It’s fair to say on the surface I was pretty excited but the end result was pretty underwhelming. When you look at the photos on the board and then have a look at the photos of attached to clear case of nothing looks like it really looks. I mean seriously that little loan Mossley piece of tomato on a broken bit of iceberg lettuce and a scrap of onion and what looks like a broiled bit of meat it really isn’t much chop, even though you look at the board and all the burgers look juicy and delicious. One upside of the thick shakes all the milkshakes they’re very good flavour profile and taste delicious and a really nice that’s a big win and the funky fries have nice seasoning on them they’re delicious too. The way the hamburger was put together is not by mistake these people know how many pieces of lettuce and tomato you’re allowed to put on a burger and clearly they’ve been told to put very little on them so I put the blame on the company itself.

We dined outside so we could have our dog with us. Ordered at the counter then the food was delivered to our table. Very friendly and helpful staff. Always enjoy the free drink refills. Toilets were clean and acceptable.

Well I have been looking forward to visiting Carl's Jr. Finally got chance today. Food looks great and could not wait to order, unfortunately, I did. Stood at counter for about 10 mins (only customer in store), being ignored by the two staff members filling sauce containers. So took some photos etc. Finally someone noticed me. I ordered a Western bacon burger and a chipotle chicken burger. The place is very clean. Ambiance is nice seating comfortable. The western burger was very tasty, would order again, as was the chicken burger. Prices are reasonable. UPDATE: Went back today to try other menu items. Store was busier today, drive thru was chockers. They had a crew trainer on duty today. There were 6 or so customers in store. I decided to try the chicken BLT and Western Angus burger, with side order of chips and star nuggets. Burgers were both tasty and well cooked and presented. The same could not be said for the chips. Very disappointing. The potato looked like it had not been peeled, with strange material on the chips, (see photos), no salt, the chips were limp, really limp, like yesterday's reheated. Very unappetizing. But the burgers were great. I was somewhat disappointed to see front of house staff not wearing masks properly, with their noses exposef.

Not bad. Good service and tidy joint. thing that needs improvement is the fries, as there’s tough competition out there. They’re soggy when compared to Maccas and the likes. Today was the first time i had visited Carl's Jr. I really enjoyed the burger and found it to be extremely filling, but it was definitely just a little bit bland and could've used some more seasoning. Additionally i founds the fries and onion rings to be pretty good, but unfortunately there was almost no salt or any other kind of seasoning to be found, which ruined the experience a little bit as it made everything a little too bland. All in all though, this place is definitely better than a Mcdonalds, but there needs to be a bit more attention to detail when it comes to quality control.

Just went through the drive through, had never seen or tried Carl's before. Thought it was basically a MacDonald copy. Burger tasted very similar. I'm not saying that as a criticism or compliment just an opinion. I also didn't have time to really study the menus a there were cars behind me. Edit, Also should add the young lady behind the counter was very friendly and I thought the service was outstanding. I wasn't wowed but will defiantly try again when I can go in and sit down

Went through drive thru, service was a little slow. Staff were very apologetic which was nice. I enjoyed the burger that I had, however for the name thick burger it was not. Burgers were hot, tasty, not dry at all. Onion rings were crunchy and hot. However, they were out of chips! That's not a good thing for a burger joint. Overall I liked it a lot, I'd go back! Update: drive thru is sooooooo slow!

Similar to Carl's Jr USA. This new store is clean and modern. With 27 tables and a bench seat there is lots of room to dine. Large burger menu to choose from including one vegetarian burger. Free drink refills. Wheelchair friendly store, toilets and carparking. Bathroom facilities available. Burger, chips and drink meals available from $9.95. The fuel lane Drive thru is open 24h every day with a 2.7m height restriction. Store is open 6am till 10pm every day. And breakfast is served 6am till 10:30am every day. The burgers are made fresh to order so don't expect to walk away from the counter with your meal straight after ordering.

I had a Portobello mushroom Angus Burger which was ok. The staff were friendly and service was quick. The fries were nice enough but could do with a bit more salt. For what you get the price is high. I was expecting a Portobello cup but what you get is a mushroom sauce which might have been grilled at some point. Meat is very meaty.

