We needed lunch and I felt like a burger. Spotted the sign and decided to try, thank goodness we did! Awesome tasting "M K Burger" and chips had a lovely flavouring. If ever we need a feed when in the area again, we will go there immediately! Highly recommended!

Needed a burger spot and wanted to try something different. Found Miss Kay’s and decided to dine in (outside area) with the dog. Ordered a Double Cheeseburger with extra Fried Chicken and Pineapple. The wife ordered a Poutine Burger. Both were very delicious, tasty and filling. Burgers don’t come with fries, they have seperate options either plain or loaded. The wife enjoyed a schooner of cider with her burger which she said made it even better. Overall great experience, will try again.

I have had miss Kay’s burgers in house before and they are to die for, so delicious. Potentially dangerous if you live near one and LOVE burgers! But I would NOT recommend takeaway. The burgers were smooshed and cold. The chips where limp, cold and uninviting. Really disappointed. It was such a shame to spend so much money only to be sorry I had. Only go if you can eat on-site.

Good service, food is fresh and fast and drinks range is good. But that's about it really. The burger (get clucked) I had was pretty bland (no seasoning on the chicken at all) and it was cold because they didn't melt the cheese on the meat or heat the bun, it was really below average for a burger restaurant! The fire fries were missing the sriracha mayo so weren't spicy at all except for the jalapenos. We asked for the spicy sauce to be put on them after they came out with none and the waitress brought them back with a lot more of the great globs of cheese sauce (which is also cold and honestly that is pretty silly on hot fries!) so they were fairly unenjoyable really. The wings were tasty and good sized but nothing to rush back for.

Never been here before, was just a random drive looking for something to eat for dinner. This place was definately very inviting. Ordered the ludakrisp burger which tasted fresh az! The elvis milkshake was the shiz, love the peanut flavor and got me jailhouse rockin yoo. Annnnd OMG, been a minute since i had fried pickles and the salt & vinegar gave it that extra kick in the ballsackz, got me singing heavenly angel music. This place is pretty chilled so good for a first date but come dressed up like danny zuko, you'll fit right in. I dont drink alcohol but they sell it here if u want to get wasted. But the place is mint go try it out. Cheerio

Dined in. Burgers were delicious. Shame that the tables weren't being cleaned. It was very slow tonight, not more than 10 people in the store in the hour we were there. Our table was sticky when we got there. Has to wipe it down ourselves. Witnessed another group having to so the same thing when they sat at a table.

The beef patties are just incredible, no matter which Miss Kay's you go to it's the same mouthwatering flavour. The double cheeseburger is really all you need for a fill, you don't need to bother with the chips but if you do get the loaded fries.

Additionally our burgers could have used a tiny bit more sauce but otherwise they were wholesome and super tasty! Ambience was good too. Drinks are reasonably priced, was lots of seating as well. The burgers were overall awesome - make sure you visit!

The burgers here are great but the wait time is so long. I tell myself every time that it wasn’t that long last time but it was. You wait about 20mins just to give get takeaway fries. I’m really undecided if it’s worth it or not.

The burgers were quite good, but the chips were absolutely abysmal. The Cluckin' Good burger was delicious - very juicy and fresh. The Mac Daddy was reasonably tasty, all the ingredients worked well together, but the experience was compromised by the quality of the chips inside it. Which brings me to the chips - they're similar in style to Maccas, but worse. They were very dry and by the time we picked up the food and arrived home they were completely cold even though we live locally. If you hit this place up, my advice is to go for the burgers, but skip the chips entirely (even inside a burger).

Nothing out of the box. If you order a burger - thats all you get - all sides are extra. The meat in my burger was pretty much tasteless, the salad very ordinary, the bun - just a bun. The burger was served on a large tray - no cutlery or salt and pepper etc. The decor of the restaurant is very industrial. All in all I would next time prefer a small Cafe when considering a burger.

The food here is great - the burgers and fries taste really good, and you get loads of fries. Nice ambience as well. The only downside is that you can be waiting for your order for quite some time if it's busy, so if you're not okay with that don't come during peak hour.

