Burger was really good and reasonably priced, waffle fries were some of the best I've had but unfortunately the mac n cheese was really bad. I'd never had a bad mac n cheese until now but I'd strongly recommend to steer clear. Everything else was great though!

Best filthy burgers in town! Big portions, friendly atmosphere, serves beers and awesome service. Took mum there after shopping for mothers day to share 2 burgers between 3 people and the owners gave us free servings of waffle fries and drinks! They said it was for mothers day but we didn't see any signs advertising that. That is bloody brilliant! I'll be back with mates =)

First time in a Burger Hero and the staff where lovely and very warm, seriously awesome. The good was awesome and we definitely made a mess. You can pick from the typical menu or simply build your own. Orders don't typically take long at all and the portions are massive. Can't go wrong with a massive burger, chips and a drink. Especially when all the other eateries are flooded with people and massive wait times.

Only been here once, but had a very memorable experience. I ordered the southern smoke burger and chilli cheese fries. The burger was very filling and the fires had the perfect amount of spice. Both were delicious. I went in with a large group of people and despite the many orders, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and very quick in getting the orders too us. To top it all of, when I accidentally knocked over a can of soft drink, the staff were quick to clean it up and gave me another one on the house. Overall a great experience with delicious food.

Burgers are delicious, with well-seasoned patties that are cooked perfectly. Great flavour, but maybe a bit heavy on the sauce, so they're pretty messy! Bring a towel. :D

This was a place we decided to visit from a random google search of what to have for dinner in Canberra 😂 Upon arrival there was a friendly atmosphere. When placing a order they where very polite and read the order back, oh my god I was shocked at how cheap it was ! 2 x big burgers and a large waffle chips 2x drink $50 wow! Food was on the table fast for how busy it was! There is parking across the road, bonus. Now what I’m really here to show you is the burger! CHEESE-GASM what we all really mean when we say we want a cheese burger!!!!!!!!

Just tried the new burger from Burger Hero and it's not bad at all, 3/5. The meat tastes like the NextGen patties which I enjoy. The only downside was the cheese, it doesn't melt and unfortunately has a rubbery texture and 0 flavour. Size is good a good value for money. The waffle chips are a solid 5/5 though 😍

Stopped in here for a late lunch before heading to the airport. The shop was clean, there was no wait, and the staff were friendly. We were keen to try the burger with the glazed doughnut buns, but it wasn't available. Instead we tried the 'Cheese-gasm' which was very good - although perhaps we should have shared it! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Canberra.

They are huge...huge. the customer service was really good, the guy serving us was really nice. However I do that think I would not return, but happy to have it ticked off the eating list, because they are an impressive burger.

Amazing burgers with fresh salads and hot fried patties. Waffle fries are the only fries available, which allows people to understand their awesomeness! Paying extra for the deep fried cheese patty was the best decision ever (even though they forgot about it)! Beers on tap in meal deals are also cheap. During peak hours, wait can be 25-30 mins (only downside).

Decent burger joint. Order a custom burger unless you like lots of meat. Friends also tell me they've only ordered takeaway from here. The place has a very burger cafe vibe to it, but there is some great reading material inside. My burger had too many patties in it, and they were very thin as well. The ramen-crumbed chicken burger was very dry and the coleslaw was mostly just dry cabbage with a bit of mayo on it. The waffle fries were amazing though! Very well done. And a nice selection of reasonably priced beers as well. Worth a visit, but I recommend making your own custom burger.

Ordered 2 custom burgers: one lamb and one haloumi. The smash patties are crispy, however the hellfire sauce isn't as spicy as I expected, but that's my personal tolerance. Both burgers were incredibly filling and the waffle fries are a great side. Overall very nice burger cafe aesthetic with many options and friendly staff, would definitely recommend.

Great value for money and delicious burgers. I come here all the time. Their app gives you access to burgers of the week, which are even better value. They have a range of options, including vegan/gluten free burgers - I'm not vegetarian but I often go for their chickpea burger. They even have a dessert burger! There's also a burger challenge you can do to try and make it onto their wall of fame.

Dead set these guys are the best burger place in Canberra. They're accommodating to all dietary requirements and have a wide range of burgers to choose from and design. Their food output is always of a consistently high quality. Not to mention their burger sizes are amazing for the price you get. Unlike other burger places in Canberra such as the disappointing Grease Monkey and Betty's Burgers, the price you pay for the food you get here is SO MUCH BETTER. The staff are always lovely and the managers will always say hello and strike up a conversation especially if you are a local.

The original hero beef burger was a good size and was soft and tasty, definitely one of the better burger options in Braddon area. The waffle chips were delicious and cooked well too. If you are a workaholic, have a go with their Burger hero challenge; trust me, it's loaded with beef patties which weighs like 800g.

The best burgers in Canberra without a doubt. If you like traditional generously sized burgers you will love these. If your feeling particularly hungry or looking for variety try their weekly special which reliably delivers flavour and volume.

Went there on a Saturday for lunch, the TV clearly displays the hero burger for $10. I ordered it plus a can of coke and the total came to $16. When I question it, they told me that price is only for Monday and Tuesday. If so, why did you advertised it for $10 on a Saturday? Asked the register guy (Asian guy) even he is confused about the various and confusing pricing and had to ask the old Asian guy who's cooking the burgers many times. This is misleading practice and incompetence. Edit: in response to owner, prior to ordering i pointed to the TV, and told the register guy numerous times that I want the $10 hero

Damn these chips are good! The Super Burger was really good, but massive. I actually couldn't finish it, which says something. Could have done without the soggy veg but overall patties were perfectly cooked and tasty, and amount of cheese was just right. Plus, they've got $5 beers and a little courtyard to sit in the sun. Smudgy, empty display cabinets. Visibly unclean workspaces cluttered with everything from light bulbs to gym bags. Greasy sauce bottles. No other customers about. Ordered fries, got something closer to hash browns. Almost $20 for a burger, chips and drink. The burger itself was a good size and the sauces and other ingredients OK. The meat though, a little burned and tasted of a hotplate that would benefit from more cleaning. It was only okay, not going back.

Very dirty complex, which makes me question the hygiene in the kitchen too. However the food was really good. It's probably a bit on the expensive side. They had no water to buy. Air con looks like it's never been cleaned before and down lights by the window could have bulbs in them (and/or matching ones). The staff weren't overly friendly in anyway but it wasnt the worst service I have had. I find their isnt much attention to detail.
