I come to Dickson to get a Takeaway meal if I like a chicken meal. Were to go, to Dickson KFC for their famous Chicken dishes. They opened in Dickson around 1980s. still going there for my Takeaway, I go there for years. You can eat inside KFC or outdoor, Drive through, or Takeaway your meals. In 1960s start building the shops in Dickson, and a Hotel was built also, the name of the Hotel was the Dickson Hotel and Pub, was opened in 1960s, until it closed the doors in 1980s. Where is now the Petrol station on the corner of Badham Street and Antill Street, was the motel site and were now KFC site is, corner of the Woolley Street and Badham Street, was part of the building entrance and a car park.

Last Saturday in the 22/01/2022, I was at KFC Dickson around 1.30pm. I bought quite a lot of food and a most pleasant young lady attended to me . I asked for a bag as I wanted to shop Around before going to the car . I asked for a bag n they only had smaller ones but she told he she would look for one in the store . She looked around and got me the only one available . Thank you for your kindness and excellent service with a smile 😊

Didn't get our large order right. Missing two bread buns, and all the nugget sauces. The good part was that we got mostly drumsticks and Maryland pieces! Oh well, McDonald's do the same mistakes too. Service was super fast through drive thorough though.

Chicken served to us had lots of oil and also not crispy at all.. Place smells bad too. Even very few dining-in during covid restrictions, tables were not cleaned after previous customers used those.. We ended up cleaning them ourself as we concerned about our own safety.

Friendly staff, good food, and i always seem to find parking. Indoor eating areas are clean unlike some other fast food joints around canberra.

I have had negative experiences with this KFC store in the past (ignored requests and long waiting times) but I was in the area, so I decided to give it another chance and try it out. I went inside the store and was served rather promptly. The service is as expected, quick and efficient. I ordered a Family Feast (with no wings) and this time it came with no wings (unlike the last time I ordered here). It did not take very long either. The table was cleaned right before I sat down (I saw the staff member cleaning it with my eyes). So no issues there. But YMMV of course. The chicken was nicely fried and it did not taste old. The chips were maybe a little less crunchy than they should have been but it was still acceptable. The Coleslaw and Gravy were also as expected. Though the parking signs there are a little non-existent and should be better marked. If you do not come here often, it is confusing. The toilets were okay. They were less dirty than I thought they would be. I think this store depends on the staff members which are rostered on, as my varied experiences with this KFC seem to suggest. Overall, this experience was better than the last time.

It may not mean much amongst the over 550 reviews of this KFC. Not that their chicken, though very nice, is the best amongst the KFC's in Canberra (Woden has a better recipe, last time I was there in late 2019), the staff here work very hard, are really nice and when there are shortcomings, e.g. frozen Pepsi machine not working or lack of chicken, they, without any hesitation, will make up for their deficiencies more than adequately. For example, if the frozen Pepsi machine is not working, they would offer a can of Pepsi, if there is a lack of Wicked Wings, they would offer original recipe chicken instead. This is very rare to see in any restaurant these days, let alone a fast food joint, and will continue to support them.

This trip to KFC was the best yet! I have been disappointed before so was hesitant. Food in the past was stale. However this time was crisp and fresh. Drive through Service was old school with a sense of humour. Have recommended to friends since.

Staff were really helpful getting the meal I wanted, a 3 piece feed with salad option. They earn out of onion but we're able to substitute and that was fine. Place is clean and the service is quick. The only problem was the lack of recycle option in rubbish (I'm sure other KFC have this) cans going in general waste is just wrong.

I love KFC, but these guys unfortunately aren't great at getting orders right. There is a young Polynesian girl there especially who regularly gets orders mixed up. Food when correct is generally very nice. However they also always seem to be out of sweet and sour sauce. Need to increase their order quantity.

So my photo of that tiny wicked wing was somehow deleted. The overall food quality is satisfactory as a usual KFC. Except sometimes their wicked wings tastes like original recipe and it's so this Monday, 21/10/2019, afternoon about 2pm. New staff needs to know hospitality. Here is a beggar wandering around in the evening, targeting colored customers. The beggar is bald on top, with glasses, carrying a few(3-4) plastic bags. This is the worse part.

Fast, efficient and tasty. I was surprised to see so many negative reviews. Maybe I got lucky or maybe they are trying hard to improve... Either way, I went through drive-thru and it was quick and easy. My order was accurate, hot and tasted good.

The Dickson KFC store is the best KFC in canberra in my opinion. I always get more salt on my chips there more than any other KFC in canberra. The food is always well cooked; something that's quite important when running a chicken restaurant. Best KFC wicked wings in Canberra too. Friendly staff and a good place to bring the kids, especially during the summer holidays (Its nice and cool in store). Good, clean restrooms with a separate disability restroom too. Always plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and heaps of parking available.