Miss Kays location and ambiance is really great and an awesome place to catch up even if you have a big group of people. We ordered M.K Special burger and Fried chicken burger, both the burgers were Lacking SAUCE which made our burgers a bit too dry. My fried chicken was a bit too oily as well - made my burger tasted funny. Burger buns were nice and soft (well buttered). Maybe next time I could ask for extra sauce on the burger buns and add American cheese to add on top. Would definitely come back!!

I had been keen to try Miss Kay's for quote some time as it is right across the road from my bus stop and the restaurant always looks very cosy and welcoming. The restaurant has a lot of outdoor and indoor seating options (and is also dog friendly in the outdoor area which is nice!) And I love the modern/retro type feel to the decor and lighting. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, quick service and didn't wait too long to get our food. The burger was full of flavour, the patty was cooked to perfection and the fries were hot, crisp and not greasy like many other burger places I have visited. The milkshake I had was really yummy and I look forwards to trying others on the menu next time :) Overall very enjoyable experience (went at a time where we could watch the sunset which was also nice) and I expect I will go there a few more times.

I am always nervous to order from somewhere we have never tried before but the food was amazing and I am so impressed with your allergy info on their site. I recommend Miss Kays to everyone!! i’ve been to miss kay’s a handful of times and every time it’s been a great experience. from burgers to poutine style fries and wings, everything is amazing. food is a little pricey but definitely worth it. the mac daddy is my favourite burger here. a wide variety of sides and drinks are also sold here and the names and food are very quirky and different. definitely will be back soon :)

We ordered a 'Get Clucked', fries and burger rings. It took 45 minutes which I felt was a bit long. I was happy with the burger rings; the burger was nice but I did use the sauce I got for the fries to add extra flavor as it was a bit bland. The fries were over cooked. I would go back, I understand it was busy.

Took a mate with me for our first Miss Kay's experience and we weren't let down. Food was delicious and served in a timely manner. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. Photos on the wall were a great trip down memory lane, particularly as said mate has an encyclopedic memory for 90s era movies. For food I had a Mac and Cheese burger for something different and quite enjoyed it. For sides we went with loaded hot fries (delicious and a decent amount of jalapeño) and jalapeño poppers (simply amazing).

Stumbled across this great burger place literally by accident. The best accident in a long long time. I wasn't too sure about it when we first walked in as there didn't seem to be too much going on. After perusing a fairly simple menu and placing our order at the bar we sat out on the deck in the afternoon sun. I had only the smallest slurp from my beer and the burgers were arriving. Looking as good as they tasted we were so pleasantly surprised we will be back soon.

I really wanted to like this place as I love a good burger and shake and enjoy the classic diner aesthetic, however Miss Kay's left more to be desired. The burgers we ordered were both bland and dry, which may have been remedied by a bit more sauce. The milkshakes were very foamy and unremarkable compared to competitors such as Betty's Burgers and Burger Urge. The bright colours and booths could have popped more if there was a bit more decor but the seating inside was sparse and limited and made the room feel cold, not enticing you to stay long.

My wife and I went in opening time Saturday morning at 11am for some lunch. The service was excellent right off the bat. My wife has a life threatening allergy to pepper and the young lady at the front counter was all to happy to give us options for the meal. We ordered an M.K Special, Fried Wings and Miss Kay's Fries. The burger itself had decent quality, where the taste balance between the buns and the fillings was appropriate. However, the fries were already soggy when served, and the fries tasted like just artificial chicken salt. I'd say they should be able to do more in the near future, on the ground that the quality of the burger itself was pretty good. Will look forward to it :)

The burgers at Miss Kay's are fantastic and there is a good selection. There is also a decent bar with a lot of beers on tap. The atmosphere is good with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and you can even bring you dog if you want to sit outside. The wait is generally less than 10 minutes but this would depend on your group size. Takeaway is available but they do not offer phone orders. Prices for a burger are around $10 to $15 but they are large and the quality make them worthwhile.