I went to CJs yesterday and as an American, I was really excited! I had the chicken strips, Western bacon cheeseburger and fries. The fries and chicken strips were delicious, fresh and hot. However, the cheeseburger was disgusting. It was cold and had clearly been sitting out for quite awhile. My colleague had the same order except with criss cut fries. Her cheeseburger and fries were also both really cold and not good. So disappointing. 😔 Also, when we entered the restaurant there were at least 10 staff just standing around chatting right next to each other, not social distancing at all. I didn't mind having my temperature taken, but to then see staff like that didn't set a good impression. Paying $22 for a partially cold meal is unacceptable.

Tried Carls Jr. for the first time in Akihabara Japan so I was very excited when I heard the announcement its coming to Victoria. Went to the opening day on the 26/08/2018 in Knox and was sorely disappointed. A couple of years later, thought I'd give Carls Jr. another shot, but this time in Cranbourne. So happy I did! Amazing taste, beautifully crafted burgers (get the classic Angus double) and their waffle fries - you won't regret it. They also had the food ready pretty much by the time we filled up our drinks and sat down at a table! Oh and their milkshakes? Well the secret to a good milkshake is how much ice-cream you use - typically the more you use, the richer the flavour. You know what their milkshakes are called? ICE-CREAM shakes. I'll leave it up to you to put two and two together. Staff are also very friendly and facilities are spotless.

Having lived in the US for a while I was super excited to see Carl Jr's finally open up here. Made my way to the store this afternoon with high hopes but they were soon to be dashed. Natural cut fries were good. ( Hot, fresh cooked, no skin on them however) but burgers were disappointing. The classic California double cheeseburger looked good. Initial bite was also good with a tasty sauce and we'll cooked onions. Unfortunately the following bites didn't follow through as the burger tasted very fatty. Not sure if the meat wasn't cooked long enough or at high enough heat but the taste of fat was unpleasant. The coating of concealing oil/fat in my mouth afterwards was worse. Partner experienced the same with his Angus burger :( Very sad as I very much wanted to enjoy this.

Quite impressive! I'd been waiting for the initial buzz to die down so I could get an accurate experience and ended up being surprised by how good it was. Food was great, plenty of variety and quite comparable Hungry Jacks but actually decent. I had their standard cheeseburger, some onion rings and chicken tenders which were all solid. Super clean and bright, with a nice looking interior. A little pricey for fast food, but the amount of unique options to choose from, the refillable drinks and the speedy service make it worth the cost. Great for families, as they were able to accomodate our walk-in party of 14 with ease. Children and adults were both stuffed by the end of their meals, and we greatly appreciated the charging facilities for our various electronics.

First time visitor today. I had heard they were quality made burgers so finally tried it and omg ill never go to maccas again. The service was excellent. The burgers were decent sized and very fulling. Didnt give my family and i the sluggish feeling maccas or hungry jacks does. 10/10 will be going back again

It tastes similar to hungry jacks but much more pricey. The fries were very dry, waited 30 minutes to order and the staff seemed very lost. Didn’t bother me as much as they did look like new trainees however, the ice cream had melted and luckily it was wrapped otherwise it would have spilled. I had ordered coke but it tasted very watery almost like a sparkly water with a hint of coke. Will gladly return as it was delicious but not any time soon.

Carl's Freaking Jr. Hells yeah! Atmosphere inside the store was fantastic, with a nice fresh fit out and little touches like USB charging points and free drink refills. The food was great and filling, the burgers are good eating. But it was the level of service that separated our experience this evening from the pack. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and we're particularly good with our (5) kids. We felt at ease and welcome dining in which is not always the case with so many kids. First up, let me say, I thought the burger was AMAZING. Tasted similar to Hungry Jacks patties, but much fresher tasting. The fries were nothing special, but since the burger was quite big (I accidentally ordered a double patty burger) I didn't even need the fries... I actually struggled to finish the burger as it was. The staff were very friendly and helpful even though it was CRAZY BUSY! I will definitely return, keen to try the onion rings next time :)

So omg this place is so amazing. The bourbon sauce is literally to die for and the Hawaiian double burger is literally heaven (I swap out the beef to breaded chicken because I love chicken) I love the fact they have free refills because that makes it sooo worth the great price. 10/10 do recommend.

