fries and dijonnaise dipping sauce and it's a sublime experience! They're not cheap, but they are worth every cent!!

Simply one of the best burger stops around. I always go here whenever I visit Queensland. I have been here more than a dozen times, and there's always something to fit my mood. Everything a burger should be. HUGE menu to choose from, so many extras and options. Owners are fantastic and have obviously put their hearts into the business and it shows. Best customer service, lovely outdoor sitting area, amazing burgers and chips, FANTASTIC experience. Have an amazing range of sauces and drinks. Ingredients are fresh and flavourful, 40 minute drive from home, but worth it every time! Have arrived moments before closing, while they are starting to pack up and been welcomed in, wholeheartedly, served with the same wonderful attitude as always and asked if it was have here or take away, made a joke about taking away, as i didn't want to keep them there all night, and was given a huge smile and told it was no problem at all. Amazing service and food EVERY visit, I have NEVER had any complaints, but have seen a complaint dealt with the most sincerest apologies and remedied swiftly. The perfect example of what hospitality and customer service should be. Even in the middle of summer, on the hottest days when all the staff are obviously suffering from the heat, the service is polite, fast and enjoyable. This place is a suburban gem! My friends and I went out to eat here and to hang out and the food was phenomenal. All the meals are super creative, you couldnt go wrong with any choice. Just Poppy's is more than meets the eye. At first glance it looks like your standard sort of neighborhood burger place in a slightly run down shopping centre, but what they deliver is far better than average. Their menu has an absolutely absurd number of burgers, ranging from $6 to $25, so you're guaranteed to find something that you like. Service is fast and friendly, portions are pretty big (the standard cup of chips is plenty for more people). Highly recommended.

The burgers are made with love and pride and the service is friendly and welcoming. It's definitely worth the 40 minute drive from our place.

I saw a post about them on facebook and saw the epic portion sizes and instantly went yup that's for me! The have a huge menu catering to absolutely everyone and for the money... trust me it is bloody delicious. Great portion sizes and a wonderful friendly environment. With some tasteful live music if you so desire this place has it all. Great food, a great atmosphere with very polite and friendly staff. Byo booze just bring cups and clean up after yourself. There is even a delicious gelato shop right around from them owned and run by the same great people, so you can pop in for some dessert after dinner. There are even food challenges if that is your thing. I could not fault them if I tried, this is how a restaurant should be. 10/10

Poppy's have 69 burgers on the menu, and even cater for pescatoreans, vegans and vegetarians. Kids meals are substantial. And yes, they even have a few whoppers that could feature in an episode of "Man vs Food". The beef patties are succulent and juicy. The pork patties were a joy to discover.
