Oh my! I love Grill’d! A friend of mine took me here and I ended up obsessed with it. I got the Vegan burger and the patty was SO tasty, not a typical one made of veggies, it had a very nice texture. They also give you “tokens” per meal to donate to your favourite cause.

Real score 3.2 out of 5. Meh. It’s OK but I wouldn’t rave. Service was quick and that’s blessing when you’re pressed for time. It was buzzing here at lunchtime. I went for a fruity shiraz with the BBQ brisket with low carb superbun. The low carb superbun is a forlorn thing. I should have been prepared for it. It’s flat and featureless with little flavour. I wish I’d risked the carbs on a bun. The burger had a lovely deep smoky flavour. I was enjoying it until I hit fatty seam that was rather chewy. That took up a few minutes. Then, I realised that the whole thing was a bit lukewarm. I thought of complaining but that’s rarely my style. I then started to worry about the cold breeze coming in from the street and the overall volume of noise in what are pretty prosaic and underwhelming premises. Add to that that I found the service here transactional at best. I was unmoved by the experience. Conclusion: there are much better options on this iconic Melbourne Street.

Great dine-in experience (service, food) when we went in the past. However, recently when we ordered via Deliveroo (twice), we've waited for a long time both times, after which the orders were cancelled. We contacted Deliveroo whom advised that the store was not open. So, just a recommendation to please not present for online purchase if store is closed, to avoid having people wait a long time just to have their order cancelled. Thank you :)

Tonight I had dinner here and it was superb. I ordered the Mustard & Pickled burger on a traditional bun with a side of sweet potato wedges with tomato relish dipping sauce and peach flavoured iced tea. It was quite satisfying. If you're looking for a good meal that won't fill you up completely this is a good place to go when you're on the way somewhere.

Thus has to be the most "Melbourne" burger experience, it's amazing to chow down on your burger sitting on a rustic alley with filament lamps zigzagging the place. Really cool atmosphere!! The staff is really friendly too. Really decent burgers for a decent price. They've got a nice variety of craft beer as well.

Adequate but there are better places locally. I do like grill'd, their avo fries and sweet potato fries are great, I find their burgers a bit of a let down to be honest. As an example I got the hot bird, which is a spicy chicken burger, and the amount of burger water that poured out of it when I picked it up was a bit crazy. All in all a fine place but there are better options nearby

It's very good, and on very convenient place in Melbourne, Staff are friendly, and welcome, my choose was few times for burger meals, So you will enjoy as well, make sure you choose right sauces when you order, As I found girls serving methods are different and they sometimes become cash register mechines. Funky burger jointed located in the heart of Melbourne on a main street full of resteraunts. Small laided out resteraunt with some outdoor seating. Felt strange that we had some seat us to our table and give is menus but then asked us to get up and make our order at the till, which seemed kinda pointless to be honest. The food we got though was very tasty. They also had a great selection of drinks and beers to pick from. I could recommend this place to someone looking for a casual meal while in the city.

If there's one thing I always love about Grill'd it is the level of consistency in a quality product. I've never had a bad burger at Grill'd from the delicious Bird'n'Brie to the Mighty Melbourne, the burgers taste fresh and flavoursome and they can always be accompanied by the rosemary chips with sweet chilli dip. The store is quite small, but surprisingly you can often get a seat there so long as it isn't on a Friday.
