It’s been awhile since I visited The Fish and Burger Co. They have since expanded and the interior looked very welcoming. ☀️The sunny bits: The service was friendly and efficient. The burgers were fresh, full of delicious trimmings and generous in size. Special mention must be given to their truffle mayo fries. They were crispy and addictive. ☁️The cloudy bits: Parking can be a bit of an issue. I usually park at Devon Plaza and cross the road. Having a bit of a walk after a satisfying meal is not a bad idea. ⭐️The forecast: More fish and burgers please!

Had lunch with my grandma here on Sunday and had a lovely experience. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We ordered the Atlantic salmon with chips and heritage salad as well as the Ridin solo with blue grenadier grilled with house marinade with chips and rice. Both cooked perfectly, nice flavours. Chips delicious and heritage salad was fresh. Finished it off with some delicious gelati! We tried the lemon, mango and strawberry and all three were perfect. Great way to clean the palate after a fishy lunch.

Great food, amazing atmosphere and great service. I have been coming here with family and friends for five years. Not once has my order been wrong and the food quality always remains great. The menu is also very diverse with a huge array of options from burgers, to grilled chicken breast, to delicious calamari. Did I mention definitely a contender for Melbourne's best chips? Highly recommend.

I've been here many times with both family and friends. The burgers are usually very nice with one exception: a specials menu burger that was rather greasy, but the other burgers I had no issue with. The waffle fries are also a great option for sharing. Overall, good service, good food and good atmosphere.

Nice burgers. The Squid Ink (crispy lemon pepper calamari) is really good. And don't miss the Churros and the Fig Honey and pistachio gelato. Good place for families with children. Gets very busy on Friday evenings. Getting a parking spot is challenging unless you don't mind parking at the shopping centre about 5 mins walk away.

Fresh food, decent value for money & gelato was delicious. Thanks Joel who's the Manager. The only thing I would suggest to improve is a little more servings on the plate as I want to be fed more. Every aspect was brilliant! Service was prompt and very friendly! The food was absolutely superb. The buns were hot, toasted on the outside and soft on the inside ! One of our favourites! A fun casual eatery with a liquor license too. We love their creative burgers, and extensive menu - and make sure you finish off with an ice cream too. Table booking and confirmation was easy and straight forward. The management was very professional and helpful. Great burgers and gelato! I really love the Mr Whiting, described as a fancy Filet O Fish. French fries were a special item but I prefer the normal house herb chips. Great ranges of soft and alcoholic drinks as well.

When F&B first opened, it was one of the better hamburger places in Manningham. It was our go to hamburger place. Based on the last 5 visits however, F&B haven't been able to sustain that high standard. The burgers are okay but nothing special for the price. Potato cakes are still good. Staff are always pleasant and efficient. I may give F&B one more go but will start looking at alternatives.

Probably one of the cleanest burgers you will have this side of town. Their frise are unreal and make sure you get some dipping sauce. Plenty of other for to choose from if a burger isn't something you fancy. Plenty of seating, good beer, ice cream, dessert shakes, mega shakes, even mc and cheese balls. Can't go past the burger co for fresh, delicious and all around amazing food.

Delicious burgers! Had the "DFC" fried chicken burger which had the most crunchy chicken ever that went so well with the fresh Asian slaw combined with a hint of spicyness from the chilli sauce. Outstanding chicken burger I've had in awhile! Plus the buns are so soft and so good. And the herby chips are so good! Good amount of crunch on the outside and softness on the inside. Only downside to this place - they don't do amazing gelato but still good nonetheless. Definitely worth a visit for their burgers as they do it really well.

The chips and kale salad were well made, chicken nibbles had a nice kick with the spice although could be more tender. Literally a perfect burger. The interior of this place is actually really big for a burger restaurant, as well as being well decorated with comfy seats. This creates a sense that people come here for good burgers, which I now know they do! They also provide an extensive menu of seafood options as well, with special shakes and burger-style desserts. I found the QR code menu to be really helpful in choosing which burger I want as it showed pictures of every food item, as informed by the waiter. An innovative touch which will make me remember this place. As for the burger I ordered which was the Cheese and Bacon Deluxe, it was literal perfection. No mess, all ingredients meshed together harmoniously with the right amount of juiciness. Beef patty is grass fed victorian beef which is a bonus.

About the tast and price comparing with the other burger restaurnt, the burger is perfect however it is not the best. I tried DOUBLE CHILLI CHEESE and OL 'SCHOOL CHEESE. The price also expensive and the burgers does not deserve the price.

OUTSTANDING! This place is the model of what dining out and restaurants should be like. Dined in on a Friday night, two adults and one child. We were very pleasantly greeted as we entered the place and promptly seated. The restaurant was quite busy but the staff were relaxed and friendly. The place really seems to run like a well oiled machine. Orders were taken and drinks arrived shortly after. Everything about it screamed efficiency. The food was simple, really tasty and clean. The kitchen staff obviously take great pride in what they do and it shows. Everything about this place was excellent, I can't speak highly enough about it.

