Went on a Tuesday night and ate outside in the Beer Garden. The burger was very good quality if not slightly dry. Burgers come with ample chips when eating in and they chips were perfect amount of crispy. Also had a Ferrero Shake which was excellent. Staff were also super friendly. Will go back

We have eaten here a number of times and the service and menu gets better and better. We even got takeaway during the lockdowns when we were allowed to travel more than 5 km. Today was such a pleasure to dine and be served by Lachlan. What a super star, his service was on point and information he didn't know he was quick to find out. I watched his other interactions with other customers and he was genuine and clearly loved his job. If he ever wanted a job I wouldn't hesitate to employ him. You guys are super lucky to have such a switched on young gentleman on your team.

I got the Rosie burger and the sweet potato fries. Fast service. Large meal and really yummy. Only negative they did not have sour cream dipping sauce, but no biggie swapped to mayo.

Great burgers, little bit of a wait between ordering and food coming out, but it's definitely worth it. Added jalapenos to my burger and they were generous with adding 🙌💕 thanks team for the nice burgers!

Not terrible food but over priced, particularly when eating in. There is a very steep addition for fine in. The chips were good but the meat patty seems to have a lot of filler and has a texture more like sausage than hamburger. My son did say the chicken burger was quite good

Our first visit was a good one. Very friendly staff, tasty food, good selection. The staff were a bit slow with service (hence four stars) but they knew it and owned it and were lovely about it and that's pretty spectacular in itself. We'll be back.

Flametree Burgers Bayswater is a good place to eat if you have a group. Their service is a bit slow with taking orders and coming back to see if we want any drinks etc. I had to go in and get my own menus serviettes and cutlery.

It really depends on what you like... I had a burger with bacon jam, American cheese and bbq sauce with some onion. This is usually my go-to when it comes to burgers. It was quite nice on first bite, however I found that it did not maintain flavour throughout. I tried the patty on its own but it did not have much flavour. Personally I like a burger when the meat patty itself has flavouring. I also found the bun to be a bit too bread-y for my liking. Chips were a bit on the oily side but tasty. I liked that the burger came with chips however I don’t normally spend $20 on a burger, so I found it to be a bit pricy. The place itself has a cool interior - the decorations are contemporary and there’s a nice beer garden/outdoor seating area at the back. Service is okay.

The only thing I can say? Welcome to the neighbourhood. Location Having recently opened, this place is a literal gem that is waiting to be discovered in Bayswater. The recent redevelopment of the train station has brought a serious influx of good quality food options in the neighbourhood. Whether you’re looking for artisnal coffee or the best Char Keow Teow on this side of town, you don’t need to leave this amazing suburb. I digress. The food…. (PS – this place is so new, that I added their Google Maps location - you can thank me later). Food So given that I’m always keen to try everything I can at one time, I chose the colonel. This encompasses their panko chicken, the beef and succulent pork. Now. This giant burger of deliciousness is not easy to eat. So I had to deconstruct it to conshme it individually. And my fave order has to be…the pork, chicken and finally followed by the beef. The pork belly slices were so succulent and delicious, I wish I had the burger on its own. I was pleasantly surprised by the panko chicken – crumbed perfectly, the internal deliciousness was too much. It retained it’s moisture and was flavoursome – something completely unexpected. Their beef however was dry on the inside and really lacked the pizazz of the others. The chips were a delight on it’s own and something to fill yourself up when you aren’t hungry enough for a burger. TDT: 1.75/2.0 Cost And the cost, look it was dear. But the way I saw it….this was 3 burgers plus chips and in my opinion it was great. TDT: .75/1.0 Ambiance The venue was nice and having a burger bar in the burbs is awesome. TDT: 1.0/1.0 Service The service was top notch and I was too busy laughing to complete my order properly. Kudos guys – keep up that customer service. TDT: 1.0/1.0 TDT:4.5/5.0 This is going to be a rocking place in Summer and a nice getaway in the winter. All I can say, is welcome to the neighbourhood!

