Finished a movie on a Saturday night and wanted to grab a bite and tried this for the first time. Nice first time experience, delicious burgers and good service for a late night snack. I got the Respect the Classic burger combo and was overall satisfied. The burger might have been slightly over cooked, but the core ingredients were there, nice big slices of pickles, beef patty was well portioned. All up it cost $20 which is on the expensive side of things, but to be expected for late service.

My first time trying a burger here I must say it was delicious, I tried the respect the classic burger and chose to have it takeaway it was wrapped in foil which kept burger hot when I got home the burger is a large size and there's a 1.2% surcharge when paying by card. Will come back again.

Great little burger shop. Really well priced for the portions you get at $25 for a big chicken burger, onion rings and a beer. It was all perfectly cooked although the spicy chicken burger could be a bit hotter, more mild than spicy. You'd really be hard pressed finding a better deal on Chapel for this style of food. Walked away full and satisfied and will definitely revisit.

Honestly one of the most delicious burgers available. Truman is the owner and he is such a legend. He will make you feel at home. I've been back here many times since my first experience. Get the Gungnam style burger. A bit of an acquired taste. But it's amazing. If you want a safe option go for the "minister chicken"

First time visitor to Kung Fu. Little burger place on Chapel St. 4 of us visited this place. 3 got the 1st burger meal combo and the other chicken burger. 2 of us added extras to our need burger. We got egg, beetroot and bacon. So big couldn't get it in our mouths. The guys were extremely accommodating with our requests and requirements. Chips were a bit on the salty side, but all food eaten. Cost of just over $80. They have a toilet which is always great when one is in busy shopping prevent with hot running water to wash hands before eating.

Came for a regular burger but decided to indulge on the Soft Shell Crab burger with Sweet Potato Fries. Definitely didn't disappoint, burger was delicious and rich and fries were good texture and the right amount of salt. Would recommend if you're after something different in a burger.

Not quite sure if it's the Kung-Fu sauce or mayo but we found they made the burgers too sweet. Which is a pity because the bun and patties we had on the 'Jumbo Aussie Rule' and 'Respect the Classic' were solid, serving sizes of even a single patty burger was good. Chips were fine. Would be happy to come back to sample something without the Kung-Fu sauce.

Friendly, fast service. Burger was served warm and had fresh ingredients. Good portion size and decent price. However, the centrepiece – the beef – was bland and overcooked. After a couple of visits, it seems, ironically, that the burgers are not their speciality. I'd recommend something from their Specials board or a couple of the Asian fusion side dishes instead.

Great and fast service, nice decor. Enjoyed having Connect 4 available to play on the table. The King Fu sauce is amazing, only wished there was more of it in the burger. Bun was perfectly crisp and the flavour combination was great for the classic.

The chicken drumsticks are simply stunning - great flavor and combination. The chicken bites are another highlight (so I regretted not taking any photos of them). They’re juicy and perfectly seasoned, not too spicy and non-spicy-lovers should give it a go as well. Last, the burger I ordered is called Thai box with slow cooked pork shoulder and sweet chili paste. The pork is a bit sour on its own but it comes well with the other ingredients.

I was initially sceptical of an Asian themed burger joint… would it be too naff? They have significantly improved their offering since they first opened. These kind of places need to take their time, work out what works and what doesn’t. I’m glad they have tweaks and refined their product because the quality and taste of the food is great. This time I went as part of a collab. I personally enjoyed the Japanese curry loaded fries with cheese, pickled veg and spring onions, topped with fried chicken bites. So tasty. The sweet potato fries were moreish. Burgers were pretty good. I had the limited edition one with the wasabi beef. The peppery horseradish was prominent but not overbearing. Risky but it pays off. There’s a lot of yellow and red in this store, which might resemble another burger place, but there is no comparison. Kung Fu will knock you out. Discovered this place through the EatClub app and I must say it became one of my fave burger joints around! The chicken burger was s scrumptious, such juicy and tender fillet. We also tried one of the specials on the menu, the Japanese Curry Loaded Fries, which was the bomb!

I love burgers, and I have sampled everything from every end of the spectrum (Maccas is cardboard torture). Having tried several Kung Fu burgers, I must say I am pleasantly surprised by how much I look forward to their burgers every time. The flavours are consistently fresh, and you can actually taste the "beefiness" in the patties, plus the softness and buttery texture of the buns! Also gets extra points for the creative and addictive chips they serve (you will know it when you try it). Highly recommended and I would recommend dropping by the next time you're in the area! (i know i would, even if it's only for those chips!)

Kung Fu burger is a small place with BIG burgers. I was surprised how big the burgers were and the sauces are suprisingly good. I got the Kimchi burger and it was delicious. Clearly made fresh to order because it took a good 20min to come out despite there being two chefs and only half a dozen customers in store on a sleepy Monday afternoon (I had a plane to catch! Worth the very mild stress though, as it was great and I made it to the gate with 15 minutes to spare before boarding).