Seems silly but you cannot order your ingredients "on the side". For example if a burger has bacon you can't ask them to put it on the side instead of adding it to the Burger. Still excellent Burgers and their "Supershake" was the greatest thickshake I have ever had! Just a little disappointed about the silly rule.

My wife and I went in and picked up some takeaway. What a great venue, need to stop in one time and eat in. We ordered 2 of the general burgers and some fries. The burgers were $15 dollars each which is a little more than I normally pay. The taste was amazing, I can't think of another time I've had a better burger. It wasn't to salty either, all the ingredients were top quality. The fries was also great, Fish and Burger co must use really good oil to fry them in. The coating of the fries was really different. Would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back there soon.

The food was nice, service was good. Some of the food came later than the rest of the meals, by at least 10 mins. Also 2 of the dishes were supposed to include 2 sides, these were not offered. They put a time limit on us when we arrived which was a little off-putting, but when they were late in bringing food to the table we assumed the limit no longer applied. Update.... the manager reached out for clarification of my concerns raised in the OP. This was appreciated and I stand by my original review. I'm sure I will return to the restaurant at some stage and will update if things have changed.

My wife and I got there around 2.30 in the afternoon, not the busiest time of day, plenty of empty tables. For some reasons the waitress decided to put us on the far end table, right next to the toilets(where there were plenty of better options). We had to let her know it wasn't an ideal spot for us to dine, and ask to go to another table where it's a bit more comfortable. Food was good, burgers and chicken wings were quite delicious. Great burgers. The place was very busy, probably as they were recently featured in The Herald Sun. They have a fairly extensive menu and (more or less) reasonable prices; a little more expensive than some of the other great burgers places around, but they're still affordable. They had a lot of wait staff on when we went, which meant there was pretty good service despite how busy it was. I would almost say they had too many staff on at the time, but this may change in the near future when. They find their groove.

Wow I am truly amazed with not only the food which is just divine but the dining experience. The entire atmosphere of the place is welcoming and relaxed. But you still know it's a pretty high standard place. The brick wall adds a sense of rustic to the mood which is a touch of a classic diner vibe. But the aesthetic lights incorporated with rope that hang over the middle table towards the front adds some sophistication to the mood as well. Now on to the food. The prices are not as affordable as fast food prices as expected but the quality of the food truly delivers. When you first bite into the hey hombre burger you can taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients put into the meal. The crisp juicy tomatoes and the actually spicy jalapenos just go so well with everything else. The blend of flavours just merge perfectly in your mouth. A truly delightful dining experience with excellent customer service If you're hungry for some high quality burgers but don't want to rush to the city, The Fish and Burger Co is a must recommend

I reckon this is the best burger joint in Melbourne. I live in the inner city but happily drive down the M3 to get my fix here. Really good selection of burgers, ranging from modest to outrageous, different kinds of chips and onion rings, and a good drinks selection as well. Family friendly, ample parking available (but you might need to walk a couple of minutes - worth it), and really good atmosphere. Looks like they've spent a lot of money making this place as good as it can be. They've absolutely nailed it.

One of Melbourne's best burgers! I have slowly been working my way through the menu and Fish and Burger Co. I am yet to have a bad burger. The beef burgers are a stand out and are incredibly delicious. The chicken burgers are also very good, however I have had better elsewhere. The lamb burger is another hit. Overall, atmosphere and quality of food, this is a great establishment!

Nice food and drink, however portions are a little small, not enough seating during busy times (being able to reserve a table would help), prices are a bit steep compared to the amount you receive, also a 1% credit card surcharge and they don’t take AMEX. If I was able to make bookings, also lower the prices a bit or up the portions as well as take Amex and other cards with no surcharge for a 5 star rating.

I love this place. My fist experience was when they first opened and I was a meat eater. I still remember the cheeseburger I had and how it was exactly how I imagined a real cheeseburger should be. Now as a vegetarian I love the Mrs Falafel 😍. They also have amazing sides like the American waffle fries which are to die for, the onion rings always crispy, the classic potato gem has been given a bit of oomph or if you're game a jalapeno popper could accompany your burger. Came here on a Saturday afternoon around 12:30 with a group of 4 and didn't have any problems finding a seat. Most seating is shared on long tables so don't expect to find a seperate table for yourselves when it's busy. Decent variety of choices on the menu with several burger choices although if you are after a fish burger the ladyboy was the only choice. Burgers were a good size but as others have said the price for just a burger is on the high side i.e. $13.50 for just a fish burger. Most were happy with their burgers but the ladyboy is very spicy and I wouldn't have it again...which is a shame considering it's the only fish burger. The place is licensed with several beer choices at around $8 for most bottles. If you are after a bit of variety compared to your local fish and chips then this place provides that.