Having been a regular patron of Flame Trees since they first opened, I have been continually impressed with the quality of the food, but the quality of the staff. Never have I been made to feel unwelcome, quite the opposite, but whenever there was the very rare issue with my order (because the staff are human not robots and will make the rare mistake), they have bent over backwards to make me feel valued as a customer and an individual, and that is a standard I rarely see in the food industry these days. They are always happy to indulge my indecisions and cheerfully suggest new thing to try, but in a manner that does not feel like they are 'simply trying to foist a product' on me.

I'm a bayswater local and I'd like to see this place do very well. As it's new to the area I do feel it needs some tweeks to make me go back. Yomg in Glen Waverley and fat jaks in St Kilda have a winning formula. IMO a different bread bun should be used perhaps a softer sweeter brioche bun or even a choice. The chips need a revamp as it wasnt as crispy and crunchy that you would like in fries maybe just the supply of fries used and was very disproportionate. It definitely needs some work in order compete with Melbournes various burger establishments. Overall not a bad place but will be back to see how this local establishment develops.

Great burger. Good service. They need to improve the way they split their bills though to make it easier for group bookings. We had to add up our own then tell the staff the amount we wanted to pay off the bill rather than the items. There must be an easier system. Apart from that I would recommend.

Visited this restaurant 04JUL2021 for lunch. An instant selling point was the service. The waitress was helpful with seating, food selection, and other odd queries. The burgers here are excellent. The patties are grilled to taste (e.g. rare, medium, and well done). Fries are thick cut and crispy. There's also a good selection of milkshakes. Highly recommended.

Nice little spot in the burbs for a burger, decent selection. But the fryer was too cold so everything fried was heavy and lacking that crunch and flavour. Also on a quiet night it still took ages to get service I'll try again and update accordingly because I feel there's potential and might have been a bad night.

EDIT: Third time the bun was stale Been here twice, both beef and chicken burgers are top tier in Melbourne (love my burgers and would be hard to find a burger joint that I haven't been to) the buns were uncooked though which isn't the norm, although wasn't too distracting. Mega shakes are pricy but worth it. Would highly recommend!

Service was fine and polite enough, but I think the wait time was considerable even though it wasn't that much of a busy afternoon, which surprised me. The shakes are absolutely amazing (Snickers is our favourite). The cheesecake cups are really nice. Burgers are great. Onion rings as good as they get. The popcorn chicken is generally to die for, although recently it turned out a bit dry and salty. We've been coming here for a year, and will keep coming back!

Every burger/sides I’ve tried has been delicious. On point and always fresh. We ordered there again tonight because of my pregnancy cravings and i thought I’d try a new burger (Find some friends burger?) and it did not disappoint! Lots of flavour and packed without being messy. The staff are always attentive even when I’m annoying and ask to make sure to cook my food well done. Lol. You have got to try the Rosie burger! What I normally get. The chips are perfectly seasoned, it’s just yum!! My son LOVES the ft Panko crumbed chicken strips (usually cannot get this toddler to eat anything!) he always loves their chicken.

