Burger Road is definitely one of the best burger places in the city. The inventively titled menu features a variety of delicious delights for both savoury & desert lovers. The Kit-Kat Waffles are definitely my personal favourite, and the thick shakes are not to be missed either.

I ordered the Burger Rd Special, and was thoroughly impressed with the quality. Lovely, fresh ingredients, bursting in flavour. Their menu is unique, unlike the clichéd American burger joints that have crowded the market. I can't wait to return!

I got burgers from Burger road Fitzroy 4 times now it’s so good everytime. I did find that the chips are not that great the next day but pretty good when fresh.

On a random stroll around Johnston St, really hungry and craving a burger we found this place. Just learnt now as I googled it it's a franchise and there are others around Melbourne. If you have one nearby, do go. Burgers were spot on, perfectly cooked. Fried chicken one was super crunchy and well seasoned, beef and bacon one would melt in your mouth on every bite. One of the best things for me was their Mac and cheese croquettes, will order more of those next time instead of the loaded fries because they were incredibly good!

I ordered 2 burgers on 14/07. One was "I'm too corny (Veggie)" & other one was Fire Extinguisher. It was so yummy and delicious!. I can't imagine that a veggie burger can be so delicious. I ordered for the first time but the taste was so impressive that I'll surely re-order it. Thanks!

Our burger adventure continues....Johnston street Fitzroy..quite day..place has chicken and waffles too...burgers two of different...rated a 3 maybe close to 3 half..between ok and ok...great inside...very..um..fitzroy..but creative. Food little oily..but reminded me of a layout of a fish and chip burger..just minus the flavour..didn't have any..thanks lovely service from the only person whom cooked and served..otherwise..just ok..

Love love love this place! We visited Burger Road Fitzroy yesterday afternoon and we were welcomed by polite and attentive customer service who even went out of their way to entertain our toddler when she got a little fussy. The food was delish, my partner and I both ordered burgers which were cooked perfectly and were nice and juicy. We also ordered the loaded chook fries and a serving of wings, we were full! We are located in the northern suburbs of Melbourne but will definitely be going out of our way to visit again.

The best burger ive had in a while. Not only was the customer service also really amazing, but when they made a mistake and forgot my drink, chef offered us free onion rings on top of some fries. The reviews for this place weren't lying. These guys know their burgers and the happy staff show its a good business. Will be coming back for that sweet beef.

The staff are really welcoming and friendly too. If you haven't been to this place, it's worth finding!

By far the BEST burger and chicken wings in the history of my life. I also got myself a thickshake and it was outstanding, a real thickshake. The burger came out looking exactly how it was described in the picture posted in the menu. The prices are very reasonable for a surreal quality and taste experience they offer, actual value for money. There was quality in very bite. In addition to this, the staff are very friendly, the ambience is great and the joint is great for a casual hang out with friends or family. In short, a happy place with great food 😀 So happy I found it, will definitely be going back all the time.

I've only had one burger from BURGER ROAD so far, they call it the fire extinguisher haha it was pretty darn good! I like hot stuff but personally I didn't find this hot at all but it was really tasty and the textures were on point, crispy southern style chicken, I believe it was thigh as it was delicious! The cheese sauce was a really nice touch! I've often fantasised about that stuff but could never find it... I am keen to try more of the menu so I can hopefully give BURGER ROAD a much deserved fifth star ⭐

Best burgers ever, I will definitely be back! Reccomend trying the Sheriff's Burger for a mouthful of flavour! Also the Strawberry thickshake is the best I've had to date, and is divine especially on a hot day! Staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is really relaxing and calm. Perfect place for a relaxed lunch or dinner with someone special!

Oh wow what an incredible experience! I was a bit of a tricky customer and ordered a massively modified burger, extras as well as one of their famed freak shakes! Not only does the food look out of this world but it delivers on every level with flavour! The smoky porky burger had juicy pork and crisp slaw on a soft beetroot bun, the onion rings were crisp and not too greasy! The Mac and cheese bites were flavoursome and gooey in the middle! And what can I say about that mountainous shake! Great sweet and salty flavour with freshly made to order waffle and donut on top! Plus the team were so very accommodating, kind and friendly. Would highly recommend to anyone! Thank you so much team!

Absolutely.love the burgers, they re so different from other burger joints in that their recipes are fantastic. They have a great selection to choose from. I am a meat lover but even their vegetarian /vegan burgers are to die for. Highly recommend if you love a burger and like it rustic and flavorful.

We visited Melboure before the borders were closed and went to catchup with friends at this burger joint. Oh there burgers are amazing! We were there for few hours, went for a walk and had Round2 of burgers and snacks. Their freak shakes and waffles are too good. I dont rememeber when was the last time we ate this much. Amazing, best burger I've had in Melbourne, my go-to is the mooyalicious. The hennifer lopez is also a really good chicken burger. Discovered this place last week and had it at least 4 times since then. What more can I say.

Best burgers, chips and service!! We discovered burger road this evening through a flyer in our letter box, telling us about their good food and friendly, local delivery driver. Wanting to support local we ordered direct via their website 2x burgers with the lot and chips - which was delivered in a flash by the same friendly driver we had read about! Finally one good burger place, I don't usually do the reviews but a friend of mine took me for lunch at Burger Road in Fitzroy..must say one of the best burgers I have ever had . Sheriff's burger is a must try .

I felt like a burger for lunch, so I got in the car and punched in 'burger' and this place came up. I ended up ordering the Sheriff's Burger and it was delicious! I'll get it again next time, but add some lettuce to reverse the iso weight gain 😂 The fries were great and were eaten on the 10 minute drive home. Can't wait to go back again

We have been eating Burger Road burgers for a while now- they are delicious and I’m a difficult diner and my gluten and dairy free burger is hands down the best I’ve ever had! I order from my local store in Plenty but accidentally ordered from Fitzroy over the weekend... the team at Plenty couldn’t help me when I turned up and my burger wasn’t there but I rang the owner at Fitzroy- Nidhi and asked if we made the 30 minute trip to Fitzroy, could she please remake the burgers for us so they’d be fresh. Not only did she re-make the BEST burgers for my husband and I, she did it at no charge. Nidhi was an absolute delight to meet and she runs a wonderful restaurant. She’s opening a new one in Werribee in 2021 and we will go for a drive there too- for the great burgers but also for the even greater service! Nidhi, thank you again for looking after us- you made our night and we’ll come back to say hi! In the meantime keep smiling and you deserve all the success you’re enjoying- you’re a star! Had one of the vegan burgers and it was absolutely delicious! They got our order wrong and gave us sweet potato fries instead of onion rings, but were super apologetic and promptly gave us our onion rings - we got to keep the fries! My friend got a milkshake and loved it. Would love to see more vegan options, especially with the shakes!

5 of us went in to our local store on Johnston St yesterday. We ordered a few things and picked from each other's meals. Not only was it all perfectly cooked, it was so aesthetically pleasing too. The staff were so lovely, checked on us a few times to see if we were happy with our meals. We eat here at least once a week. We are from California & when we moved here 15 years ago, the burgers were unedible, often containing filler. Burger Road is better than we can make with many varieties of burger & the best onion rings ever. We usually order from Uber Eats & they always write us a nice note. We love this place!!!!