Negatives include: the floor being slippery - both I and my friend wearing completely different shoe types noticed this. It was quiet, maybe 2 other tables and we waited over 10 minutes for our food, not too bad but I'd hate to see it when it's busy. There's also no explanation on the menu board as to whats even in the burgers aside from the meat. The burgers were really small and tasted like a hungry jacks knock off. My lettuce was all of those thicker centre parts, not the actual leaves, and my friends tomato was a thick end piece with the brown part where the stem used to be. Overall, average place, won't be back

Had Carl’s Jr. in U.S.A and was pretty shocked to see they’re opening one here in Cranbourne. The burgers are like McDonald but more delicious and the patty is thicker too and the chips were way better. Best part drinks are free to refill just like hungry jacks. But problem is some burger with meals is abit more expensive but still it’s very filling so it’s pretty worth it. Would recommend this if anyone wants to try American style.

Ordered a chocolate, strawberry and vanilla thickshake and also large fries (freshly cooked and seasoned, better then maccas) Their shakes are not out of a soft serve machine so perfect if you're pregnant. Friendly customer service, reasonably priced. Definitely recommend you try it out!

Carl's Jr have amazing burgers, I've tried a couple of different types, not a fan of some of them but the ones that I do like are amazing. My favourite is the Portobello mushroom thickburger, full of flavour, very filling and the mushroom gravy/sauce is simply amazing. Their breakfast menu is also wonderful, freshly made to order every time that I've been and worth the wait for the delicious eggs scrambled and folded neatly before putting in the burger. Along with the hash brown bites, heavenly.

I had the California double combo with the crisscuts, which was approx. $18. This is quite pricy for what you are getting. The burger was very small and had big chunks of lettuce just thrown on it. Also, the taste just isn't anywhere close to that of Hungry Jacks, McDonalds, Grilled, Big Boys BBQ or any other burger joint I've been to. It tasted like something I would make at home when feeling lazy. I then grabbed the Chicken BBQ burger (just the burger, not the combo) to see if this would be any better. The burger is the same size of a cheese burger at a whopping $6. The contents was 1 very small piece of chicken with 1 piece of salad, 1 tomato and BBQ sauce. It tasted very bitter due to the type of BBQ sauce used and the chicken tasted fairly plain. Overall, not much flavour. The crisscuts are very nice and I tried some of my friends' chilli fries and those tasted nice. I will come back to try couple more burgers from their menu, as I find their variety interesting. But it's not a burger place I see myself coming to when craving a burger. I think once the novelty wears off people will just go back to their usual places.

I've been waiting a long time for Carl's Jr to come to Australia. I tried it for the first time back in 2006 when I went to the US with my family and every time I've been to a country where there is Carl's Jr or Hardees I make a point of seeking it out. I am so glad that it's finally here and I can tell you that in terms of fast food, this is the best quality chain on the market in Australia. The burgers are more on par with a gourmet burger shop than say Hungry Jack's or Maccas.

If you want a half decent fast food burger from a drive thru then any of the Thickburgers has to be your choice.. the normal burgers just taste like Hungry Jacks.. the loaded fries are pretty good too... but its expensive.. still will come back every now and then to have a Thickburger..

Nice place to eat, the double western burger we had was kinda small for a "double" same with the chicken BLT, but the jalapeno burger was perfect, chips were really nice too, most of all for me which is a big part of my experience there, the staff were spot on with cleaning and regularly cleaning as well, I'm giving 5 stars just on the level of cleanliness alone defenatly going back, and I'll even go to another location to see if it's just as good 😁

Always great food and friendly staff. I recommend the guacamole bacon burger or the western bbq burger. The Santa fe sauce is really delicious too. It's a nice change to go to a fast food restaurant where the food is brought to your table and you don't have to mill around waiting for it to be cooked and then awkwardly carry your hoard to a table. The air conditioning was also set to a comfortable temperature. The only disadvantage of the cranbourne location is not enough parking (maybe ten spots available), be prepared to park down the road an walk up if you come at a peak time.

The Angus beef patties are amazing. I got the Guac Bacon + Jalapeños with meal changed to crisscut fries. Will be doing same again. Wife loved the Western Bacon Crisscut fries.

After getting Drive through service order stuffed up, Team Member Chenice went above and beyond to rectify the mistake. Many places have let customer service fall by the wayside. Chenice did a stellar job of providing fantastic customer service and is indeed a great asset to your business. A lot of people could learn from the example set here.
