Definitely this Chubby Buns is one of the best one in Sydney by taste and customer service 😋 Halal food options available too. About 12 parking spaces available at the back of the shop, organised seating area by the streets. Only down side is, it's located next to a super busy street, so if you dining in, need to prepare excessive traffic noise and smokes. Overall amazing burger joints 😋 👌 😍 🙌 ❤️ 💖

4.5 Stars. Love the street food vendor feel you would find in Asia. Service can be a bit of a wait because of all of the Uber Eats orders that come through, but the wait is generally worth it. Veggie burger is nothing to write home about. If you don't like spice, make sure you tell them not to put the Peri-Peri sauce on!

This place is ALWAYS busy. I love the outdoor setting and recently they have added a permanent shelter over the sitting area. This brand looks like a franchise, i'm not sure elsewhere but in Lidcombe the burger is delicious. Their special sauce and juicy patty so GOOD. Bonus for opening late, so hard to find a food vendor that open late in Sydney.

Not that the place needs any better promo than the crowds hitting it up at 2, 3 , 4 am but their products are phenomenal. Burgers are great, can chop and change with ease which is super useful. Quality size too, none of this tiny Grill'd burgers for exorbitant prices. Shakes are decent, not too extraordinary but definitely worth it with the burgers. Highly recommend. Beat part is the staff are always super friendly and knowledgeable. Very well worth every dollar.

The location is a bit strange, hard to get in. Still not sure if that's legal parking around back :). Seating wise, I don't do stools no back support. The chicken burger wasn't too bad. Grilled just right. The buns were a bit soggy. The beef one we just didn't like it, that bacon-looking strip was a real mood kill. It smelt extra greasy. Definitely not our thing. Hot chips were perfect. Prices, not the cheapest for what it is. In short, better than McDonald's. Not gourmet or anything though.

I got a combo deal with burger, chips, and soft drink can. I tried the Signature Chubby burger - I enjoyed it. Gourmet milk bun was nice and soft. Meat patty was tasty, juicy, not overcooked not undercooked. The special Chubby sauce was good. I liked the combination of ingredients on this burger and how well it was presented. The chips were not so great. They were way over cooked and just too crispy and tasted like oil and were just mostly broken into small short pieces. They also weren't evenly salted with some chips having too much salt and some not enough. The rest of the menu looks interesting. I wouldn't mind trying the chicken burgers and the thickshake. Also was quite a quick service. Parking at the back and tables and chairs in the front.

Their burgers are the bomb. The bun, patty, burger sauce, bacon, onion rings and everything in it is just so yummy. Great value for money. Service was pretty fast too considering the long queue. I swear it’s worth the drive.

Very nice experience of visiting this place. Very jovial person at the Cash Counter. Chicken burger and vegetable burger both are good quality wise and quantity wise too. Bun also fresh and soft, mayonnaise and green chutney were perfect. And it was made on charcoal, that's the speciality of the place. It's on main busy road. At least 30 minutes waitin after ordering, but worth. One must try, if not yet!! Best wishes to staff working there 😊🙂.

This place has very good loaded fries game, one of my favourites for loaded fries. Burgers are kinda unique to me, even if I might not think it has Sydneys best pattie, it's burgers pack a bit of a punch and have that smoky grilled kinda taste to them which I do also like. Not really a fan of peri peri sauce, or slightly spicey burgers but the Signature Special burger really somehow makes it work for me. Always all round pretty happy with this place, parking along Frances road is very easy, you might even prefer eating in your car there than sitting at the place. Shake options are pretty interesting too, I think the snickers pod is probably one of the nicest shakes I've had in a bit. Don't be surprised if while queing you hear a couple truckers enthusiastically tooting past this place!

Worth revisiting! Pros - Good value for money, burgers aren't too expensive and are quite tasty! Burger patty is juicy and not too thin, cooked really well. Good amount of sauce however could be lighter on the Masterfoods chilli sauce as it overpowered the other flavours. Dropped by at 1am on a Friday night, there was a bunch of people around, all friendly and nice. I was driving past and saw the smoke and the lights and it looked interesting enough so I turned around and went back. I had a signature burger and it was excellent. I was served fast (despite the crowd) and stood around chatting with some excellent folks. This place has the kind of atmosphere that you can't fake. It's a tiny burger joint right on top of a public weighbridge on busy Parramatta road. Recommended. Returned after a few months, this time with my wife, it was 130am, the place is still the best for late night food in Sydney. I've read through a couple of the reviews here and found one from a vegan who gave it one star, which is great comedy. If you'll excuse me, I have to go and give a one star review to a gym I joined - they expected me to exercise! Unbelievable! Anyway, thanks Joey - great burgers.

Based on a food blogger's recommendation we gave this road side eatery a try on a cloudy Friday evening. It serves its hungry customers from a food truck which is located smack on the busy Parramatta road. They have ample free parking just behind the food truck so don't worry about that. We ordered their Signature burger, chicken burger and a beef burger. I asked our burger to be more spicy which we sometimes do. The burgers are really delicious. Meat was well marinated, juicy and fresh. We paid $30 for 3 huge burgers a can of coke and two medium size boxes of french fries. Definitely worth the price. Families may not prefer to sit there and eat as it is not so comfortable and nosy due to busy traffic. You can always take away your food. Would like these young lads to add in wholemeal buns to add more variety to their menu and they may consider improving the bun quality. Nonetheless a must try if you are fond of burgers and in particular chubby buns. Keep improving guys!

