This is my new favorite burger place! The service was very friendly and thoughtful. I ordered a Strong Man burger with chips and it came in under 10 minuets. The beef was fresh, juicy and flavorful. The lettuce and tomato was also very fresh. Combined with the onions, pickles and sources, this was an amazing burger. I will defiantly go back again. ♥

Ordered sideshow on a delivery app, so take this review with a grain of salt. We were struck by how mediocre the burgers were. The buns were cold and untoasted, the cheese wasn’t melted and the burger was quite over cooked. The onion rings were similarly poor with the batter being tough to break through and overdone. It’s unlikely that we’ll order from Sideshow again with plenty of other options around the area. Sorry!

Delicious burgers and a good range of proteins. A few options for vegetarians. The onion rings are my favourite side but everything I've ordered from here has been good. The get pretty busy and for good reason but the most I have waited to pick up an order was an extra 5 minutes and that was on a busy Friday night.

I’ve always struggled when it comes to food and not feeling sick afterwards especially when it comes to takeout burgers but my sister told me to just give it a try and let me tell you it was the best burger I’ve ever had and I didn’t feel sick after eating it, the customer service was also fantastic and the owner was so lovely I would 100% recommend sideshow burgers to anyone that wants a quick and fantastically crafted meal

I ordered through DoorDash and wrote a special request for Coke Zero instead of normal. They delivered on that as well as the food perfectly intact and warm. They had however missed a large box of chips from the order. I called them up to explain the situation thinking of just asking for a refund although I was definitely a super fan of their chips but the person on the phone was super apologetic and offered to deliver it asap. When the missed chips came, it was hot and crunchy, and salted to PERFECTION! On top of that, they had also added churros, 2 cans of soft drinks and ice cream. What a lovely surprise! I felt really bad having to get them come all the way but they’ve handled it so graciously. I’ve been a returning customer before but this is now definitely my forever go-to place for burgers and chips! Thank you, Sideshow Burgers!

I ordered a meal via Uber Eats and my order was missing Onion rings. I called and spoke to Paul who was so lovely to call Uber and try find a resolution despite no extra drivers being available to re deliver. He then came down personally to deliver my onion rings and gave me some extra dessert. Thank you so much for your generosity Paul. Delicious burgers, very affordable prices and friendly staff! We loved the ever-spicy, very-tasty, super-deli Fire eater burger, the Jalapeño x Cheddar combination fires up the classic burger. We're looking for some spicy food to keep us warm in this cold May in Melbourne and went to Sideshow burgers, great choice. The relaxed ambience makes it perfect to eat in and have a chat with friends. They also do take away and in my opinion they were fast. After a burger and small fries and a peach tea I was full and had to leave so we couldn't try the milkshake. Will definitely go back!

Four stars are for the quality of the food, a very good selection of burgers and the chips are excellent. Last star gets added for customer service, I had payed for a deal, but selected items that were overall cheaper without realizing. The staff came and asked, confirmed and allowed a change. Most places wouldn't do that - it's the little things.

So far very good burgers, especially the beef pattie. But haven’t been enough to check consistency. Bit sweet, which is normally the bun or sauce. I had the Sideshow. I wish one day they will do a Blue Cheese sauce one, that will ascend this place to the next level ;-)

Great tasting American style burgers in Rosanna! Everything about them are great: excellent tasting, patty not too dry and good selection. The milk buns and pickles are especially great. Chips were hot, and nice n crispy. For dessert, we ordered the waffles which I’d highly recommend as well. Online ordering system is easy to use and they offer a 10% discount for using this function. Pick up was easy with COVID measures in place. Staff warm and friendly. Highly recommended.

Amazing burgers!! I got Sideshow burgers for the first time for a NYE group work take out dinner and they were so tasty, fresh and quality burgers. There was about 10 of us and the Mouth-watering burgers were loved by everyone! Definitely recommend!

Lazy Wednesday night in Rosanna, and decide to give the local burger joint a try... Didn't disappoint... Presented beautifully in a timely manner, and every component hit the spot... First time trying this for take out. Just had the Diablo deal - absolutely great burgers and value. Chips were incredible, nice and crispy, well salted and generously portioned. Southern fried chicken (Ringmaster) was moist inside and crispy on the outside, sauced well and just delicious. The Sideshow beef burger patty was juicy and cooked perfectly, the thickness was 10/10 and the bun was nice and soft. Really recommend - plus we got some tokens for our order which give you deals in the future, they really leaned into circus theme which is cool!