I went hear mid week so it was perfect as the restaurant was empty and quiet . So I was able to order, eat and get back to work all with in my lunch break. The food is extremely nice I have eaten here 3 times and had 3 different items off the menu and all have been very nice. The price is ok. But if your after cheap this isn't the place. The menu is limited but if you are like me this is good and you don't too many options to pick from. This is a place I would definatley promote and in the words of Arnie "I'll be back"

Staff was happy and bubbly, but more focused on having fun behind the wall (out of site?) rather than attending to patrons needs. I caught the attention of one staff member to ask her for a fork... but alas, she kept walking away from me, not bothering to ask why I was gaining her attention? The Cesar Salad was most average with no cherry tomatoes or anchovy and chicken was $4 extra... Do you not know whom this dish is named after, and what "his" ingredients were? If a Cesar Salad has no chicken... its NOT a Cesar Salad If a Cesar Salad has no cherry tomatoes... its NOT a Cesar Salad If a Cesar Salad has no Anchovy... its NOT a Cesar Salad Also why was all of the Parmesan cheese at the bottom? Should it not have been sprinkled on the top? We also had your "pizza" fries. In my opinion these would be MUCH better if they were "chunky" and slightly crispy rather than "French" and a little soggy. Please note that some of these views were from an American guest I had with me tonight. However he only gave 2 stars. I had the M.K. special burger, It was nice and had quality ingredients... However as you received a review about 3 months ago stating disappointment with your buns and you stated that it would be looked into. Still no change eh? If you are charging $15 for a burger, please make it "special" not just name it special. How about using a bun the size of Hungry Jacks whopper but make it a Tiger Bun. Now thats SPECIAL!

Went tonight to try the place out, wanted to sit outside as the live music inside is quite loud but were none available so walked in to the two empty booths both which were full of rubbish so moved it all to one booth waited patiently with dirty napkins on it even when our food was served the table was still not cleaned pretty disappointed ! When it comes to burgers and fries you guys dont disappoint !! The onion rings were massive but unfortunately the onions were not it all manly thick doey batter which made us feel quite sick at the end, also for some reason theres no aircon vents around the booths which made the 33deg day continue on. Headed to Ms Kay’s for lunch. I would like to share my customer experience. We lined up at the counter and were a little underwhelmed with the menu choices- we were very impressed with the customer service and positive attitude of the young man taking orders- however he was also then making the soda drinks for each order and he was the only person taking orders. I saw no other front counter staff working. This made the ever growing line move quite slowly. After ordering we took a seat and my partner wanted to add some Mac n cheese to her burger (she is American and has recently been craving Mac n cheese) however the line had increased and again the young man was the only person working at the front of house. By the time I got to the counter our meal had been delivered but knowing she was craving Mac n cheesed I asked if I could order it as a side - the young man again ever helpful said he was sure he could work something out. I returned to the table and started on my meal (cheese burger and fries - paid separately as burgers do not come with fries) no condiments were supplied - sauce 50cents (oh well bought it anyway) the fries were okay (hard to get that wrong) onion rings again okay - no ranch - couldn’t be bothered buying any. The burger was bloody delicious - very very good burger. I said to my partner “hey look the service was terribly slow, no sauce provided but at the least the food was great” At this stage I figured that I could suck up the poor service processes (certainly was the young fella) if the food is good. So friendly staff- good food.........until the Mac n cheese arrived in a chip cup (that’s cool - it was not a standard order) I said the The guy (who looked like h shift manager or leader) exact words “thanks love can I please get a fork” he said “yes. And if you were to take out the ice he would have had a thimble worth of actual drink. I had a raspberry spider, there’s no way they’re gunna put ice in that, it’s cold enough from the ice cream right? Wrong! Bang ice in there too. Our guests ordered a 1.5L jug of Bonita Apple Pie that was FULL to the top of ice. So as we poured into our glasses (which had ice in them too) ice went everywhere... Look... we had a good time and food was great. However ice is used as a filler to save money and Miss Kays are keeping an ice machine factory in business somewhere