Its really a gourmet burger with taste second to none. For a combo meal the serving (look at the pic) of chips is really big. Service was quick too. I have tried the double beef pattie burger with beef rasher on top. It wasn't dry at all and was full of taste. Most burgers are $8 and combo were $12. If u choose to get double pattie buger will be $12 and combo $16. The only downside it's next to paramatta road with lots of noice from the cars and may u will inhale a bit of smoke from cars exhausts too. As it on paramatta road there is no parking. So I parked on Frances St. And walked to the place. The $1 special sauce with the chips was good, thaste a bit like a cheese thousand islands sauce. The best part for me is that its all halal.

I always get Burgers from chubby Buns and it takes around at least 10 minutes to be ready. Last time i offered Aussie burger and forgot to ask them to remove bbq sauce so right after two minutes I went to the guy and asked him to remove bbq sauce but he said your order is ready, my wagyu beef petty burger was ready in two minutes. I opened the box in parking spot after 3 to 4 minutes the burger was cold and didn't had any taste. The burger was definitely pre made and wasn't fresh.

Fantastic burgers and chips. Burgers are made to order, but are very tasty and well worth the wait. The chips are seasoned with chicken salt and taste fantastic. Comparable to a fish and chip shop around the harbor. Unfortunately, due to the colder weather these days, the food and chips get cold quite quickly, which causes both the chips and burgers to get cold quickly and stiffen up; as a result, it may alter your taste. Okay, so, it's a burger joint. But, what makes it so different to the rest of fabulous burguer joints around Sydney? They care. The beef patties are charcoal grilled, not flamed or pan grilled: CHARCOAL. The flavour of these burgers are simply amazing, thanks to this way of cooking it giving you the best food value for money (the most expensive one is $17 and I had a hard time finishing it). Forget about talking with your mate or partner when eating their burgers, you just can't, your brain is in such an ecstasy mode that you forgets even how to speak, to focus all your brain functions in enjoying what your chewing. 6 stars out of 5. I'm not joking.

The atmosphere there is so family friendly and great perfect for a late night snack with a group of mates or just on your own. The workers are extremely nice and make you feel like your one of their own. Great location with loads of parking.

Absolutely loved this place for what it tries to be - a food truck serving the finest grilled Burgers all the way to the early hours of the morning. You need to be in the mood for the roadside, gritty, large non-nonsense Burgers to love this place. The chubby Buns were juicy, delicious, meat cooked perfectly, and there's always a line at night. Well worth every 5 star review, Chubby buns delivers delicious burgers that balance flavour combinations. After my first bite of a signature Chubby Burger, I went back to order a chicken fillet burger. There was no way that I could stop at one. Parking is available in the side street immediately before the shop, with limited parking at the rear of the location.

This place is about the atmosphere. The smokey aroma, the conversations had whilst sitting back and car spotting on Parramatta road. The burgers are on par with what celebratory chefs produce, if not better but service is rather slow as the truck needs to improve its kitchen. The boys do the best they can and have a friendly attitude. Parking is at rear.

One of my favourite burger joints. I love that they are open until late and it’s always got a decent sized crowd. Being located on such a busy road is possibly the only negative as there are cars that race by and give their horns a good workout. Food here is very affordable and value for money. I’ve been back several times and haven’t yet been disappointed in the slightest!

Well, not particularly impressed. I have passed by this food truck a million times and alwsys seen people waiting to grab a bite.So when I finally decided to check it out, I was left underwhelmed. This is a good road-side burger shack. It is open late, there is outdoor seating (not weather-proof), there is a good mix of clientelle, the burgers are far better than those you will get at the big chain stores, the menu is kept simple and as a result they can handle the volume of customers quickly.

Fresh food... Chicken was cooked to perfection... Very busy at the time we went there... Waited for around 20 minutes, but worth it... I reckon parking space and sitting space is not enough especially to maintain social distancing of 1.5m. Toilet was dirty, better to say not available... I went for food and I loved it.

I have frequented Cubby buns both here and at blakehurst 5 to 6 times. On this occasion as I've done many times before, I upgraded my meal to loaded fries. When I opened my fries I noticed one side of the box was empty. The box was was 2/3 full. Considering these fries are $10 each this was quite disappointing. When I went back to the gentleman working at the customer service he looked at the box and bluntly said "what's wrong with it" After which he just threw some plain fries on top. I will head to blakehurst next time.

I like the signature burger here that come with pineapple ring. It's so delicious and there's few combinations here to suit your taste bud. There's some open air seats for you to dine here or you can take away. There's always a queue for the food. The burger come with a chip and a soft drink of your choice. Great burgers! They only seem to be open evenings, but open real late 2am+++ I believe everything is Halal, so no bacon but they have a substitute that tastes just like bacon. They often have a good crowd and they seem to put out orders in a timely manner. Parking is onsite with a plastic company. Seating is all outdoors so its a bit weather permitting.

I don't always eat there but when i do i love it.. Its sinfully good tasty. Everytime i order one burger i feel like i need more. Chubby special is nice but the burgers with bacon is better. They have burger with wagyu meat too. You can take away or eat in. Mind you its by the road so there are no walls and its a whole different experience.. Bring along something to wipe table clean if you must have clean tables coz unlike macdonalds, aint nobody's there to clean the tables for you. You clean up after you've had your meal. Or bring a tablecloth from home (I've seen someone do that). Not exactly high in ambiance but to me the ambiance reminds me of roadside food stalls in malaysia so its a bot nostalgic.

We noticed it everytime we went passed it on Parramatta Rd cause of the delicious smell of grilled beef patties and it's packed on weekends. The food is better then too. We tried it on a weekday once and didn't like it as much. Im guessin it's cause the food is fresher on weekends or maybe its the ambiance on the weekends that gets you.