This place is definately the best in the rosanna,McLeod and heidelberg area. I like to think of myself as abit of a burger fan, and have tried majority of the shops in these areas. None of the the competition are as good as sideshow burgers, extremely tasty and properly done. ABSOLUTLEY SUPERB. I've never actually been in store, but ordered from both uber eats and deliveroo, the food has never even been cold. Great stuff.

What a gem this place is amongst all the commercial burger joints out this way ie maccas, kfc etc. Burgers and chips are awesome. Not to mention onion rings and Mac and cheese croquettes. Highly recommend trying it. I’m slowly working my way through the menu. Customer service is great, and they have this cool token system that you collect and then redeem for discounts on your next meal. Some people might find it a bit expensive if you’re used to cheap fast food, but it’s worth it. All ingredients are quality and it contributes to local business. Give it a crack!

On the recommendation of a friend we came here for dinner. Ordered two sideshow burgers (mine with bacon) small chips and onion rings. Total cost of $33. The burgers were very tasty, as were the onion rings. Chips were twice fried to give them that delicious light and crispy taste. Only complaint is they need a beer to make them perfect - but the premises isn't licensed. So we took them home and enjoyed with our own beer.

Very average burgers, overly airy milkshakes, very oily onion rings. If you're looking for an unhealthy meal this might suit you. Wouldn't recommend for families over four people. Price wasn't great for what we got. The restaurant is also awkwardly split and the eating area was poorly lit and didn't have many tables. Won't be coming back here but at least I tried it.

Burgers at their best, definitely amongst the best burgers in melbourne. I had the chicken Ringmaster and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The cooks must have taken so much care to make the burger. The onion rings and chips were crunchy and were served in a perfect amount. Perfect hangover cure burger, or your just in the mood for some great food.

I've eaten at the owners previous establishments, where they've experimented with 'burger night's previously. I was excited to hear they were doing a dedicated burger joint, and hoped I liked what they offered. I'm pretty critical of burgers - I like what I like - but also realise each place makes 'their' burger, and while I may not like one, I respect the fact that others will. The 'Sideshow' is obviously this joint's burger in that it's the simple meat, cheese, sauce, onions, pickle and lettuce kinda burger. At most places, this is the burger I order both to be able to compare, and because if you do it right, you shouldn't need much else. The combination of a not-too-sweet, soft, brioche bun, well-cooked good quality tasty meat pattie, a really tasty sliced pickle & onions, and the combination of mustard, ketchup and kewpie mayo ... it all works splendidly. The size is good - slightly larger than a lot of boutique modern burger joints, and the chips - while nothing out of the ordinary - are a good accompaniment. I occasionally do the Sideshow with bacon, which is great that you can choose to do so if you're in a bacon-y mood. Plus I've had the Ringmaster (southern fried chicken) a few times, and it's also delicious and the chicken is super tender. The secret sauce (both a chip-dip option, and it's on the Ringmaster) is delicious. I was kinda disappointed when one of the staff proceeded to tell me what was in it - I liked it being a secret. The fitout is sparse, and I would say 'hip' because I'm older, but I really dig the artwork. I haven't eaten there - this is normally our 'too tired to cook after putting the kids to bed' food. But it's pretty damn awesome food to sit on the couch and trawl Netflix while eating. Admittedly, I've had a few 'off' orders (a super-chewy pattie, wrong burger, really small small chips). But it's a new place - these things happen. I worked in hospitality for nearly a decade and starting something like this from scratch is quite difficult. But ... their consistency is ever-improving, and I'm working my way towards fasting for a whole day so I can build my own tower of burger like they keep putting pictures of on their FB page. Update: a few months on and they've added more burgers. The Smokey Joe is my new favourite burger ever. BBQ sauce, onion rings, bacon etc .... man, it's super tasty. I also tried the Snake Charmer, which had a really nice chipotle flavour with a bit of a kick. Every single order we've had in the last few months (over a dozen) has been super fresh, super tasty and always pretty quick.