Firstly, the portions are huge. I had it for lunch and I was full till next morning. Burgers were okay to me, started falling apart as I ate it and got sloppy due to the massive size of it. We had the Japanese curry fries - not really my cup of tea but the popcorn chicken is really good. Probably the best popcorn chicken I’ve had so far and definitely worth ordering that alone.

I usually order from here through uber eats but I was walking past in the storm and couldn't help myself! Boy, am I glad I did! As a recent Vego I find it hard to find treat food I like that won't upset my body too much but this place is amazing! I normally get the Aussie rules or the chicken burger so I got chips with the Thai mayo just to start but the owner is just so lovely! I'm not sure where she is from but her nature reminded me very much of when I visit Thailand! (I didnt get her name sadly) she was so kind and caring but mostly the huge smile on a rainy day is what got me wanting to stay! I noticed the specials and had to try the Loaded tofu Domino! $5!? What did I have to lose?well, Gosh it was great! 10/10 for flavor! I'm usually a coriander hater but I'm converted after today! I will be back over and over but if youre a local, do yourself a favor an pop in!!!!

Chicken bites were incredible, $10 for a massive container and the chicken is a pretty good size so it's not all fried bits, Mayo dipping sauce was perfect. I'm coming back just for that. Service was good and quick from a phone call. Not much parking nearby and Chapel is often packed and busy. Minister chicken burger was decent, little too much bun in the bun to burger ratio, but flavours were nice a subtle. Chicken was great.

We had some tasty burgers with original Asian twists. The beef patties are thick, juicy while the chicken is the real deal - no chicken patties just thigh meat in a crispy batter. The bottle shop fridges are handy if you're after a few cheap beers to have with dinner - some 6 packs were $20. I'll definitely be coming back for more burgers and beers.

Looking for a refined but taste smashed burger? Get your taste buds in a fight at KungFu Burger! Went late night 10 mins before close, they warmly greeted us. Ordering is easy with a distraction free menu. Just good punchy flavor with simple menu choice. Burgers were the best had in some time. Attention to detail was on point. Clean place to eat, food served in a basket which was quite good. Cooked perfectly. Highly recommend!

Kung Fu burger has a great selection of Asian Fusion burgers. It was really difficult to land on a decision as they all sounded so great. Ended up opting for the chicken burger, which featured pickled veggies and some really fresh greenery. The size to price ratio was good. The only disappointing thing was the lackluster fries/chips. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back to try some different burgers this place is a must!

Great food. I got the Gangham Style and it was great and the person I was with got a classic and it was also good. That being said, I don't think everyone would enjoy their burgers. People who like Korean flavors will love this place. If not, there are better burger options.

Came in for lunch at around 1230 and was greeted immediately as the store was very quiet. The service was friendly and the food came out pretty quickly. I tried the vegetarian burger which was nice except the tofu patty was a bit too heavy and flavourless. The chips were really crunchy and salty and i got a lot of them.

Great little place. My favourite is the crab burger. Beautiful light and crispy. Gotta have it then and there otherwise it goes all soggy. The chips that go with the meal are bit underwhelming though.

Have had Kung Fu Burger many times now and am never disappointed. Exceptionally friendly staff, great value/prices and of course delicious and reasonably healthy food. Always get value for money and nice for a treat when you feel like a burger but want something not too unhealthy like direct fast food, Maccas, KFC etc. Kung Fu Burger the right option and the way to go in my opinion. We were strolling around Prahran looking for a good and new food around this area. We saw "Kung Fu Burger" with the catchy looking shop, we checked out the menu "What?? Asian Burger" and got attracted. It was on Wednesday night and we didn't know that it was their opening day **wish to get some free promotion side dish LOL!! The customer service was very friendly and nice.We loved the cartoon classic art on the wall, it was cool! The vibe and place was very comfortable and relaxing, it was great experience for the first timer. We ordered "Oh Crab" burger (Tempura soft shell crab with wasabi mayo, tomatoes and lettuce) for $15.00. It didn't take long time to serve the burger and everything was served fresh. The tempura soft shell crab was very crunchy, tasty and generous portion. It was a good value of money to spend on this burger. The tempura was fried perfectly and it wasn't oily at all ( great job!! ) The mayo sauce had a rich taste but it wasn't too strong which made this burger even better because the sauce didn't overpower the original taste of the soft shell tempura. And then stick a super-soft bun around it, perfect touch! Overall, we enjoyed the food, the look and feel of the place. They gave us really good impression and certainly will come back! Hidden in plain sight. I was introduced to kung fu burger by a friend late at night. At first I was expecting something gimmicky as has often been the case with similarly named venues. The menu was reasonable and the prices were great. They seem to to cater for all types of dietary requirements. What they delivered after I ordered was without a doubt one of the best burgers that I've had in many years. They also have a chicken soup that is to die for. I can't wait until the next time I get to go back to this place.