Arrived late for lunch/afternoon snack at around 3:00PM. This nice lady (Who I assumed was The Manager) made us feel welcomed, as my mum and I sat down at a table and looked at their menu. I love the fact that they name their food items after classic songs by Australian artists. From Australian Musical Artists such as AC/DC, Midnight Oil, INXS Stevie Wright, and Men at Work, just to name a few. I ordered a Burger called the 'Down Under' Burger (named after the classic song 'Down Under' by Men at Work). I as well, ordered a small serving of fries, and a Cane Sugar Cola. This came to a total of around $25. My mum ordered a Small Long Black, but she received a Small Small Black instead. I assume that was just a communication error. She seemed to enjoy her coffee nevertheless. Because their wasn't a lot of people in the Burger Bar at the time, I got my meal in quick succession. The Burger was really good! The bun was soft, the beef was cooked medium, and it was so juicy! The American Cheese gave a nice creaminess, and saltiness to the Burger. The Bacon Jam was salty/sweet, and it brought a nice tang to the Burger. The Smoky BBQ Sauce was smoky (as it says), but it wasn't as noticeable, taste wise, on the Burger, but that is just a small criticism. Overall the Burger was very nice! The fries were soft on the inside, with potato goodness, and crunchy on the outside. But the fries didn't bring enough to the table, in the seasoning side of things. I couldn't taste much/if any seasoning at all on the fries. I dipped the fries in the complimentary Heinz Tomato Sauce. The sauce brought a bit more flavour to the fries. The fries tasted okay by themselves, but much better with the sauce. They just needed more seasoning. I had a nice Chocolate Ice-cream Sandwich for dessert, from their Ice-Cream Sandwich Range in their small freezer, which cost $5. It was creamy, and the cake base was soft and crumbly. The Cola I had for a drink was nice and fizzy, and it was a nice change to the everyday Coca-Cola. Overall the meal was good (especially because I was hungry). It's just the fries needed to be seasoned a bit more for my liking. 8/10! I would recommend this place to anyone who is keen for a feed, or who wants just a quiet one, with a nice array of drinks from their Bar. Will be back soon!

The staff are always lovely and happy to be there, I never wait long for food, and when I get home it’s still fresh as ever. Those crispy chips are also to die for. We come here often for great burgers, chips and beer. If you haven't been here before I highly recommend you go and check it out as soon as you can! They also have a great selection of kraft beers, stone and wood being a big favourite of everyone who joins. Great burgers but they don't come with chips so it feels a bit expensive when you need to allow that extra $5 for a small side of chips. We were seated at the very front which is all concrete so we were unable to have conversations across the table due to the noise and sound just echoing in the space. Also great bottled beer selection but there were issues with the beer on tap which was a little disappointing. I have been wanting to go here for a while but the experience this time just felt a little flat, hopefully we can try again and have a better experience.

These ones were good though. The only reason they get a 4 star instead of 5 is because they didn't play the song Flame Trees. This should be played on the hour every hour.

Been to Flame Trees three times. I like that they try to support local business. Big plus. Ordered beef each time as I hate chicken burgers with coleslaw. Coleslaw is a cheap filler that is in vogue for some reason. Disappointing, as YOMG offer an excellent chicken burger that has fillings other than bloody Coleslaw. The beef is always cooked magnificently well and the fillings are always great. Loaded fries are very tasty, but also over-priced - not much cheaper than the burgers really. The staff vibe...meh. My last visit, I sort of felt like that wanted me to place my order and once served, get out. Just how I felt. I will still return though as all-round, it's a good burger joint that knows how to do a mean beef-burger. Just wish they'd improve their kentucky-style chicken burger options, as Coleslaw as the only option is rubbish.

Great modern vibe. We had the “Find Some Friends” signature burger. I was impressed, if you’ve been to OnIt before, it’s reminiscent of the ‘OnIt’ or ‘Nod’ burger. Great bun, not dense or too big. The meat tasted clean and fresh. The ratio of the burger was really nice. Not too much of any one thing. Awesome cheese to supplement the sauces too. The mustard and signature sauce pulls it all together. Good balanced burger. From someone who regularly visits most burger places in the east... Top bun, OnIt, Mums Kitchen, Bom Gusto, Dandenong Pavillon... this place is super competitive with them. I’m happy this strip of shops finally has something competitive. Nice chips and suuuuper tasty shakes! Reasonably priced too. If you’re a fan of local beers the list of east coast Aussie brews is huge. Thanks guys!

Service - Pretty crappy, wrong orders all around our table, late to come, we all ordered one by one and everyone got their food at different times. Venue - Yeah ok, nothing special beer garden isn't a beer garden just more outdoor seating. Bit of competition around so i suggest they make it stand out from the crowd as i'm not rushing back. Rating a 3 as i'm hoping it'll pick the game up, will return in 6months for round2!
